    Because it makes me feel good to have a healthy morning routine that can be done quickly (even though the sound of the blender wakes up my boyfriend at time!) and bring it with me on the go. No more excuses not to have a healthy and nutritious meal in the morning! The photos and graphic of the recipes and website makes it even more fun and easy!

    I am completing the 30-day challenge because I know that I have never felt better, more energized, and more alive than when I eat healthy; but getting all my fruits and vegetables in in one day can be a challenge. However, getting my daily allowance of fruits and vegetables is never easier than when I combine them all into one smoothie – it’s delicious and excuse-free! It’s a win-win for my mind and my body!

    I’m a shift worker and always feel tired and run down. My motivation to do the 30 day challenge is to try and lose some weight while finding a new way to feel energized and consume more nutrients as any one who works shift work knows, it’s hard to eat well without a lot of work.

    My journey to become more healthy began last summer as a participated in clean eating. I noticed once summer was over (I’m a first grade teacher) I began to slowly go back to my unhealthy ways of eating…skipping meals and eating high fat/calorie foods or meals. This lead to me feeling light headed/dizzy throughout the day and falling numerous times at work and at home. In June, I found out that my body fat is 35.8% of my 139 lb 5’4″ body. I decided to join a small studio to strengthen my body through a weight circuit workout and to lower my Body fat. My goal is to gain 10 lbs of muscle and to lower my body fat to 30%. Also, the studio has a nutritionist which has helped me understand the importance of eating more clean meal throughout the day. Smoothies are on my meal plan most mornings and I found I enjoyed drinking my green smoothies more then my usually coffee/mocha. This is is why I joined your 30 day smoothies challenge. At times I have added protein powder which just made the smoothie richer (usually on a workout day).

    I am in the middle of a transition fase after realising that I can’t eat gluten, so the smoothies is a really good, fast and easy breakfast for me that can’t eat bread. And I also love that it helps decreasing my sugar intake, and it just makes me feel so much better and healthier!

    I have been all over the map trying to figure out the best diearyt for me. I have autoimmune disorders and have tried raw, vegan, paleo (with just fish) and AIP. The most wonderful thing about a green smoothie is that it fits in with all methods and provides me the fuel (both physical and mental) to stay clean. I’ve loved green smoothies for a long time, but a good challenge is always great for keeping them coming. I like to keep the sugar on the lower end with the smoothies. I feel best when the energy comes primarily from the greens. I love trying new recipes too! Thanks!

    Smoothies have been a long standing favorite of mine but applying your concepts to them has taken my smoothies to an entirely new level! Not only do your recipes add extra nutrition but now I have the WOW factor in my smoothies!!! My motivation to do the challenge was simple – step it up a notch. What I have received in return after only one week is amazing – more energy, a positive attitude and great sleep!!!!!
