The Food Babe Way Book Giveaway! {CLOSED}

Can I tell you something?
I still take notes with pen and paper, and doodle all over them. I keep track of events and to-do’s in a physical planner. I subscribe to 8 wonderful print magazines and look forward to reading every single page, beginning with the last page first. And I love ending my night getting all cozied up with a good book in my hands.
j
The past week, I’ve been cozying up with The Food Babe Way. This is a book after my own heart (I am passionate about knowing what’s in our food).

Fun fact: Vani’s a green smoothie rawkstar, just like us. But that’s not all— this amazing woman is transforming the food industry from the inside out— Subway, Kellogs, Starbucks, Chick Fil A, and many more have invested in better ingredients in their foods thanks to Vani). We all get to benefit from her food activist work.

    My biggest challenge is finding time to cook the healthier foods I want to be eating.

    I struggle with time. Convenience foods are just that:: convenient. Life is so very busy and I guess I’m always looking for a quickie answer/solution. Things need to change soon ~ blood work shoes some issues…

    I struggle with being organised, putting myself first and information overload. I often spend too much time on websites and social media finding delicious healthy recipes and reading what I should be putting in my body then I forget where I read what when it comes to shopping for ingredients.

    I used to have the same problem but now use Evernote (free) and copy paste everything in it, easy to pull up on phone/ipad/computer wherever I am

    Cost of healthier foods and keeping fresh the entire week. It has not helped in losing weight despite being a faithful participant for over 3 weeks.

    I lack imagination, and find myself struggling to keep on track because my poor old taste buds get jaded with the same old thing.

    Bad habits are easier, more familiar and more widely accepted by my office mates, colleague and friends. To dare to be different is liken to social suicide no matter what the reason.

    I am trying to be an organ donor, by changing my eating habits, taking on more physical fitness pursuits and not consuming alcohol, my social and networking invitations have plummeted.

    I often feel alone on my journey to a healthier life.

    Time! I have such good intentions of finding healthy recipes, planning delicious healthy meals each week, making healthy snacks for my family…but then time slips by and I grab something quick, which is never quite as healthy.

    I get overwhelmed trying to decipher which guidelines i should follow. there is so much information available i have trouble finding a routine that i can stick with – gluten free/dairy free/vegetarian/vegan/organic/non gmo. you hear so much don’t eat this don’t eat that, that it becomes hard to make a simple healthy decision.

    I struggle for time. I work 3 jobs and have a teenager to run around. I usually try for fast and easy. (Not always the best choice.)

    It’s all about the time for me. I work full-time, I workout A LOT, and I’m also in the Air Force Reserves (which ends up taking more of my free weekends than it should.) If I don’t have a few hours of good shopping and prep time for the week, then that week is all about quick, easy, not-as-healthy-as-I-would-like meals.

    My biggest problem is not eating healthy, my problem is eating too much. I skip breakfast and lunch most days, by the time dinner time comes I am starving, so I stuff my face. I do love smoothies and green juices. I really wish I had the time to organize my meals. Can you maybe give me some ideas? Thank you
