This smoothie screams summer and is the ultimate in refreshing green smoothies. It’s loaded up with heart-healthy dietary fiber and relies on lower sugar fruits for it’s mildly sweet flavor. By the way, if you prefer a sweeter smoothie — feel free to add a banana, which also adds more potassium.

Simple Green Smoothies - Peach Coconut Dream

The liquid base of this smoothie is one of our very favorites – coconut water. Coconut water is a natural way to replenish your electrolytes. This smoothie would be perfect for drinking on a hot day at the beach or after an intense workout. Or just because. 🙂 Bookmark this recipe for peach season because it’s even better when juicy, ripe peaches are abounding at the farmer’s market.

Can you freeze coconut milk in ice cube trays and add to smoothie, say preparing it beforehand, mix all in a bag and dump on blender when ready to mix and drink?

    Hi Ladies,
Thanks for sharing the coconut recipe! Looking forward to trying it! (:
Since I’ve been making Smoothies ( all ‘thanks’ to both of you) I have been a blending fanatic!!! I absolutely love it!! I blend every morning for breakfast. Occasionally, I’ll have a regular breakfast on Saturday. ( But trust that doesn’t happen often. Not always in the mood to make it.) But for the most part I am smoothing like crazy!! (:

I’ve been creating and playing around with trying new things to blend along with the spinach and kale and so far its been fantastic and delicious!

I actually made a smoothie using 2 cups of spinach, 1 avocado, 6 slices of cucumbers, 1tbs flax seed, 1tbs of crunchy peanut butter,
6 strawberries and 2 cups of unsweetened Almond soy milk. And OMG!!! It was delicious!!! At other times I’ve also used 1 scoop of vanilla Whey along with other ingredients. This only happens when I’m blending for my husband separately. I just happen to taste his along with some spinach and other fruits and Almond soy milk and it too was the bomb!!! (:

Since I’ve started my sister has also started and she too is addictive as well. She shares her recipes with me and I with her. Some we create on our own and the rest we tune in to you guys for something ‘new’. (:

    Anyway, just wanted to share.(:

Hi there. I haven’t tried this yet but am planning on it tomorrow as soon as I get the ingredients. I have a general question: I need to get more protein in my smoothies as I’m planning to make them as a breakfast and won’t have an opportunity to eat again for about 5 hours. What do you suggest I use for protein that is not milk dairy or eggs. Thx so much xo

Quick question: I only have frozen sliced peaches on hand. How much should I use in place of the one peach listed in the ingredients? (I was assuming 1 cup to equal the 3 cups of fruit in most your smoothie recipes.) Thanks.

    • Sandra 2.23.2016 at 8:08 am #

oops!…that’s TWO peaches listed in ingredients

      • SGS Rawkstar 2.23.2016 at 11:32 am #

        Hi Sandra,

You’re right! I use about 1 cup of frozen peaches in place of fresh in this recipe!

        Cheers 🙂

Excellent! Snuck this one in on my 30 Day Challenge when I couldn’t find Week Two Page 2 and already had the grapes. Can’t wait to try it again.
