Who’s ready to try this green smoothie recipe from our beloved friend Vani, the Food Babe?!
Vani’s a green smoothie rawkstar, just like us. But that’s not all— this amazing woman is transforming the food industry from the inside out— Subway, Kellogs, Starbucks, Chick Fil A, and many more have invested in better ingredients in their foods thanks to Vani). We all get to benefit from her food activist work.
This is the green smoothie recipe that Vani recommends to everyone that’s a part of the Food Babe community. She packs in extra greens with kale and celery, and the pineapple + grapefruit combo balance each other perfectly.
- 1 cup fresh kale
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 large stalks of celery (chopped)
- 1/4 cucumber (chopped)
- ⅓ grapefruit
- 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
- Blend kale and water until smooth.
- Add remaining ingredients, and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
*Use frozen fruit to make smoothie cold.
