Why You’ll Love It
- This smoothie hits that sweet spot between fresh and filling. Coconut water keeps it light and hydrating, while frozen mango and banana give it natural sweetness and a creamy texture. The spinach blends right in, adding nutrients without changing the flavor.
- If you’re still learning how to make a smoothie, this recipe is simple, forgiving, and great for building confidence.
- Spinach is one of my favorite leafy green vegetables for smoothies because it has a mild flavor and blends smoothly. Pairing it with citrus fruits like orange helps brighten the flavor and makes the greens virtually undetectable.

Notes
- Use at least one frozen fruit to make the smoothie cold or serve over ice.
- Swap spinach for the leafy greens of your choice.
- Swap coconut water with regular water.
- Use a plant-based protein powder like my protein powder recipe to cut down on the natural sugar in this smoothie.

It was tasty, but I didn’t like the texture (my blender has a problem with oranges)
This smoothie had a bright citrus flavor.
Love this smoothie. It taste like the tropics!
I really loved this smoothie. Made it a meal replacement by adding rolled oats and almond butter. So yummy!!
Misjudged how much frozen mango I had when I started the challenge so I had to substitute peaches for mango in this recipe. It was still delicious though! Looking forward to trying this as it is supposed to be though and will be getting more mango soon.
Making sure I rated this recipe. I know I have commented already.
Yummie smoothie-love the orange citrus flavor and I will make this one again!
Love the coconut water in this smoothie, great combination with the fruit, It is incredibly refreshing and will make it a lot!
Nice fresh flavor. I used OJ instead of the orange.
Really liked the combination of flavors in this one. I’ll definitely be making this one again!
It was good but not a huge fan of the orange . May have been the actual orange that I added – it didn’t add any flavor in my opinion.
It was nice but I think I was expecting more mango flavour.
Enjoyed the flavor combination of this smoothie!
I like this one; light and easy to drink! Anything citrusy is great by me.
I like this one; light and easy to drink!
This was quite tasty
Love this combination! Yet another kid-approved smoothie! Thank you!
Mango madness was superb! The coconut water definitely added a twist to this drink. The orange, mango, & banana were perfect together. This combination made me feel like I was on vacation!
Well I decided since it was suggested to turn this smoothie into a meal replacement added rolled oats and since I did not have almond butter in the pantry decided to substitute with organic peanut butter smooth. It is a game changer adding this two ingredients first flavour wise turns into even more delicious and second it is really feeling with out the food coma after.
Great Idea thank you rawkstar club.
So yummy!! A quick escape to an island. Yum!
