30-Day Green Smoothie Challenge! - Simple Green Smoothies

The 30-Day Green Smoothie Challenge

We challenge you to drink one green smoothie a day… for 30 days.

All it takes is a blender, your favorite fruits, some dark leafy green veggies and 10 minutes in the kitchen daily. It’s hands down the healthiest fast food!

Two cups of fresh spinach never tasted so good…

During the 30-Day Green Smoothie Challenge, we’ll be sending you weekly emails with shopping lists, recipes and tips to initiate you into our Green Smoothie tribe. Not only are green smoothies super fast to make, they also taste amazing. (Just ask the 450,000+ green smoothie rawkstars on Facebook and Instagram!)

We have a rawkin’ green smoothie tribe that is passionate about spreadin’ the green smoothie love. We hope you join us! It all starts with the 30-Day Green Smoothie Challenge, yet it doesn’t end there. Green smoothies are a lifestyle habit that usually continues way beyond 30 days.

During the challenge, you should still eat regular meals and move your body. Heck, you can even still drink soda, eat ice cream and maybe even a bag of chips (we aren’t here to judge). Yet by the end of the 30 days, we have a feeling you aren’t gonna want all those things as much as you used to (and we’ll celebrate with you!).

Your body’s gonna be transformed from the inside out!

Get ready to crave real foods with natural vitamins and minerals that’ll truly nourish you.

We are passionate about helping you boost your energy, lose weight effortlessly, and make healthy eating a lifestyle— not a diet.

— Jen & Jadah

“I strayed from my diet and started eating breads, pasta, and a few processed foods and not doing my juicing and smoothies. I felt tired and trashed until your challenge got me back on track! I have stuck to it and your shopping lists were the bomb.”

— Bobbi Jo

“I’ve lost around 3 pounds and quite a few inches, all thanks to green smoothies. My fiancé and I used to be on the all-carbs-all-the-time plan, and now we can’t go a day without a green smoothie. Thank you for inspiring me to take this challenge!”

— Emily Shell (and Rodney)

“I’m certainly no chef, so the fact that the entire smoothie process from refrigerator to cleaning takes 10 minutes is delightful; feels like I’m getting away with something! I can feel the difference and now fit into a size smaller pants.”

— Rachel Camp

I strayed from my diet and started eating breads, This was my first Green Smoothie Challenge (or any challenge). I’m proud to say I completed it! I officially lost six pounds. I truly believe a big part of the weight loss is thanks to the smoothies. I got the vital nutrients my body was missing.

— Lindsay Willey

“I’m on day 41 of at least one green smoothie a day. It’s been an incredible experience for me and even more importantly…. I’m almost 5 months pregnant with my 3rd son yay! I needed this more than you know. So, thank you for everything you all do.”

— Krystal Smartt

“I went into it thinking I’d try it every now and then, but you guys made it super easy. I kept to it every single day. I’ve replaced lunch with a smoothie, and I don’t feel ravenous. I’ve lost the ten pounds I’ve been waiting to lose before baby #2!”

— Sylia Abadi

“The best part was seeing my kids beg for my smoothies. My oldest son, who is 3 1/2, has Down syndrome and he is one picky eater. But he loved these! I’m looking forward to keeping with the habit and sharing with my kids.”

— Tara Cherry

“This challenge has changed my life forever. I feel more energy, optimistic and healthy from the inside out. I’m planning on getting pregnant and wanted new healthy habits that nourish me. I’m more aware of what I eat and what is good for my body.”

— Saly Minier

The idea of drinking spinach was a turn off at first. I’ve tried several diets and get bored easily. Since starting the Challenge I’ve lost 10 pounds! I’m sleeping a lot better, have more energy, and make better choices when it comes to my other meals throughout the day!

— Amanda Landreth

I’ve been making green smoothies for a long time now, but always made the same thing. I signed up for the 30 day challenge and so far am loving the new recipes. I love having new ideas to try together instead of the same old thing. I am enjoying green smoothies again and am looking forward to keeping up this good habit beyond the 30 day challenge!

We recommend using “Lose It” or “My Fitness Pal” to keep track of this nutritional info!

Do you ever use Beets in your smoothies? If so, how? I bought a couple at the store, and I have no idea how to use them :-( I didn’t want to buy the canned/jarred ones because they all had added sugar and or salt!

When a receipe calls for a lime do I add the whole lime to the blender?

    • SGS Rawkstar Dan 4.8.2014 at 10:59 am #

Depends if it’s asking for the juice of the lime or whole lime—usually we will specify :-) If it doesn’t specify lime juice, then it’s most likely the full lime!

Hello there! I could have sworn I’ve been to this site before but after reading through some of the post I realized it’s new to me.
Anyhow, I’m definitely delighted I found it and I’ll be book-marking and checking back

  12. Samanta 4.2.2014 at 1:44 am #

I began yesterday and It was great!!!! Me and my husband with these two big “green” smoothies :-)
But I have a doubt.. What do you mean for “a cup” ??

    • SGS Rawkstar Dan 4.2.2014 at 10:32 am #

      Hi Samanta,
A cup is about 8 fluid ounces when it comes to liquid—about when large handful when it comes to leafy greens. A full peach, mango, or banana is about a cup. Hope this helps!

    Question !!!

Had my first smoothie today but it wasnt all green. I used spinach..strawberries…blueberries and it was more purple than anything. Tasted great but I want to make sure I am doing this right.

Please LET me know …. Thanks

    • Joseph 4.1.2014 at 7:30 pm #

That smoothie sounds awesome it was probably the grapes that changed the colour of it but the spinach was still in there nourishing your body!

      • Joseph 4.1.2014 at 7:30 pm #

        I meant blueberries*** sorry hah

Hello, I am just wondering if you already have sent out the first week email for April 1st – 30 day challenge? I did sign up about a week back but haven’t yet received first week’s email. Thanks, you are doing a great job!

  17. Chelsea 3.31.2014 at 3:53 pm #

Hey! I was wondering if the 2 cups of greens are packed or loosely filled? Thanks! So excited about this challenge!

    • SGS Rawkstar Dan 4.1.2014 at 6:13 am #

Packed! Do what’s best for you, though.

I’m really impressed with your writing skills as well as with the layout on your weblog.
Is this a paid theme or did you customize it yourself?
Anyway keep up the excellent quality writing, it’s rare to see a great blog like this one today.\

I believe what you published made a great deal of sense.
However, consider this, suppose you composed a catchier post title?
I ain’t suggesting your content is not solid., however suppose you added a post title
that makes people desire more? I mean 30-Day Green
Smoothie Challenge! – Simple Green Smoothies is kinda vanilla.
You might glance at Yahoo’s home page and note how they write news headlines to grab viewers to open the links.
You might add a video or a related pic or two to
grab readers interested about what you’ve written.

Just my opinion, it might bring your posts a little bit more interesting.

  21. Melinda 3.29.2014 at 8:44 am #

Going shopping today to get ready…getting my husband on board, too! Thank you!

I have been surfing online more than three hours these days,
but I by no means discovered any attention-grabbing article like
yours. It’s pretty price sufficient for me. In my view, if all webmasters and bloggers made just right content material as you did, the web will probably be a
lot more helpful than ever before.

  23. Leesa 3.28.2014 at 11:49 am #

I couldn’t wait…Went grocery shopping today and for some unknown reason there was an abundance of fresh leafy greens – so I bought them all (dino kale, purple kale, black kale, red chard & spinach). I think the stars were aligned since we don’t usually get that kind of good luck with produce here on an island off the East Coast of Canada in the winter! :) Made the Berry Cherry Jubilee with purple kale instead of spinach, and added a handful of almonds for protein. The kids and I drank it all up in a few minutes! Great after school snack idea – Thanks!

Does your site have a contact page? I’m having a tough time locating it but,
I’d like to shoot you an email. I’ve got some ideas for your blog you might be interested in hearing.
Either way, great website and I look forward to seeing it develop
    over time.
