Hi RawkStars!! I can’t wait to commit to this. I have been holding on to “baby-weight” since my 2nd daughter was born. Although I don’t think I can call it “baby-weight” anymore, she just turned 6, LOL!! I also have gotten very discouraged because being a mom of 2 girls (ages 16 & 6), a wife of 12 years, a part-time student, and full time employee really takes a toll on my time. And since my father was sick last month, and had to tend to his needs as well, I definitely need some mommy-care right now! I need a way to sneak in healthy foods that will satisfy my cravings for sweet treat, but also give me nutrient dense boost for my afternoons so I can keep going — instead of the fresh donuts at the new fancy bakery near my job, ugh!. And when it’s easy and broken down step by step for me, I know I will do it. I’m only 35 years old, I want to grow into my years healthy and strong mind, body, and soul. Thanks !

The first time I did the smoothie challenge, back in July, I loved it and found myself trying fruit I never had before. I felt energized and it began my journey of eating healthy. I finished the 21-day cleanse, felt fantastic, then started slipping back to my old eating habits. I am ready to get back on the wagon 🙂

I’m excited to start the 30 day challenge today! I’m drinking my green smoothie right now 🙂 I hope to have more energy, lose weight and for my clothes to fit comfortable. I always feel tired and drink up to 3 cups of coffee a day. I want to stop feeling like I need coffee to function. I’m committed to drinking a smoothie for the next 30 days for my health.

A thousand mile journey starts from the first step. I am coming from a very unhealthy eating habits environment, where green leafy vegetables are not considered as a real food. They are rather something that cows eat, and humans are not cows, so why eat these?
About ten years ago I started to question this statement, and slowly step by step I picked up some healthy eating habits from here and there…. And then I had two kids one after another. And guess what? At some point during this winter I realized that I have no energy at all, even though I keep eating meat and some veggies. Also, a big issue for me is my “mommy tommy”: would that thing ever go away?
These two thoughts brought me to the internet where I was looking for… I didn’t know. Something that would lighten up a decision bulb in my head. And I found it! Green smoothie challenge sounds just like exactly what I need to re energize myself for the whole day and to share this energy with my kids.
I have already tried some recipes posted on this website, and we loved it!
My thousand mile journey to the healthy eating habits seems to be almost over, and this is probably one of the last few steps for me. And I am very keen to make this steps.

I’ve been trying to add green smoothies to my diet over the past year or two, but it’s been pretty hit-or-miss. I jumped into the 30 day challenge to add some consistency to improving my diet and lifestyle! Love adding veggies everyday, especially if they taste good.

I am committing to the smoothie challenge because i am in need of natural boosts of energy. No more artificial sugar, diet sodas, triple shot lattes. Lets do this au natural. I can’t wait to feel the difference of the fruits and veggies! Wish me luck! Oh…and a new blender would be nice to 🙂

I am doing the challenge to really get focused on doing the smoothies every day. I have always focused on health so am very healthy. I am excited about adding this to my regiment of staying healthy. Since I am 62 I am really focusing on doing that which is healthy. I don’t have to take any meds and would like to keep it that way. So this is something that I am sooo happy to be doing.
Thank you for all that you are doing in helping us to be and stay healthy

30 days is the right amount of time to make something a habit. I love smoothies and often think after the fact, Oh, I could have/should have made a smoothie instead of . . . I like being part of a group and I find it helps me to be somewhat accountable when there are others doing the same thing(s) that I am. I also appreciate the encouragement and feedback from others.

I just started this challenge and boy, do I feel great! The ingredients aren’t too expensive at the store, and the taste is even more amazing than I thought it would be! Today, I am having the Simple Peach smoothie. Yummm!

The green smoothies taste good but are good for me too. More people are taking medicine instead of using food as their medicine and I am trying to change that.
