So, I made this seasonal reset to kick my (and your) butt into gear + get my tastebuds excited about eating food that’s good for my body and soul.

What to expect from a reset:

Breakfast + Lunch

During the Thrive Summer Reset, you take detoxing to the max by drinking the same smoothie for breakfast and lunch. This also saves some time in the kitchen!

For the 1-Day Reset, blend this entire recipe, drink half and save the other half for lunch in the fridge or a cooler.


CHERRY LEMONADE GREEN SMOOTHIE  //  SERVES 2

Ingredients:
2 cups spinach, fresh
2 cups coconut water, unsweetened
2 cups cherries, frozen
1 green apple, cored
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons chia seeds

Directions:
1. Blend spinach and coconut water until smooth.
2. Add remaining ingredients and blend again.

AM + PM Snack

The Thrive Summer Reset snacks are the secret weapon to this week-long detox. Some detox programs feel more like a starvation diet… but not ours! You EAT while going through Thrive, and the nutrients do all the work to energize your body and flush out the bad stuff.

For the 1-Day Reset, make this entire recipe so you can snack on these delicious “donuts” mid-morning and mid-afternoon.


APPLE CINNAMON “DONUTS”  //  SERVES 2

Ingredients:
2 green apples, cored and cut into 1⁄4-inch rings
2 tablespoons almond butter
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
OPTIONAL: Top with shredded coconut, hemp hearts, sliced strawberries or bananas

Directions:
1. Stir cinnamon and vanilla extract into the almond butter.
2. Spread a thin layer of the almond butter on one side of each apple ring.
3. Sprinkle with desired toppings and eat immediately.

Dinner

You make a flavorful and filling dinner each evening during the Thrive Summer Reset. These dinners are filled with the exact nutrients your body is craving to help you gain energy, lose weight, and detox impurities.

For the 1-Day Reset, make this recipe for dinner where we swap pasta for “zoodles” (zucchini noodles)… your taste buds will thank you!


ALMOND BUTTER AND VEGGIE ZOODLES  //  SERVES 1

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon melted coconut oil
2 tablespoons green onions, sliced diagonally into 1/2” pieces
1/2 cup broccoli, cut into small florets
1/4 cup red bell pepper, sliced
1/2 cup carrots, thinly sliced
1 medium zucchini, spiralized
Red pepper flakes, for sprinkling
OPTIONAL: Sesame seeds, for sprinkling

For Sauce:
2 tablespoons full-fat coconut milk, unsweetened
2 tablespoons almond butter
1 tablespoon tamari
1 teaspoon maple syrup
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, finely grated
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 garlic clove, finely minced

Directions:

1. Whisk sauce ingredients together in a medium bowl and set aside.
2. Heat oil in large pan. Add the green onions and saute for 1-2 minutes, then add broccoli, carrots, and red bell pepper. Lower heat if needed. Cook until vegetables are bright in color and just barely tender.
3. Toss gently to coat the veggies with the sauce. Let simmer to thicken the sauce.
4. Remove from heat and serve immediately on top of the zoodles. Garnish with red pepper flakes and sesame seeds if desired.

Dessert

Yes, you get dessert every night of the Thrive Summer Reset! Just imagine that this slightly sweet +spicy beverage is a milkshake as you wind down for the evening. This is exactly what your body needs to keep the toxins moving out, and it also satisfies your sweet tooth cravings.

For the 1-Day Reset, make this recipe sometime between dinner and bedtime. Savor it. Sip it. Enjoy it.

Ingredients:
1 cup almond milk, unsweetened
2 teaspoons maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch cayenne

Directions:
1. Stir together maple syrup, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, and cayenne in the bottom of a mason jar. Add the almond milk.
2. Shake well to combine. Drink chilled.

I lost 11.5 pounds

I have been struggling to keep up with my family and work commitments, and slowly gaining weight. Thrive helped me ditch coffee, sugar, most dairy and carbs – thank you! My week on Thrive I lost 11.5 pounds and continued to lose for the rest of the month too. I have hope again!

I felt good before, but now I feel great!

I did the SGS Thrive 7-Day Reset to get out of my bad eating funk and to try to get new and better habits established. It did just that and more!
