Description

Start your day off right with this simply amazing overnight oats recipe. 


Ingredients

Scale

Base:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon flaxseed meal
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

Optional toppings #1

  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 tablespoon sliced almonds
  • 1 tablespoon mini chocolate chips
  • 12 teaspoons maple syrup

Optional toppings #2

  • 12 teaspoons strawberry jam
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1/4 cup diced strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon sliced almonds

Optional toppings #3

  • 12 teaspoons blueberry jam
  • 1/4 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Optional toppings #4

  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp honey

Instructions

  1. Mix all the base ingredients in a bowl
  2. Cover bowl and refrigerate overnight
  3. Remove bowl from fridge and top with desired toppings
  4. Enjoy!

Notes

You can sub any kind of plant milk for the almond milk.

You can swap in honey for the maple syrup.
