We call green smoothies the healthiest fast food, because they are super easy to prep + blend, then drink right away or pack up for a busy day. Green smoothies are the very best if consumed immediately after blending, since fruits and veggies start to oxidize after 15 minutes, yet we know that doesn’t always happen. You can store your smoothie in an air-tight container (glass jars w/ lids are our fav!), and then refrigerate up to 2 days, or freeze and thaw when ready to consume.     I like the idea of ”Beginner’s Luck” because it’s fast and simple plus it doesn’t require remembering a lot of ingredients. I also tried the banana chocolate one (with a few adjustments) and it was very energizing! I was really surprised at the energy I felt immediately after drinking it. All the recipes look spectacular!     While the chocolate banana smoothie looks amazing, this is something I already make – excited to try the anti-inflammatory smoothie. I have lots of travel coming up this next month and I always feel worn down and bloated afterwards!

    I want to try Tropical Turmeric Cleanser smoothie because of the liver cleanse. I’m also hoping it helps to reduce swelling in my knee. Thank you for the info!!

    I have a chronic illness that makes inflammation a common thing in my life. I’m looking forward to trying the anti-inflammatory smoothie (and maybe the turmeric one too!) to give my body an extra boost at keeping my illness at bay.

    Another thought – do you have to worry about the avocado in smoothies browning if you make it the day before?

    Cannot wait for you to try this smoothie! Your smoothie might brown a little from the avocado but if you put a couple drops of lemon juice in it, it will help preserve the color.
