Green smoothies have allowed me to enjoy more veggies in my life. They have been there when I don’t feel like cooking, or am hungry and have a sugar craving. And they just make me feel healthier and happier 🙂

Hi! I love green smoothies. They make my day brighter when I drink them, and I miss them when I don’t drink them! In the summer, I’ll always start my day off with a good jog and then sit down, look through my phone, and drink a good smoothie:) It’s like the best thing ever. Your page has especially helped me try to learn new things, it reminds me of staying on track and helps me remember how much I love healthy foods. I love your blog and how happy you two ladies are, and I love looking at your blog for inspiration!
I could use this blender because my blender is about ten years old. Lately after I’ve been using it, it gets this burnt rubber or plastic smell that makes me wonder if I’m doing something wrong or if something bad is in the smoothie. Whatever the case is, I’m pretty sure it has something to do with the blender. I would definitely love a new blender because they’re awesome:)
Thanks for doing this competition, I love blenders and I love green smoothies, and I love your page! Thanks for reading my long comment haha! I hope you consider me!
    Green smoothies make me happy!:)

I started experimenting with green smoothies a few weeks before (mid June) I learned about the challenge. I decided to join the challenge to help keep me motivated to continue, and to commit to having one every day. I already ate plenty of fruits and vegetables, but adding the green smoothie has somehow helped to cut my carb cravings. I feel more energetic (maybe because my body doesn’t have to work as hard to get the nutrients). Instead of carb cravings I have green smoothie cravings. 🙂 I have also noticed improvements in my digestion, and my skin feels smoother.
I have a feeling that getting through the rest of the month is going to be a breeze. This is something I will continue for life. 🙂

Green smoothies have really helped re-shape my diet. Breakfasts are quick and easy to blend up with just a few ingredients. I also waste a lot less food since most of the fruits and veggies I use can be frozen. I think the biggest change drinking green smoothies has caused is my ability to taste the processing of other foods. They taste super salty or sweet now and I can distinguish the unwanted chemicals. Since those foods taste so bad now, it helps me stay even more focused on eating (and drinking) right.

Lean, Green, And A Lot Less Mean! Green smoothies have been a total game changer – the ultimate fast food, I wiz one up before heading out the door on busy mornings. No more trolling for the kids’ abandoned toast crusts, or succumbing to the temptation of mid-morning muffins – I feel full AND light, healthy and energized all morning. And, without the peaks and troughs from all those carbs, I’m less cranky. Win, win, win. My favorite mix: 3 cups spinach, a frozen banana, unsweetened almond milk, one date, one tablespoon chia seeds, two tablespoons protein powder, and one scoop of Amazing Super Food from Green Grass. DIVINE! Thank you, Green Goddess Ladies!

I love green smoothies! I have been drinking them off and on (more on) since January this year, and decided to do the challenge to be motivated to drink them daily. I struggle with IBS, and I’ve found that when I’m having a bout, green smoothies sit well and ensure I get nutrition. They also help me get back on track quickly when I have strayed from my healthy path. And they let me be creative with ingredients, which is just plain fun!

Green Smoothies helped me as I learned how to eat whole/real foods. Over the last 2 yrs I have lost 50 lbs, gained TONS of energy, healed my body from various little issues I had, gotten clearer skin, shinier hair, etc. Most importantly, learning how to make them taste good has helped me get more greens/raw foods in my kiddos! That alone is priceless!

I have had a chronic colon disease for more than 40 years. Instead of drugs and surgery, I keep it controlled with alternative therapies, diet and exercise. The diet part, though, means that what I eat is severely restricted. I joke and say that I can only eat four foods, but that’s not far from the truth. And unfortunately, those foods have to be well cooked or in soup form. Green smoothies have, for the first time in years, allowed me to eat raw vegetables (no fruit allowed, so it’s just spinach, kale, parsley, romaine). Not wonderfully delicious for most, perhaps, but for me to be able to consume something utterly fresh, and not cooked to mush, is beyond wonderful.

Green smoothies have helped with some of my IBS issues. My lower GI is more settled, and I have more energy overall.

Green Smoothies have given me better digestion and better, ok, just going to say it, eliminations. 😉 That really has changed my life for the better because I have Interstitial Cystitis and one of the sub disorders of that is IBS. So it is wonderful to have something that can help. The foods I eat must be healthy and organic or IBS takes it’s toll.

I started green smoothies last October. After about a week, I had used up all the smoothie recipes that I had. THANK Goodness I found Simple Green Smoothies!! I’ve been drinking them most mornings. This past winter my whole family was sick multiple times, and I was able to hold off the sickness. I’m pretty certain it was from the nutrients in these smoothies. Thanks!

Last year I bought a nutri bullet to help change my life style. I started doing research about green smoothies and really got into it. I found your Instagram account last year where it totally changed my life and perspective on my lifestyle. I then started making smoothies for people while trying to spread the love and enjoyment I get from having them. I always said it’s a mind over matter game .. Just because it’s green doesn’t mean it taste bad. A year later and I have almost stopped taking energy drinks to get me through the days and weeks with my busy schedule due to clean eating and green smoothies. However, I always wish I have more room in my nutri bullet cup to add more veggies and ingredients to my smoothies. If I won the blender I know I would put it to good use each and everyday to spread the benefits and love of green drinking. (And I would be able to fit all the smoothie ingredients into one blender :))

HEALTHY FOOD SHOULD TASTE GOOD. Thats my mantra. All benefits aside. All facets examined. At the end of the day we were designed to enjoy living. Food is one area that should not be sacrificed, especially when we observe the chemicals and pesticides used in our food. Smoothies ive made from your recipes add enjoyment to my day. Its a reward even when i ate that
t last donut. Too bad I don’t have a pc towork for you giys

I never thought that I would drink a green smoothie. If you had asked me about green smoothies three months ago my face would have wrinkled in revulsion. My opinion of green smoothies has drastically changed in the last three months, ever since my mom made me try them. I find that green smoothies are not only delicious, they are filling. I don’t crave food after eating a green smoothie, and I feel energetic after drinking them.

Green smoothies have allowed me to drastically change my life in the last three months. I have started exercising, because green smoothies made me feel so good. I also feel like the balanced diet that seems to naturally arise out of green smoothie drinking has allowed me to feel more positive. I have stopped eating so much meat, and am focusing more on my fruits and vegetables. I am even happier and feel like I am able to live my life more fully. I now encourage all of my friends to try green smoothies, and to reap the benefits, too.

I started the green smoothie challenge April 2013 and have not had a day away from them since! I’ve had so many complements on my glowing skin and my hairdresser remarked, a few months after the challenge, how great my hair was looking. My hair was starting to thin, but not anymore!
I’ve converted quite a few converts to the green smoothie way too! I would much rather drink my greens than spend an hour chewing them 🙂
