Oh, this blueberry spinach smoothie is a good one! It's full of iron, potassium and vitamin C— and it tastes so good. My kids love it!
Equipment
high-speed blender
Ingredients
½
cup
spinach
1
cup
almond milk
½
cup
blueberries
½
cup
strawberries
1
banana
1
serving
homemade protein powder
optional
Instructions
Blend
spinach and milk until smooth.
Add
fruit and blend again.
Notes
You can swap blueberries for any berry you can find. I like to use pre-packaged frozen mixed berries to give it a strong robust flavor.
Make sure to use at least 1 frozen fruit for a refreshingly cool smoothie.
Swap almond milk with the plant milk of your choice, or swap with water.
To lower the natural sugar in this recipe replace 1 banana with 1/4 avocado or 1/4 cup frozen cauliflower.
