This peach spinach smoothie screams summer and is the ultimate in refreshing green smoothies. It’s loaded up with heart-healthy dietary fiber and relies on refreshing fruits for its mildly sweet flavor. By the way, if you prefer a sweeter smoothie — feel free to add a banana, which is one of my favorite natural sweeteners that also adds more potassium and will make the smoothie creamy.

Peach Spinach Smoothie Ingredients

This is such a fun smoothie to make + sip! It’s the perfect post workout drink because it’s easy to make, with just 4 rawkstar ingredients:

Basically, this peach spinach smoothie is a powerhouse of wellness and uses low sugar fruits… plus it tastes delicious.

Green vs red grapes

Is there really a difference in nutrition between green and red grapes? The easy answer is… not really. If there’s one variety you like best, then go for it. Yet the darker in color the grape is, the more antioxidants it contains. So if that’s why your popping grapes, then aim for the darker red varieties.

I think green grapes are more tart, and pair well with the sweet peaches + tangy coconut water in this smoothie, so I typically blend those.

To peel or not to peel peaches

Depending on the type of blender you have, you may want to peel your peaches. Yet if your blender can handle the skin, then I def recommend keeping it. Many of the nutrients from peaches are found in that fuzzy skin, so taking it off causes you to lose some value. If you don’t have one, I highly recommend investing in one of these high-powered blenders for smoothies.

Green Smoothie Ingredient Swaps

As with any green smoothie, I want you to get all the benefits you can. If that means swapping out an ingredient for one you can more easily find, ingest, or grow, then go for it! Spinach can be swapped out for Swiss chard or baby kale. Peaches can be swapped for almost any other stone fruit (apricots, nectarines, plums), or mango. Swap coconut water out for plain water, or even brewed tea. Obviously the flavor + consistency will change based on the swaps you make, so if the blend doesn’t feel right, don’t be afraid to add in extra fruit or liquid for the perfect drink. Want to turn this smoothie into a meal replacement? Adding 1 serving of my homemade protein powder will boost this smoothie by 10 grams of protein. Freezing Ingredients for Smoothies

Peaches are great smoothie ingredients, yet they have such a short growing season. Honestly, I buy them by the crate at Costco and Trader Joe’s, then slice them up and freeze. This way I can use them throughout the year, and I know they were super ripe + fresh when frozen. When freezing, I slice peaches into wedges, then lay them out on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Freeze for 1 hour, then toss the wedges into a freezer-safe container for storage.

Did you know grapes are also great frozen? My kids love to eat frozen grapes for snacks in the summer, yet freezing them also makes them the perfect ‘fruit cube’ for smoothies. Just lay grapes out on a tray lined with parchment, freeze for 1 hour, then store in a freezer safe container.

If using frozen grapes in this smoothie, make sure to up the liquid to 3/4 a cup instead of 1/2. This is because grapes act as a liquid and a fruit in smoothies, but not when frozen. To save time, you can make my frozen meal prep smoothie packs for easy blending on busy mornings.

    good. but for some reason I needed to add a cup and a half of coconut water just to get it to blend???
    Tastes pretty good, but I think I would like more peach. Added hemp seeds to this one too.

    This is a very unique combo. Once I got used to the grape skins (didn’t use high powered blender) I totally loved this smoothie, peach flavor is subtle / I used a fresh peach. Next time I’m going to use frozen to see if I get more peach flavor.

    I have not tasted peaches in SO long. Replaced the grapes with cauliflower and added a little coconut milk for some highlighted peaches and cream! A real treat!

    Enjoyed the peach – used one of my frozen sliced peaches from this summer. I did need to substitute kiwi for the grapes and that gave this smoothie a nice tang of flavor!

    This might be a new favorite for me. There was sweetness but not overwhelming or the sugary sweetness. I froze my grapes which made blending more difficult but it still turned out good.

    Not a favorite this one.. Traded peaches for mangoes since i didnt have peaches, used a tea instead of coconut water..

    I used spinach, frozen peaches, & coconut but substituted strawberries & blueberries for the grapes. I, also, added 1/4 cup English, cucumber, 1/2 scoop protein powder, some collagen powder, 1 Tablespoon flax seed meal and 1/2 Tablespoon Almond butter.
    I really liked this one.

    I think this is my least favorite smoothie so far. Maybe needed more peaches, but I think it is the grapes that gave it the weird flavor for me. Not sure I’ll make this one again. ;-(

    This has been my favorite so far. I put kale in mine like I do all my smoothies. It was a nice balance of green and sweetness. I would definitely make this one again. I love the fact that these can be made with so many substitutions.

    Could really taste the spinach in this one for some reason, may have added more than the recipe called for perhaps. No matter, I enjoyed it regardless
