Can I tell you something?
I still take notes with pen and paper, and doodle all over them. I keep track of events and to-do’s in a physical planner.     I struggle at find health things the whole family will eat.

    We don’t have any set schedules around our house. My husband is on duty 24/7 365. He goes to work when the phone rings, so we are on the run a lot to get things done. So, it makes it difficult to stay on track with healthy eating and being committed.

    My struggle with eating healthy is my husband cook and when he’s cooking I’m always correcting him on what goes in the pot or not as a result he chase me out of the kitchen. An many time I just crave something I know it’s not health and I go for it.

    The biggest struggle I have is when I don’t get sufficient support from the people around me. I like to eat healthy and clean and I would like to encourage my family members to do so. However, my family members would feel unhappy that I do not eat the food that they cook during meal times and they do not agree with my stand in eating healthy, and discourage me about eating healthily and ‘differently’ from them. The discouragement and negativity that I receive is a form of struggle to me to healthy eating.

    My number one struggle with healthy eating is keeping things fresh. I tend to buy the same staple items at the grocery store, but after a week of the same meals I always am on the hunt for a great tasting meal. That usually leads to me eating out, and although I search for the healthiest options I know it would ideal to prepare my food at home.

    Our biggest struggle with eating whole foods is being social:). We love to have a good meal at a restaurant with friends, and in our town plant based food is hard to find. Our plan after the 21 day cleanse is to try to stick to more vegetarian restaurants ! I hope to also be brave and ask for to plant based options that are not necessarily on the menu.

    I’m not alone in the struggle to eat well when traveling, especially for business. I travel to small towns where fast food seems to rule. I take food with me and that works for short trips. Longer trips are a real challenge.

    My number one problem is preparation. I’m usually not prepared to eat healthy; which results in me eating foods that are bad for me, like chips, cooks, and others goodies out of the vending machine.

    I find that keeping snacks for the kids is difficult. We have smoothies, apples with cheese, bananas with peanut butter…but sometimes the kids just want something to munch on, and our standbys get old. Sometimes they want something fun like tortilla chips with salsa and guacamole, cereal bars or goldfish.

    My number one problem with not eating right is hunger!!!! Lol. I guess maybe it’s time really. I am just sooo hungry when I get home from work. I have good intentions in the car ride. Then it’s stuffed into the mouth before I can think much about it.

    Being prepared! As hard as I try, sometimes it is just easier to grab fast food. My work day is so busy that coming home and preparing meals is the last thing I have the energy for.

    Having quick and healthy meals assembled and ready in the freezing for my husband to make on evenings when I’m working. i am the primary grocery shopper and cook. Many evenings there are leftovers to eat, but if I’m on a string of evenings I find my family tends to resort to frozen processed foods or fast food. I’m working on how to assemble meals that are quick and easy to prepare.

    My number 1 struggle with healthy eating isn’t so much time or motivation, it’s my arch enemy SUGAR!! All too often I allow this to undermine my healthy eating habits. I’m not talking about fruits… it’s chocolate, cookies; things like that. But MAN, do I love my green smoothies! Just had a strawberry, blackberry, kale and pineapple juice one. Yummy!

    I struggle non-stop with eating healthy all day. My family likes to eat the foods that lack color. I like to eat with every color. I usually lose the battle when my hubby says, let’s have pizza for dinner. I cannot resist…

    Having 3 kids, working full time, caring for and elderly mom and teaching exercise is tough. Taking the time needed for me can be a challenge

    I’d say it’s costly and that is my struggle right now; finances. I prefer to eat healthfully and get excited about it and love-love-love my green smoothies! I haven’t gone but a few days without one since I took your challenge 2 years ago, so I know that at least once a day I’m getting good nutrition : )

    I have 3 kids a 7 year old boy and 3 year old twins that keep me very busy. I don’t cook as healthy as i should have because my boy and husband don’t like it very much. And o cook with lots of fat because one of my girls is low on weight and they want me to feed her all the fat I can. My twins were born early and because of that I have a lot of Dr appointments for one and so I’m very busy and stop by for fast food to eat on my way back.
