Learn how to make homemade tamarind straws by coating a straw with a mixture of date syrup and tamarind paste, then rolling it in Tajín seasoning. It's a fun and flavorful way to elevate a beverage.

Instructions
Mix:
In a small bowl, stir together date syrup and tamarind paste until smooth.
Coat:
Cover the top third of your straw with the mixture, leaving space to hold it cleanly.
Roll:
Roll the coated end in Tajín on a plate, pressing gently to help it stick.
Set:
Let sit for 20 minutes to set, then enjoy in a smoothie or
mangonada
.
