I loved the variety of recipes to make great tasting smoothies that arenโt your boring usual ones. I appreciated the look at the nutrition and the benefits of each ingredient. The swap suggestions in the recipes were really helpful too! I struggle with having enough time for breakfast in the morning, but being able to make delicious smoothies quickly and being able to drink those at my desk is a huge win for me!
I loved getting the shopping list early, and being prepared. I did sub a few things, but it was neat to see how different they tasted. It’s a great time to year to try this! A couple of them will be made several times this summer, I’m sure!
Smoothies have been a part of my diet for many years. This challenge isnโt my first. I have been off my game for a while due to life stresses Iโm doing this challenge to help get me back on track, to make healthy choices and take care myself before taking care of others. Having my daily smoothie helps me make better choices throughout the day. I have been feeling so much better since starting this challenge.
I found this smoothie and hydration challenge to be the perfect start to the summer. So many delicious smoothies that really transported me back to memorable vacations. It was fun trying new smoothies I had not had before. Jen Hansard amazes me every time we do a challenge. When I think I have had every smoothie there is to be had, she breaks out some new ones I have never had, and they are ALWAYS delicious. I don’t think I’ve ever had a smoothie I didn’t like created by her! I love making up batches of her smoothies, freezing them, and having them ready for consumption. I usually make about 14+! They are fantastic to have made up and ready to go on days I haven’t had a chance to make anything else to eat for lunch or dinner. Plus, with summer here, they are just refreshing to have on hot days without guilt, because they are so good for you nutritionally. Another bonus, smoothies really help you meet your water needs. I really appreciate the work Jen puts into each of her recipes to make sure they are nutritionally sound and healthy. I don’t have to think about it!!! Highly recommend

The challenge was fun and inspiring. I had gotten away from making smoothies and it was so refreshing getting back into it. I felt really good about adding more fruits and vegetables to my diet. I really love the cauliflower hack, as it gave the smoothies that milkshake like consistency. I did the 5 day challenge. I enjoyed all the smoothies. I have looked at a lot of your recipes and am interested in following a plant based diet. I haven’t been totally doing it but want to get better at it.
I got stuck making the same smoothies over and over. Life got challenging, and I got stuck doing the same morning routine. Thank you for helping get me out of my rut. I know having differing foods in my diet is helpful to overall health, sometimes we just need that push from an amazing community:)

This challenge helped me try new ideas for smoothies. Iโm always winging my smoothies with basically the same ingredients. And even though they turn out good they tend to taste somewhat the same. I had the opportunity to try new combinations and they were amazing!

Since you first showed making a smoothie with cauliflower a while ago, I always wanted to try it but never did. This challenge actually had me buy some and make a smoothie with it!! Couldnโt tell there was cauliflower in it at all. Now Iโm making sure I always have a bag of frozen cauliflower in my freezer!!! Thank you!

Tastes like dessert for breakfast
This was a wonderful smoothie challenge and Jen makes it so fun and easy. She provides all the recipes with beautiful pictures , shopping lists, substitution’s and will answer questions to help you make the best smoothies.
Makes me want to try more smoothies on my own instead of just buying them somewhere. Helps keep me focused on what I should be doing in my diet.

Making all the smoothies this week gave me the opportunity to eat/drink plenty of fruit every day. They each had great flavor and were very satisfying.
I always love trying both the new recipes and the old favorites (looking at you Best Green smoothie my all-time go-to). My watermelon smoothie came out kind of gritty (I’m sure due to operator error and not quite ripe enough watermelon with baby seeds). It needs a little tweaking on my part. I loved the Mango smoothie, and was a little surprised the cherry smoothie wasn’t sweeter. It was really good, just not quite what I was expecting. It was my granddaughter’s favorite. The Strawberry Protein Shake was yummy and felt like cheating. So good! I don’t always stick to a healthy diet, but I do listen when my body starts craving vegetables and fruits. Then I pull out my binder of your recipes and start blending smoothies, making overnight oats and chia puddings, and indulge in some of your wonderful salads and soups.
I loved this challengeโ I recently got the green smoothie book and this was a great continuation of my smoothie journey. Every message was so positive and wholesome!! It really brightened my days ๐
