It blends sweet mango, juicy orange, and creamy banana with a full cup of spinach—without tasting “green” at all. Why You’ll Love It
- This smoothie hits that sweet spot between fresh and filling. Coconut water keeps it light and hydrating, while frozen mango and banana give it natural sweetness and a creamy texture. The spinach blends right in, adding nutrients without changing the flavor.
- If you’re still learning how to make a smoothie, this recipe is simple, forgiving, and great for building confidence.
- Spinach is one of my favorite leafy green vegetables for smoothies because it has a mild flavor and blends smoothly. Pairing it with citrus fruits like orange helps brighten the flavor and makes the greens virtually undetectable.

Mango Orange Green Smoothie Ingredients

Recipe Tips
- If you ever find yourself with extra spinach, learning how to freeze spinach can save money and reduce food waste—plus frozen spinach blends beautifully.
- If your smoothie feels too thin, here are easy ways to make a smoothie thicker.
- This smoothie is perfect for advance prep. Turn it into freezer packs by portioning the fruit and spinach ahead of time. When you’re ready, dump everything into the blender, add liquid, and blend. I share more tips in my guide to frozen meal prep smoothie packs.

So yummy and takes me to an island!
Not my favorite. It left an aftertaste.
One of my favorites! Love the combo of mango and orange!
Very good & yummy!
I think this smoothie would taste better for me if I would of remembered coconut water in my grocery list lol
Added some hemp seeds and coconut oil as a post workout drink. Loved the flavor, didn’t like the orange skins. Will have to find nicer oranges 😀
Made it this morning. Very refreshing. I’m a day behind. So I will try to catch up and make day six smoothie for my nighttime snack if I feel hungry.
The flavors of this smoothie were delicious, I use frozen fruit, so it ended up being a little thicker than other (frozen fruit) smoothies. Would definitely try again but with a little less frozen fruit next time.
Feeling healthy with my daily smoothie….. so far they have been good.
Orange had continually been refreshing in smoothies.
Mango orange – Yum!!! Great tasting smoothie
Loved it. Felt like I was on a tropical vacation.
Day 5 – Mango Madness. I really enjoyed this one. The flavor was good, only 1/2 an orange. Love the coconut water. Also was feeling a cold coming on. After my smoothie and my multivitamin…All gone!!!
This one was the best one for me. We went back to work after a two week winter break and this smoothie took me up to lunch. No hunger pains
from being off schedule.

Withbthe ingredients Inused it was not bad. I substituted some frozen cranberries, frozen strawberries and an avacado for the mango, banana and orange. I also added some raw cauliflower and celery. I used less fruit and more vegetables. I used Organic super greens(spinach, kale, swiss chard and mizuna) in place of the spinach.
I added some cinnamon, MCT oil and a little NuttZo butter, 1 teaspoon Matcha, 1 Tablespoon full fat Greek yogurt.
