This peach spinach smoothie screams summer and is the ultimate in refreshing green smoothies. It’s loaded up with heart-healthy dietary fiber and relies on refreshing fruits for its mildly sweet flavor. By the way, if you prefer a sweeter smoothie — feel free to add a banana, which is one of my favorite natural sweeteners that also adds more potassium and will make the smoothie creamy.

Peach Spinach Smoothie Ingredients
This is such a fun smoothie to make + sip! It’s the perfect post workout drink because it’s easy to make, with just 4 rawkstar ingredients:
- Spinach– one of my favorite superfood leafy green vegetables packed with iron.
- Grapes– loaded with vitamins C and K, as well as nutrients that help keep the heart healthy.
- Peaches– rich in antioxidants, which help fight chronic disease and cancer.
- Coconut water– contains electrolytes, which aid in workout recovery.
Basically, this peach spinach smoothie is a powerhouse of wellness and uses low sugar fruits… plus it tastes delicious.
Green vs red grapes
Is there really a difference in nutrition between green and red grapes? The easy answer is… not really. If there’s one variety you like best, then go for it. Yet the darker in color the grape is, the more antioxidants it contains. So if that’s why your popping grapes, then aim for the darker red varieties.
I think green grapes are more tart, and pair well with the sweet peaches + tangy coconut water in this smoothie, so I typically blend those.

To peel or not to peel peaches
Depending on the type of blender you have, you may want to peel your peaches. Yet if your blender can handle the skin, then I def recommend keeping it. Many of the nutrients from peaches are found in that fuzzy skin, so taking it off causes you to lose some value. If you don’t have one, I highly recommend investing in one of these high-powered blenders for smoothies.

Green Smoothie Ingredient Swaps
As with any green smoothie, I want you to get all the benefits you can. If that means swapping out an ingredient for one you can more easily find, ingest, or grow, then go for it! Spinach can be swapped out for Swiss chard or baby kale. Peaches can be swapped for almost any other stone fruit (apricots, nectarines, plums), or mango. Swap coconut water out for plain water, or even brewed tea. Obviously the flavor + consistency will change based on the swaps you make, so if the blend doesn’t feel right, don’t be afraid to add in extra fruit or liquid for the perfect drink. Want to turn this smoothie into a meal replacement? Adding 1 serving of my homemade protein powder will boost this smoothie by 10 grams of protein. Freezing Ingredients for Smoothies
Peaches are great smoothie ingredients, yet they have such a short growing season. Honestly, I buy them by the crate at Costco and Trader Joe’s, then slice them up and freeze. This way I can use them throughout the year, and I know they were super ripe + fresh when frozen. When freezing, I slice peaches into wedges, then lay them out on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Freeze for 1 hour, then toss the wedges into a freezer-safe container for storage.
Did you know grapes are also great frozen? My kids love to eat frozen grapes for snacks in the summer, yet freezing them also makes them the perfect ‘fruit cube’ for smoothies. Just lay grapes out on a tray lined with parchment, freeze for 1 hour, then store in a freezer safe container.
If using frozen grapes in this smoothie, make sure to up the liquid to 3/4 a cup instead of 1/2. This is because grapes act as a liquid and a fruit in smoothies, but not when frozen. To save time, you can make my frozen meal prep smoothie packs for easy blending on busy mornings.

Peach Spinach Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 cup spinach
- ½ cup coconut water
- 1 cup grapes frozen
- ½ cup peach frozen

Grapes are not my fav in a smoothie so I substituted pineapple. Delicious!
I was a little hesitant (actually a lot hesitant) to make this because, well, grapes in a smoothie just didn’t sound good to me at all even though I love grapes. I was completely shocked at how good and refreshing this smoothie was. I couldn’t find peaches anywhere so I substituted mango and it tasted great!

Well, it’s a very green smoothie. I’m not a fan of it, I felt like I was drinking grass flavored water.
Peachy! 😉 I substituted in a few strawberries and blueberries because I didn’t have grapes. (I often end up eating all the grapes before getting to use them in a smoothie… love grapes!)
Absolutely lovely
I used a mix of green and black grapes in this smoothie! I was hesitant for this one at first, but it was good. I would definitely try making it again.
Take my feedback with a grain of salt as I had to substitute both fruits! I made this with dark cherries and mango instead. I liked it, but I liked it more after making it a meal replacement with a quarter of avocado and two tablespoons of hemp protein powder. I think it benefited from the thickening from those two. Even with the meal replacement additions it was a bit on the sweet side for me but still pleasant.

Delicious! I love grapes in my smoothies.
This smoothie was delicious and so fresh tasting. I used regular water instead of coconut water because that’s my preference. And hey anti-aging? Bring it on!
I used frozen grapes, but then needed to add more coconut water since it was too thick. I think using a ripe, fresh peach made it taste much more flavorful though! (Other peach smoothies that I have used frozen peaches with have been bland. I taste the peach in this one!) I also added the SGS protein powder and it really is fantastic. Not gritty, no aftertaste. I’m really impressed.
