Fresh orange and chilled coconut milk give this spinach banana smoothie a bright, lightly tropical flavor, and a little frozen cauliflower makes it thick without any taste. Add a scoop of protein powder to bring it to 29g protein.
Pour the coconut milk into a blender. Add the spinach, peeled and sliced orange, banana and cauliflower. Blend on high until smooth, 45 to 60 seconds, adding a splash more liquid if it's too thick.
Add the protein powder, if using, and blend on low just to combine. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
Notes
Milk Swaps: If you're not a fan of coconut milk, use almond milk, oat milk or another non-dairy milk.
Vegan Swap: Use a plant-based protein powder in place of the whey.
Make It Thicker: Freeze the banana ahead of time for a colder, thicker smoothie.
Storing: Best fresh, but it keeps in a sealed jar in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Shake before drinking.
