I’ve notice you use blenders for all your recipes. What is the difference between a blender and a juicer and can one use a juicer instead of a blender to make smoothies? I have a juicer but not a blender available.

Me encanta lo que estan haciendo que es ayudando a cambiar el estilo alimenticio, pero en mi caso no quiero rebajar de peso, ya que mi alimentacion no contiene sal ni azucar, como hago con los batidos.

Can green smoothies be immediately frozen? Will they lose nutrients in the freezing or thawing processs?

Hey LE.

Some people say you have to drink it “right away” to get the optimal nutrients from each blend. But if left in the fridge over-night for one to three days, the taste and satisfaction is still there. You also may add a small amount of lemon juice to preserve and keep the smoothie blend as fresh as possible. Your body is still reaping the benefits of consuming fruits and vegetables even if it is not consumed right away.

I have crocheted covers that keep the smoothie cool, and somewhat insulated and also stop the glass from shattering.. fall proof ( have tested) You should try it

I just started his October 30 day smoothie challenge, and Im super excited, incorporating it with my daily workout. Do I need to give up coffee? I drink maybe a cup a day, mostly tea though.

No need to give up coffee for the 30-Day Challenge. 🙂 Just by drinking green smoothies daily without even changing your regular diet, you are moving in the right direction towards healthy eating. We suggest you eat real food that’s free of processed sugar and avoid ingredients that you can’t pronounce. My personal meal plan during the green smoothie diet will be paleo-inspired with lots of veggies and some seafood (we’re both pescatarians).
