I’ve considered adding green smoothies to my diet for awhile. Now having been diagnosed with Lupus and kidney damage, I realize that I really need to start this now along with the DASH diet so that I can try to get the most benefit from adding more fruits and veggies in my lifestyle.

I recently had a minor health issue and was prescribed some antibiotics. It totally destroyed my stomach so this 30 day challenge will definitely get me and my gut back on track. Green smoothies make me feel awake, alive and energized…I want that feeling again.

I’ve been doing the green smoothies on and off for a few months. I havent done a challenge since the new year started and my body is paying for it. Im an emotional eater and have gained so much weight. My nutribullet doesn’t work like it use to so Ive been saving for a new blender. This contest if I win will help so much. I’m tired all the time I feel sluggish so its time to get back to loving my body more then I love Pizza

I’m committed to the smoothie challenge as a way to jumpstart better nutrition now that spring is here. It’s harder to drink smoothies when it’s cold and snowy outside! But no excuses this time of year!

My son started a gfcfsf diet for his autism, once I saw how simply by eating better he started to improved (I mean I saw better results in one month that I did for 1 year!), I realize how important food is for your overall health, so I decided to do a real effort and start eating better!

I never loved anything green as a drink. I was overweight and my stomach was looking really awful. I decided to tried the green smoothie diet with some friends last year. We did it for 7 days and I was amazed at the results. I lost 6lbs and 3 inches off my waist.
I’m committed to the 30 day challenge because I’m focused on the end results!!

I have had to go on the GF diet for health reasons and I am trying to heal a leaky gut. My friend told me about smoothies and let me try hers 2 days ago. My blender isn’t a good one but I tried making one. It was a lot like apple sauce instead of a drink. I am going to continue to attempt to make one everyday, but would love to have a GReaT blender to help make it a smooth smoothie instead of Apple Sauce. Thanks so much for teaching me about Smoothies and the can’t hardly wait until I get the recipe cards to make them Delicious.

Two years ago, I had a nervous breakdown, my life was in turmoil and so was my body. Since then I’ve taken many steps to improve both my mental a physical health and I’ve been successful so far. I was already a vegan (7 years, *high five*!), but was looking for a way I could get a great shot of fresh fruits and vegetables into my day, and I think this is it! My busy grad student life can make it really hard to find time to prepare lots of healthful meals, but making smoothies is a breeze 😀 I’m super excited to be part of the community and to encourage others to make just one healthy change to their diet.

My first green smoothie challenge was January 2013, and I’ve never looked back! Although I always squeeze in a few smoothies a week, the 30 challenge brings my focus back to the benefits of (at least!) 1 green smoothie a day. April is the perfect month to reset-Spring flavors, sunshine, extra time outdoors running & playing with the kids-all enhanced by the health benefits of a green smoothie. I feel good about myself and my kids get a 1st hand example of healthy habits. Wins all around!

To shed some weight and to feel better. I suffer from joint pain as well, mostly in my knees. I decided to do 2 smoothies a day, snack in between with nuts, fruits or a salad and eat a sensible meal. All done before 6:30 in the evening. Since I have started these challenges I can’t go without a smoothie I have to have one before the day is over.

I’m doing the 30 day challenge (along with my fiance and my best friend!) because I want to implement more daily healthy habits! I own an online business, which means I sit, a lot. And it’s starting to show! So lately I’m making sure I exercise each day, and now I will start having a Simple Green Smoothie every day for lunch! (Now if I could just start drinking it away from my desk…)

    Thanks ladies! You Rawk!

I am committing to a green smoothie every day because I am trying to transition from a meat eat to a vegan for health reasons. So far I have been experimenting with fruit veggies and I think green smoothies are an awesome source of more nutrients and veggies I need in my system!

I’m a stay at home mom to three beautiful kids; two boys (Brett age 6, Drake are 2) and Clare who is 11 months. Most days are slammed pack with taking care of them, the house, and homeschooling my oldest. I’m doing this challenge to gain energy, alertness, be healthy, gain confidence in myself, and show my kids how to be healthy. I want to be a mom and wife that my kids and husband look up to. Plus losing that baby weight would be awesome. I look forward to becoming a Rawkstar!

I am committed to this April 30 day challenge because this is one way I know for sure that I am getting in veggies and fruits each day. Also my 11 yr old daughter just got an expander put in at the roof of her mouth to expand her jaw and also prepare for braces. She will have this expander in for about 2 months hopefully and everything she eats has to be soft and easy for her to swallow. So having healthy smoothies every day I know for sure she is getting all veggies and fruits. Plus a life style change in eating for the both of us as well.
