Can I tell you something?
I still take notes with pen and paper, and doodle all over them. I keep track of events and to-do’s in a physical planner. I subscribe to 8 wonderful print magazines and look forward to reading every single page, beginning with the last page first. I struggled to put down The Food Babe Way and go to sleep at night. I wanted to keep absorbing Vani’s wisdom! She shares her journey of becoming The Food Babe, and ways we can make healthier choices in any circumstance. Some are super simple (like buying more organic foods), and others are more complicated (like thinking about how to purify the water you use when showering).

    My #1 struggle is keeping a balance of enough variety and quantity of fresh “live” food on hand and to use it before it starts to spoil.

    One of my biggest struggles is knowing what to choose when eating out. When I’m traveling and need to grab something quick, I don’t know what to pick.

    My biggest struggle is stress eating – I like crunchy or fattening foods like cheesy nachos or pizza. I work at night, so my schedule gets thrown off and so do my good eating habits and energy to prepare quality food consistently.

    My most challenging thing for me is staying away from junk food, like chocolates, salty chips, cookies. Who ever invented those horrible treats, anyway? I am so suckered into this crap! And my will power is out the door! I love what Vani is doing, and I’d love to win her book! Thanks for the opportunity to win this book!

    My biggest challenges are portion control and using food as a tool for dealing with stress.

    At times of stress, I tend to eat huge amounts of food, and the food I choose to eat is without fail the worst food for my mind and body. It’s food (like chocolate bars, etc) that I don’t even enjoy. It doesn’t make sense!

    I think it’s because it provides a distraction to my cause of stress and gives me a reason to be angry and disappointed to myself. It’s a form of self hatred.

    One of my biggest struggles is time management. I have to be better and more consistent with preparing and making my smoothies and juices.

    My biggest struggle is fighting cravings. It’s been a difficult process and I constantly work on figuring how I can substitute healthier foods to stop cravings. Snacking and sweets are what gets me in trouble, but the green smoothies are definitely helping with that!

    My biggest healthy eating challenge? Right now, massive sugar/sweet cravings that I keep giving in to.

    The hardest thing for me is to find good tasting healthier substitutes to the not-so healthy foods that I sometime crave like pizza, fries and burgers. Sometimes you find healthier recipes for these but to the taste, they aren’t really good.

    My biggest issue is staying away from sugary lattes and I need to be better at trying new healthy meals at dinner time.

    Biggest struggle is parties or gatherings. Either when attending them or hosting at home. I try to make healthy choices and try to offer them when I host but it seems like party food should not be healthy food. And it seems every time you turn around there is some sort of gathering around food. I live in the South so every event will have a spread of food!! 🙂

    Biggest challenge is creating healthy meals for my picky eaters (children) on a tight budget that they will eat and that I can eat too!

    My biggest struggle has been a binge eating disorder I’ve had for years now, and those cravings for tons of carbs and sugar, plus not really liking greens much!

    The number one struggle I have with eating healthy is the cost factor; perhaps that’s regarding pre-prepared natural smoothies/meals.

    My biggest struggle with eating healthy is actually eating! I have a two-month-old son, and I get so wrapped up in taking care of him that it’s supper time before I know it, and I haven’t even had lunch yet! That’s why I even started drinking green smoothies to begin with- to make sure I was getting some good nutrition habits I can pass on.
