This soup challenge helps me stock my freezer with nourishing soups so I can eat better all season long. Because let’s be real—when the weather turns chilly, it’s way too tempting to bake cookies or eat a pot of mac n’ cheese instead.

Soup Challenge Reviews
Participants say they’re more excited to cook, discovered new family favorites, and even batch-cooked to freeze meals for months. With simple prep and flexible recipes, you’ll see that healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated.
The vegan potato soup was very tasty. I was worried because my family usually prefers a very hearty meal and they all enjoyed this very much.
So very good!
My sister asked me to do this challenge with her and I said yes to the soups. We cooked together which was fun!
I liked having my lunch ready everyday and with some to spare for the freezer.
I even got my husband to try some so that was a win! I would add some chicken or shrimp if making to share with him.
I was nervous about trying the Thai coconut soup but that turned out to be my favorite along with veg noodle soup. Least favorite was the blended vegetable soup which was too bland.
I am feeling better about myself- big win!
Saying yes to the soup
I enjoyed the soup challenge very much.
Even though took Thanksgiving weekend off was glade to get back at it. It made me feel more energetic and better health wise. Thanks for your program and the great recipes. I will be doing this over and over again.
Yummy Meals
Soup isn’t my thing, so when I decided to give this challenge a go, family and friends were surprised. I also like vegetables but not lentils. What was my favorite soup? The Spiced Red Lentil, of course! I really enjoyed trying different soups and even my six-year-old gobbled them up! Loved expanding my palette with the new dishes!
I Don’t Like Soup
This was a fun challenge to do as I love soups and all of these soups are good for freezing since they are vegetarian. I definitely recommend shopping and prepping ahead of time if you are going to cook/eat 10 soups in 10 days. My favorites were the Potato Comfort Soup and the Vegetarian Split Pea Soup (days 1 and 10).
SOUPer challenge – be sure to get a head start!
I have thoroughly enjoyed this challenge. I have only made four of the ten soups so far, but I have printed out all of them and plan to finish the challenge at my own pace.
I am single so it is one at a time, freeze a few to enjoy.
My favorite so far is the Red Lentil Soup, but the other ones have been good too and will stay in my recipe box.
Great motivation to get me to try 10 new soups
The Soup Challenge really opened my eyes to new flavors and healthy options and the big surprise was how easy these soups were to prepare. Every recipe was delicious…no disappointments. My favorite recipe is probably the slow cooker minestrone. It had so much flavor. It was rich and hearty like no other minestrone I’ve ever had. The best thing about the soup challenge is that I’ve lost a few pounds. There were fewer processed foods in my diet and more healthy options these last ten days. I’m in a new groove of healthy eating. What’s not to love about that!!!??? Even my 6 month old Bernese Mountain Dog Spirit appreciated the challenge. It meant that she got one of her favorite snacks while I prepped veggies. She loves her carrots!
What’s Not to Love!!!
The recipes were delicious but equally important were your very real interactions with your daughter. It was fun to see.
Good food Good vibes
I love soups and enjoy healthy ones. The soups are very filling and flavorful. Sometimes better the next day.
Flavorful soups
These 10 Day Challenge soups are delicious and so healthy. I love that they’re all vegetarian. They’re easy enough to make on a weeknight. I definitely want to make some of them again.
Jumping into Fall
I loved the recipes and they all worked perfectly with adding my own additions or substitutions. Easy to put together and perfect for the fall weather. They were all great – it’s hard to pick a favorite!
Soup galore!
This has been a great challenge with delicious recipes. I haven’t made them all, since we needed a break from soup between days, but they are added to our menu! The big bonus is having leftovers for warm, comforting and healthy lunches. My favorite was the lentil soup. We added a drizzle of olive oil and red wine vinegar for a little extra pizzaz. I am also now making veggie stock on the regular! I will definitely be a frequent blog reader now. Thank you, Jen!
Souper Dooper Recipes!
I really enjoyed making the vegetarian split pea soup, but most of all, enjoyed eating the soup. So tasty with all of the vegetables. Definitely will be making this again.
Split pea is for me!
This was second time doing the challenge. I love learning and trying new recipes. I’ve tried and learned how to make new vegetables and soups. It takes the fear away of trying something new. I would highly recommend to anyone to join the challenge.
So delicious
All the soup recipes were great but my favorite is the potato soup. I have always liked potato soup but since I am lactose intolerant there are many things I can’t have now. Also, my husband has kidney disease and has to cut back on meats and increase his intake of fruits and veggies. These plant based recipes have been a great help for us.
So good
I loved this soup challenge. There were so many good recipes that I can’t pick just one favorite. While I was not able to source all of the ingredients from my garden, being able to source directly from the backyard for my spices and some veggies made it that much more rewarding. Then to top it off, by day 5 I had lost 8 pounds and by day 10 I was down 15 pounds from the start. I was not hungry one single day of the challenge. The soups were full of fiber to keep me feeling full and so good that I often had leftovers for lunch and even breakfast. The spiced lentil soup and split pea probably were the most filling. I loved the potato with kale chips and the tomato with cashew cream. I also loved the extra recipe links for homemade veggie stock (I made 2 batches and will be making another this weekend because it was such a great base), cashew cream, and basil pesto. The Thai coconut soup was absolutely delicious and the vegetarian tortilla had me sneaking a bowl of the soup before I blended it so I could eat it like chips and salsa. There are so many variations that can be made with these recipes by substituting the veggies that you can have soup everyday and never get bored. Several of these recipes will be made in my house this fall and winter. Thank you so much for the challenge and great recipes.
Comforting Fall Soups that warm the belly and the soul
What an experience! Serving soup to 7 year-olds usually elicits twisted faces and the sudden loss of appetite… not through this challenge! They were giving thumbs up every night, saying, “Ya, I’ll eat this again!” The Spiced Lentil was the favorite in our house! These soup recipes will definitely be on rotation year round.
Better than the Soup-erbowl
Good challenge to increase veggie intake. Opens up ideas on how to use surplus as well as refreshing the body
Veggie to the bowl!
Jen always comes up with these amazing recipes, whether it’s a smoothie or soup! I’ve never been disappointed with any of the things I’ve made during a challenge! I’m planning on making these soups over and over again… with my faves being Coconut Thai and the Vegetarian Pea! I also can never believe the amount of time Jen puts into these challenges with her replying to comments and posts! Super happy and can’t wait until the next one!! 🍜🥣❤️🍜🥣
