I was surprised my whole family agreed to participate with me even the two little ones 3 and 5 years old. I really like all of the creamy dressings that don’t require dairy products. I would definitely make some of them again other than arugula ones. Now I know I don’t like arugula and family doesn’t either. I am so glad I participated In this challenge and get to eat new ingredients that I would never have tried on my own.
Plants rule!
Really enjoyed the variety of salads. They will come in handy when I’m feeling stuck in a rut. I also enjoyed the alternatives to dairy and other ingredients.
Slinging salads
I loved the challenge. I jumped in to develop some ‘in-the-kitchen’ accountability and discipline for myself. I did that! Committed and rawked all 10 days! My only critique would be too many different ingredients everyday particularly for single person or servings. Still all good! My favorite recipes interestingly were the Lemon Arugula & Kale Caesar yumminess. Overall the fresh crisp flavor profiles were so enjoyable. Loved intro to the fennel. My cool rawkstar accomplishment was making the Cashew Garlic Aioli which was super delicious. Thanks Jen Team & Sponsors for this rawsome experience. I will continue to enjoy plant-based eating and following SGS. Let me go make my last day salad into a yummy smoothie!
Rawkin’ Rawkstar Challenge
I really enjoyed the 10-day challenge! It challenged me to step out of my comfort zone in preparing new things for myself and my family. I tried new things including some unique vegetables to our family and we ate more vegetables then we typically eat. Many of the recipes were delicious and we will enjoy them on a regular basis in the future. Thanks for the opportunity!

A REAL “Rawkstar” Challenge!
As we have entered Spring this challenge allowed me to embrace a new beginning. The ten days allowed me to create a pattern and feel the affects of a greener diet. More energy, new tastes, and a feeling of accomplishment. Many of the salads introduced new ingredients like tahini, barley, and arugula for me. Like Spring I am empowered to continue blooming with new risks in taste and continue to create a new healthier me!! Thank you!

Eating healthy
Even though I fell behind in the posting of my 10-day salad Challenge, I still completed it. I loved how it feel. It was what I needed to give me a boost. I have to say the Bright Berry Salad would b my favourite. I never thought of putting them all together and adding a dressing. I love challenges and I love SimplyGreenSmoothies. Wintering in Mexico promotes a healthy lifestyle which was complemented by this salad challenge. Hubby was a reluctant participant until he tasted the salads now he’s the biggest supporter! My biggest learning curve was making my own dressings. These were all delicious & surprisingly easy to make. No more Kraft dressings for me!!

I love Simple Green Smoothies and have done 2 of the cleanses, so I was totally on board for the salad challenge. I thought I knew a lot about plant based eating, but of course I learned some awesome new skills that I will bring with me. I liked all of the salads, and LOVED the majority of them. But the big winner was the vegan kale Caesar. That dressing!!! That was AMAZING!! Thanks again for this cool idea. It’s a lot of prep but I love being able to buy and make the salads myself, over and over. And I feel great, too.
