Wonderful challenge
I absolutely loved this 10 day salad challenge! It was a great way to try new and different salads, I have to say every one was a winner! My husband and I have been trying to eat cleaner and greener this year and this was a perfect way to compliment that journey. Love is GREEN!
I had stopped eating salads as I got bored with them. But this 10 day challenge made it simple and tasty for me too get back into eating salads again. Even my mom enjoyed it to as we shared the salads. We both will continue adding a salad to our meals every day. My mom even had better bowel movements during the last 10 days. Thank you for the challenge.

I have been doing these SGS cleanses, resets and challenges for almost a year now and I always look forward to the next one. This salad challenge reminded me that salads are not always composed of leafy greens and really expanded my horizons. My 17 yr old daughter even agreed to do it with me this time! Our favorites were the taco salad (she used ranch dressing instead of the cashew cream though) and the pasta salad. I also really enjoyed the strawberry mixed greens. My daughter’s least favorite was the vegan potato salad and the lemon arugula salad. She’s decided she doesn’t like arugula! I’m thankful to have tried new things that I never would have tried without this challenge. Looking forward to the spring cleanse up next!!!
Salads for days…10 days, that is!
I loved this 10-Day Salad Challenge. It was exciting to try some different salad and dressing ideas. I especially loved the strawberry dressing – so fresh tasting with the basil. I’m a big kale lover so the Kale Caesar Salad is a new favorite. I loved the walnut ‘meat’ in the taco salad, and the potato salad is a new go to. Thanks for the challenge. Greens are Great
I loved this challenge! I enjoyed most of the salads but really what I loved is I was able to be introduced to new foods (hello cashew cream and walnut taco “meat”!) in a way that felt super easy and not intimidating at all. I tried to make most of the recipes as written to really see if I would like them but having the substitutions and reading what others did via the fb group encouraged me to experiment and do what felt fun and sounded tasty. I tackled things that I’ve always found intimidating including making my own dressings and now I don’t think I can ever go back to store bought. I am happy I’m ending this challenge not just with new recipes but some fun ideas for combining new flavor profiles and more confidence to not overthink food and simple can still be really satisfying. I also love that I’ve found great ways to reduce the meat consumption of my family and can provide tasty, filling options that they love.
Fun salad science experiments
I haven’t had time to make salads each day but I love the recipes and have already discovered new flavor combinations. I’ll be making 2 today! The shopping list has been useful and the multiple ingredient preparation ideas. Saves a lot of time and gets me using raw veg more often when they are all cleaned ahead of time. I sanitize too with a white vinegar/filtered water mix suggested by Consumer Reports. I’m planning to grow some of the veg and berries at home this year. Organic produce is very important to me.
Unusual and delicious salads
I realized quickly that I do not eat enough fruits, vegetables and greens. Now, I put them in smoothies, soups, and sandwiches. I try to eat a salad three times per week. My digestion has improved and I feel so much healthier. I have lost weight with these dietary changes and will strive to continue this for life!
Filling My World With Green
I loved the creative flavors and salads shared each day. Even though they were not all favorites at my house, I enjoyed stepping out of my norm and trying something new. And I *did* discover some new faves along the way! The support group was super encouraging and it was fun to see everyone’s pics of their salad of the day. I will keep some of these recipes on rotation and it’s my goal to keep eating a salad at lunch each day!
Delicious recipes and healthy habits
I thought the salad challenge was well laid out. I appreciated the shopping list to ensure everything stayed fresh. The recipes were fun and unique. There was variety and things I hadn’t tried. I love pasta salads, so that was probably my favorite. There were a couple recipes I had to tweak due to dietary restrictions, but overall, it was a success. I fully expect to continue using some of these recipes on a more regular basis.

Super Salads
Joining the challenge got me out of my daily eating rut and forced me to create new foods and ways to fix salads. As a vegetarian it is easy to slip into fast, easy, and sometimes repetitive preparations. All the recipes and ideas were easy to make substitutions to for allergies or dietary restrictions. It was very organized and I loved having a shopping list so I knew exactly what was needed and was prepared. Looked forward to trying each new recipe and idea.
Eating Better Everyday
Loads of fun experiencing new salad recipes and making dressings to boot! The best was having my spouse agree to do this challenge with me and much to my chagrin he loved the salads too! Who knew this would be the case?!! So happy he ventured out of his born to do work me and says he loves salad and could eat one every day! After decades of marriage, he still surprises me! 😃😃
Chomp & go!
Our whole family loved participating in the 10-Day Challenge. My kids helped me shop for and prepare the salads. We loved trying new recipes that we wouldn’t normally have sought out. We don’t usually eat vegan, but we were excited to discover some new vegan recipes to add into our mix. It’s also great to have learned to make some delicious and beautiful salads that we can serve guests or bring to parties. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We are so grateful!
