I tried my best to follow as much as I could and what I did follow, I really noticed a difference with what I just consumed. Almost the best 10 days of my life!!
I was a little skeptical going into this, but what a fun challenge, and definitely got me out of my comfort zone to try some new foods as well! Favorite recipes: Vegan potato salad – I may never use mayo again! Sweet and Crunchy salad – the orange dressing was out of this world! Crunchy carrot salad – so easy, but also delicious! Will 100% be eating more salads on a regular basis thanks to this challenge. And getting in one mile a day proved to be a bit of a challenge – I work from home, and it rained for a lot of the challenge. Found out that I don’t walk around nearly as much as I thought I did! Learned that you can march in place during a phone conference 🙂 Definitely a great experience!
Great chance to try something new and creative!
Not sure about anyone else, but normally dread making or being asked to make a salad. I end up taking a short cut by purchasing a pre-made salad at the grocery. 6 months ago I totally dropped my healthy meal plan and exercise routine. I regained 18 lbs and was miserable. When the opportunity came up with the 10 day salad challenge and run the edge, I jumped in with both feet. It was everything I needed to return to healthy eating and moving. It was perfect timing because my husband was diagnosed with diabetes and the healthy salads was perfect for his diet. We signed up for the family plan at our local pool and now swim lengths 3 x a week. The salad challenge recipes are fabulous and got me out of the doldrums of the old salads that I had been making. My plan is to continue with plant based salads and a regular exercise routine. Thank you simply green smoothies and run the edge!
A New Salad Attitude
I really enjoyed this salad challenge. I didn’t follow along exactly, but I made every recipe. It was a little challenging finding the right ingredients, mainly the fruits. So I just swapped fruits around or changed out the green options. Still everything was delicious and I’m excited to have some great recipes to keep making and some wonderful dressing recipes.
Salad challenge
I really loved all the salads and was pleasantly surprised they were all so delicious, considering they are healthy too! My favorites were kale Caesar and the strawberry mixed greens! My waistline has slimmed a little in the last 10 days and I plan to keep making some of these my daily routine! ❤

Salads can feel monotonous or dull – it’s so nice to have yummy, adaptable recipes available. They taste great, which makes it fun to work toward health (and that’s the only sustainable way to do it and enjoy it!)

The recipes were easy to follow and produced a variety of salads I never even would have thought of trying. Each one was more delicious than the last. I’m hooked!
OMG! Even my husband loved them!!!
This salad challenge was really fun! My family is largely dairy-free, so it was great to get some recipes that I didn’t have to alter, or figure out substitutions. We didn’t love all of the recipes as written, but every one is worth trying again with some tweaks for our tastes. The Facebook support group and extra challenge to move each day were really helpful with accountability. Would definitely recommend to others, and I will be on the lookout for the other challenges (smoothie, soup, etc.).
Worth every penny!
This was a great challenge idea! Whenever I make salads, I tend to stick to the same types of ingredients, so it can feel monotonous at times. I love that this stretched me to try new things I usually wouldn’t try or have! I also like that it included both fruits and vegetables to make things more interesting. My favorite recipe was the strawberry mixed greens salad. All the recipes were approachable and I found some new regular recipes I can use for lunches or parts of dinner. I loved the smoothie challenges, so it’s nice to keep doing them, but for different meals! Thanks for all the great ideas!
New Salad Fanatic
This challenge came at a perfect time. My daughter and I decided to radically cut our consumption of meat products. We had been at it for about six weeks when the challenge started. What I was finding was many of the recipes I came across were very similar. This challenge had a great variety in taste and flavour. My favorites was the kale Cesar salad and the taco walnut meat salad. I did enjoy the berry salad from day 6 . Todays berry salad is for later today. I really enjoyed trying all the different ones. A few will stay in my repertoire for sure!
Becoming a Herbivore!
This was a tasty challenge. Many of the salads were amazing! Some I altered slightly to my taste. Salads are a great meal. There is so much you can do with salads and such a wide variety of thing that can be added to mixed greens to make an awesome meal. I actually looked forward to each days salad!

Best tasty challenge ever!
This was so much fun!!! It got me motivated to eat salad every day and try some really good recipes. Now I have a lot of the ingredients at home, so it won’t stop here. I’m excited to try new things to mix it up a little bit. My favorite is adding fruit to my salads and feta cheese with a greek dressing.
