Green smoothies definitely changed my health. I started it 6 months after I had my first daughter and lost all baby weight. I got pregnant for baby #2 & could not stomach veggies so gained weight. Started again four months after baby #2 and have lost close to 20 pounds. I crave less, have my energy back, sleep better and no more body aches. Green smoothie keeping me on track to my weight loss goal.

Green smoothies have become a meal staple daily for several years now. They actually jump started my way to whole food eating (not to mention actually adding vegetables into my diet, which I never did before). Following your challenges have helped me stay on track when I start to waver. Thanks so much for this giveaway offer. Thanks too for all you do to remind us to stay healthy!

I think the biggest change is just getting more fruits and veggies in – and feeling better during the day!

Green smoothies are just an easy amazing way to get extra fruits and veggies into my ( and my kids…and my hubby’s) diets. What a great thing, especially in summer when you really don’t want to heat up the kitchen by cooking. Thanks for all of the fabulous recipes! I can’t imagine starting my morning any other way 🙂 You RAWK!!

In the 16 months since I gave birth to my first child, I have been looking for ways to make my family healthier–we cook as much as we can, buy organic, and support our local farms and businesses. However, nursing, sleep deprivation and running after a young toddler still left me feeling run down. Green smoothies have been a life changer for me! I stumbled upon this website while looking for recipes on 100 Days of Real Food and will be forever thankful! I’m able to pack more fruits and veggies into our diets than ever before, my picky baby sucks down every smoothie like it’s the nectar of the gods, I have energy and mental clarity again, and the variety of recipes means we can never get bored! I love being a part of this challenge and learning about all the wonderful things green smoothies have to offer. But I may be most excited about how this will help me give my son all the tools he needs to begin a lifelong love of good food, health and wellness. Thank you Jadah and Jen!

I began the 30 day challange in January of last year and I never stoppped! I have never ever felt so good. I have helped change the lives of others by sharing my love of green smoothies. I have learned to care for myself in ways I never knew were possible. Everyday when I nurture my body I am filled with inspiration for my day. You two gave me tools to nurture my family with green smoothie love too. I’m grateful and healthy and happier than at any other point in my life. Green smoothies go deeper than being a simple beverage. They are life affirming. Thank you Jen and Jadah. Love, Heather

Green smoothies have been such a great addition to my day! After having a baby, I found that eating healthy and getting the right kind of balanced nutrition was hard. Adding a smoothie (or two) has made it so easy to get a serving of fruits and vegetables in without having to really think about it and plan a meal.

The 30-Day Green Smooth Challenge has been extremely rewarding form me. After just two weeks of consuming a delicious green smoothie every morning, my skin is glowing, my hair looks healthier, my energy has increased, my daily 10+ mile runs are easier, and my unhealthy cravings have decreased. Most importantly, I feel fantastic! Now, my two sets of twins and my husband are begging for yummy, green smoothies. I crave them and can’t imagine a day without one. Thank you Jadah and Jen! You rawk!

My husband and I are loving the green smoothies. We started drinking them a couple of weeks before the challenge began. We are using them to help us eat healthier and hopefully loose some weight. I look forward to having them in the mornings and it’s helping me make better choices later in the day.

I’ve been doing the green smoothies now since November. I have always lived a healthy lifestyle and have been active. Both of my parents passed away from heart attacks at a young age. 52 and 54. From that point on I started looking into nutrition more and found the juicing and green smoothies to be a great ritual everyday. My husband, who is very picky gave me the wrinkled nose when I put the spinach, coconut & Mango smoothie in front of him. To his surprise, he enjoyed it! Some days it tastes more “earthy” then others, but I am fully committed to making either a juice or a smoothie everyday for the two of us. I love all the recipes you have on your site, and I thank you for what you are doing to help others achieve a healthy lifestyle as well!

I don’t ever sign up for things that are going to give me emails since I never want to read them. But a while ago I signed up for your newsletter/recipe/30-day challenge. That alone means something. And you know what? Every time I got an email, instead of being annoyed and looking for the “unsubscribe” button, I still get super excited. I didn’t even do the 30 day challenges for a long time. I would only browse the recipes and tell myself “one day.” I’ve had a good blender for a few years and already made smoothies here and there, sometimes green, sometimes not. Finally I think it was May that I did your 30-day green smoothie challenge. And now I’m hooked! And I won’t even WASTE my time making a smoothie unless I know I can put some green in there. Having a green smoothie every day to start my work day (or day off!) has put my all of my activities and eating habits in perspective. I’ve been working out a TON lately, training for an ultramarathon AND weight lifting 4 time a week. So not only is a green smoothie a great way to get needed nutrients, it’s a NECESSITY since I also use it as a vessel for my protein – which I need 5 servings of a day. Eating has become SUCH a chore, but when I’m sick of EVERYTHING, I know I can down a green smoothie NO PROBLEM (Knowing I’m getting a full salad with every smoothie is also nice!). So without green smoothies, I would be totally nutrient deficient…… and die.

Green smoothies have changed my life as well as my family. We all notice more energy and are a lot happier when we consume green smoothies. It’s great to know we can enjoy a tasty treat while getting the benefits from all the fruits and veggies!

I had done one of your challenges and loved the results- finally dropped the baby weight after my third child and had clear skin for the first time in my life. Then when I found out my 12 month old baby boy was anemic I found an even better reason to drink green smoothies. I noticed all the foods I was supposed to be feeding him were foods I was putting in my smoothie. So, my toddler started sharing my green smoothie everyday and by his 15 month doctor appointment his iron levels were back to normal. Thanks girls!!!

Let’s face it, me and veggies never really got along. We just didn’t see eye to eye. I guess they were mad that I was spending so much time with processed foods and sugar. I mean who can blame them? Well, turns out my so called friends really weren’t. This whole time they had been so nice to my face, but they were doing me wrong. As soon as I
realized the error of my ways, veggies and I started hanging out more and more. I started slow, with green smoothies. Man, kale and spinach are ninjas in smoothies, it’s like I couldn’t even taste them! They had some great support from super foods, but they are pretty great on their own. Before you knew it, veggies and I were BFF, Best Food Friends. I don’t know what I would have done if I wouldn’t have stumbled on them. It’s all thanks to those devilishly good smoothies. 🙂
