I loved this challenge. I needed to eat healthier to get my A1c back under control and to help with hers issues. This was just what I needed. A few of the recipes I had to substitute some items as I had sensitivity to some ingredients . But I followed them as much as I could ingredient wise and let me tell you they were awesome. I actually just made a small batch of potatoes to do the potatoes salad for tomorrows lunch. I also now eat a bowl of mixed berries (the berry salad almost) as my evening snack. My husband has actually tried a few of them I was shocked when he asked if I could make him the taco cashew salad again. Thank you so much. Hopefully I can keep up with this type of eating.
My kick in the butt motivation
This challenge is particularly fun as it makes you try combinations of food that you would not necessarily go for on your own. It makes it a nice discovery journey. Recipes are easy to follow delicious and the FB group is very dynamic. Can’t wait for the next challenge!
Can’t beet this challenge!
This was the 1st time I ever joined a challenge. As a cancer survivor I would consider myself very conscientious about what I eat and fuel my body with. Although I often find myself eating the same things because it’s a comfort zone for me. This salad challenge peaked my interest because it gave me the necessary push to “branch out” and explore new and healthy recipes. The shopping list was instrumental in my success of being able to complete the challenge. In addition the recipes were easy to follow provided great flavor and variety and very innovative. The garlic lemon aioli dressing for the kale caesar salad is just one example. This was one of my favorite salads of the challenge. I would highly recommend this salad challenge to anyone. It’s easy fun and who isn’t looking for new ideas and ways to enjoy eating salads. Many thanks to the SGS team for your empowerment and dedication to creating such delicious healthy plant-based recipes.
Amp up! Taking your salad to a whole new delicious and healthy level
When you say salad most of us think if a basic salad with green lettuce some veggies and dressing. This challenge opened my eye to so many new salad recipes. Bonus – they were all VERY easy to make and even better delicious to eat. Not having to look up and hunt for new salad ideas was great and the shopping list provided made it even easier. Highly recommend and would join again!
Yum to the Max!
Committing to this challenge helped me build the habit of shopping and prepping for the week, which was easy with the shopping list and prepping information provided. I enjoyed the variety of recipes and looked forward to trying something new each day! They were TASTY! I did struggle with the volume of leftovers to use up since the recipes serve two rather than one. But, I’ll admit that I did enjoy the second helping of the potato salad!!
Built New Habits!
I have never gone through so many bins and bags of greens in one week especially when prepping for more than one person but I was thrilled to have so much diversity and color throughout my meals this week. I especially appreciate that there were smoothies as well as savory meals and sides- so many options AND with a focus on vegan and vegetarian recipes I could eat (or modify) everything! Thank you so much for inspiring us to try new things and most importantly appreciate the flexibility of greens- an underestimated ingredient in both its malleability and variety. An overall delicious week!
Ate more greens than I thought humanly possible- in a good way!

Veggies galore!
Excellent challenge to get more greens and vegetables on a daily basis! So much fun trying new recipes and vegetables/combinations I would have been hesitant to try if not for a good daily plan over the course of 10 days. Loved this challenge! I will definitely be repeating several of the recipes on a weekly basis!

All the recipes were delicious! The support Jenn’s team provides is the best! I have followed Jenn’s programs for a number of years now and it is one of the best! Recipes always easy to follow. From smoothies to salads – you’re really helping me learn to eat better. I didn’t know where to start and then found your website. I’m buying things at the store and eating things I’d only heard of before. I’m 61 years old. You’re never too old to make changes and healthy choices.

I had a great experience with this challenge. For the most part I followed the recipes but I also added my own things based on my likes. It was a great challenge and surprised myself that I ate salads every day. Some days I ate a salad for lunch and dinner. My favorite was the taco salad and the strawberry mixed greens.

I have done a few of Jen’s challenges, I loved this one. It helped me meal prep healthy lunches for 2 week and added in so many new recipes to my rotation. The Kale Caesar, Healthy Taco Salad, Healthy Pasta Salad and of course the Bright Berry Salad were my absolute favorites. I could not pick just one. By meal prepping even just the salads for the week it set me up for eating healthier the rest of the day. Having the community for tips and support makes a huge difference in actually following through with the healthy eating. I just felt better eating cleaner during this challenge, I can’t wait for the next one.
A great jump start to a healthy spring
I have never in my life ate a salad everyday for 10days in a row!!!!!! It felt so good to put all those healthy foods into my body! For the past 10 days I put myself first! SGS made it easy, with their recipes. Eating so many different colors on my plate was adventurous! I love the fact that I can easily incorporate these into my daily life, it’s easy being green!
