Smoothies have made it so much easier to sneak in fruits and vegetables to my husband’s diet and my own. Yay for smoothies!

My daughter was born with hydronephrosis and was out on a limited diet once she started eating solids that included eating mainly greens. At first I had no idea how I was going to incorporate greens into all of our diets as a family, in order to make it easier for my daughter since I have another daughter who is super picky. Then I came across this website so I figured I would give it a try. I am now on my 3rd/4th 30 day challenge, my kids LOVE the green smoothies and even my husband has jumped onboard! My daughter with hydronephrosis is the only one though that doesn’t seem to mind the “chunks” whenever there’s a smoothie that doesn’t come out as smooth as we’d like. Now we all are eating healthier and have more energy than ever!

These smoothies have changed my life! I’ve lost weight, got clearer skin and have more energy. If I don’t have a smoothie now my day is incomplete! As a busy doctor I hadn’t realised just how burnt out and depleted my body was. Long hours, poor eating, high stress levels shot my body and adrenals, leaving me constantly tired, sleepy, bloated and sallow. This has immensely helped get my OWN health back on track, while helping others. I’m so converted that I’ve made everyone around me start the smoothie challenge as well! Keep it up ladies, you’re changing lives.

While I agree with all the taste/heath comments, my most favorite thing is about the smoothies is my son will drink them. He’s on the Autism spectrum, and has food sensory issues. The foods he will eat are so limited, and if he doesn’t like the smell, look, or texture of something, they are a no-go. I worry a lot about him being malnourished. I’ve been straining the smoothing through a fine-mesh sieve, so there’s no small lumps or bumps. I’m excited because he drank the entire glass of Pineapple-upsidedown-cake-smoothie. Having a great blender would save me time, and would be extremely beneficial to my son. I also really like how it doesn’t break the bank to purchase the fruits and liquids. The free resources you provide are amazing!

I just jumped on the green smoothie bandwagon, and I’ve been loving it so far! I’m training for my first triathlon this summer, and green smoothies have been helping me get a good variety of food into my diet – in a way that is super easy and amazingly tasty! Thanks!!

Confession time! Prior to the 30 Days of Green Smoothies Challenge I never ate greens OR drank Smoothies so this is ALL new to me! I thought I would hate the taste (wrong!!). I am addicted! It’s been really hard for me since I am a Diabetic but I’ve continued to experiment w/different fruits to find out what doesn’t drive my blood sugar up. As it turns out, frozen fruits work best for keeping my sugar levels low, not fresh. Almond milk doesn’t work (adds too much sugar) so I only use water in my smoothies but they still taste great! Two weeks in, I am down 10 pounds. My doctor tells me that raw foods and smoothies can’t work for Diabetics but it IS working….it’s not conventional medicine, but it is what our bodies need. I just learned last night that Swiss Chard is actually GREAT for lowering blood sugar so that will be the next greenery on my shopping list! I am keeping a food diary with my blood sugars to document my journey to help prove my doctor wrong. Thanks for inspiring me on this journey to health and fitness! LIG!! 😀

I’d loooove to win this! I got pretty sick of salads and green smoothies have been the answer. I like mixing it up and trying different favors. I’ve even gotten into the healthy bowl movement. It’s not quite a salad and it is a salad. The textures and favors you can mix together make it more interesting. It’s kind of like the smoothie. I’m so grateful I came across your site and your Instagram. You’ve inspired healthy eating for me!

About 2 years ago I discovered green smoothies and it has blessed my family. My kids also LOVE them and it is a great way to get in the veggies. Not only do I love your recipes, but it has taught me a lot about ways I can create wonderful drinks and foods using real food, no artificial sweeteners and getting the most nutrients. Thank you for your challenges and sharing all of the wonderful information and recipes.

I’ve been juicing since 2010, but the smoothies were a new twist on my regimen. I loved all the recipes and the variety of drinks. When I started juicing, it was for non-traditional health reasons. I had been involved in a very tragic accident, where I sustained a concussion, 2nd degree facial burns, fractured arm, and various other injuries. The doctors said I would need repeated plastic surgeries for facial reconstruction, along with other therapies. My mother, bless her heart, researched and we began juicing. My skin regenerated itself, my injuries healed, my body got energy sources to get stronger again. It was a miracle. The doctors were flabbergasted. I love sharing my testimony with others because I’ve been there and it works. I am a newly graduated nurse, but it’s always beautiful to see the body take care of itself with little intervention from medical interventions and therapies. Thank you for your challenge. I have shared it with many others. Please continue to do research and promote healthy lifestyles to the world.

Blending turned into bonding! My lovely roommate & I have found green smoothies to not only be healthy for the body but good for our souls! We’ve spent a lot of intentional time together planning our week, shopping, and getting creative together. And it’s a great boost to the day to have quality time in the morning while packing in the vitamins:)

I started the Green Smoothie Challenge back in March 2014. Was trying to incorporate more fruits and veggies into my diet. Asked my hubby to do it with me. He said, “As long as you’re making one for me, I will drink it.” I happy to say, I’ve stayed consistent on making a smoothie for the both of us. A smoothie first thing in the morning makes me feel refreshed and energized. My hubby says, he doesn’t feel much of difference internally, but we have noticed that the dark areas on his face are clearing up! Doctor’s have prescribed him creams in the past, but were not working. We truly believe that it’s the green smoothies have helped his skin problem. For that, I will continue to make smoothies for he and I every single day! Thanks ladies!!!

I started making smoothies because I noticed I was not getting enough veggies. I quickly became very bored and looked for other fun recipes. I found simple green smoothies that has given me a plethora of recipes. I have even convinced my boyfriend a proclaimed carnivore to try and like some of the recipes. This is itself is a huge accomplishment since he is anti green foods. I am sharing this experience with all my family and friends. While I do love making the green smoothies, my biggest struggle is the blender I currently use is time consuming and triples the time I spend in my kitchen. Green smoothies have helped me start my journey to loving my new skin and get the veggies my skin needs!!
