Green smoothies are extremely versatile. They can be a snack. A meal. Or even a dessert. They satisfy the most vicious cravings and leave your body energized and nourished.

So rather than reach for the ice cream, why not make a green smoothie bowl or slurp on a popsicle? Read on to learn how to make this happen asap.

Note: You can always pour any regular green smoothie into popsicle molds and freeze. Yet if you want them super thick and creamy— you will want to follow our measurement suggestions below.

Cream Machine Green Smoothie Bowl

  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 2 1x

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ avocado
  • ½ cup mango (frozen)
  • ½ banana (frozen)

Instructions

  1. Blend spinach and water together first.
  2. Add remaining ingredients.
  3. Depending on your blender, you may need to pause and push down the frozen fruit with a spoon and blend multiple times to get the desired consistency.
  4. Serve in a bowl with fresh berries and sliced bananas. You will need a spoon for this bowl of green smoothie thickness!

    Made this for breakfast topped with pomegranate, oranges, and pistachios. Yummy!

    Added a couple of tablespoons of cacao and frozen cherries, tastes just like an ice cream treat. Great dessert!
