During the 30-Day Green Smoothie Challenge, we’ll be sending you weekly emails with shopping lists, recipes and tips to initiate you into our Green Smoothie tribe. Not only are green smoothies super fast to make, they also taste amazing. (Just ask the 450,000+ green smoothie rawkstars on Facebook and Instagram!)

We have a rawkin’ green smoothie tribe that is passionate about spreadin’ the green smoothie love. We hope you join us! It all starts with the 30-Day Green Smoothie Challenge, yet it doesn’t end there. Green smoothies are a lifestyle habit that usually continues way beyond 30 days.

During the challenge, you should still eat regular meals and move your body. Heck, you can even still drink soda, eat ice cream and maybe even a bag of chips (we aren’t here to judge).     I’ve been making green smoothies for a long time now, but always made the same thing. I signed up for the 30 day challenge and so far am loving the new recipes. I love having new ideas to try together instead of the same old thing. I am enjoying green smoothies again and am looking forward to keeping up this good habit beyond the 30 day challenge!

    Hi i have been doing the smoothie challenge and i love it. I feel great since I have been doing them and I think it started a chain reaction because some of my friends are doing it. But I would just really like to know how many calories are in one serving l. Hope you can help and thank you.

    Hi!

    Do you ever use Beets in your smoothies? If so, how? I bought a couple at the store, and I have no idea how to use them :-( I didn’t want to buy the canned/jarred ones because they all had added sugar and or salt!

    When a receipe calls for a lime do I add the whole lime to the blender?

      Depends if it’s asking for the juice of the lime or whole lime—usually we will specify :-) If it doesn’t specify lime juice, then it’s most likely the full lime!

    I began yesterday and It was great!!!! Me and my husband with these two big “green” smoothies :-)
    But I have a doubt.. What do you mean for “a cup” ??

      Hi Samanta,
      A cup is about 8 fluid ounces when it comes to liquid—about when large handful when it comes to leafy greens. A full peach, mango, or banana is about a cup. Hope this helps!

    Question !!!

    Had my first smoothie today but it wasnt all green. I used spinach..strawberries…blueberries and it was more purple than anything. Tasted great but I want to make sure I am doing this right.

      That smoothie sounds awesome it was probably the grapes that changed the colour of it but the spinach was still in there nourishing your body!

    I believe what you published made a great deal of sense.
    However, consider this, suppose you composed a catchier post title?
    I ain’t suggesting your content is not solid., however suppose you added a post title
    that makes people desire more? I mean 30-Day Green
    Smoothie Challenge! – Simple Green Smoothies is kinda vanilla.
    You might glance at Yahoo’s home page and note how they write news headlines to grab viewers to open the links.
    You might add a video or a related pic or two to
    grab readers interested about what you’ve written.

    Just my opinion, it might bring your posts a little bit more interesting.

    I couldn’t wait…Went grocery shopping today and for some unknown reason there was an abundance of fresh leafy greens – so I bought them all (dino kale, purple kale, black kale, red chard & spinach). I think the stars were aligned since we don’t usually get that kind of good luck with produce here on an island off the East Coast of Canada in the winter! :) Made the Berry Cherry Jubilee with purple kale instead of spinach, and added a handful of almonds for protein. The kids and I drank it all up in a few minutes! Great after school snack idea – Thanks!
