  • Green grapes: Mild, juicy, and naturally sweet—great for smoothies.
  • Frozen pineapple: Adds tropical flavor and creates a cold, creamy texture.

How to Make a Grape Smoothie

This green grape smoothie is quick to blend and beginner-friendly.

  1. Start by adding the spinach and water to your blender and blend until smooth. This helps prevent leafy chunks.
  2. Add the orange, grapes, and frozen pineapple, then blend again until creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash of water to reach your preferred consistency.
  3. Pour into a glass and enjoy right away for the freshest flavor.

Recipe Tips for Best Results

  • Check grapes for seeds before blending (I always use seedless grapes).
  • Use frozen pineapple to chill the smoothie without ice. You can cut pineapple and freeze it yourself.
  • If your grapes aren’t very sweet, add an additional natural sweetener.
  • A high-speed blender for smoothies creates the smoothest texture, but any blender will work with a little extra blending time.

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup spinach
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ orange peeled
  • ½ cup grapes
  • ½ cup pineapple frozen
  • 1 serving homemade protein powder optional

    It tasted almost like yesterdays. I love the pineapple and orange taste together with the spinach. I. couldn’t. really taste the grapes. I could drink that smoothie everyday all day. Loved it

    My husband says 3.5 but I say 4-4.5. I used red grapes – less fruit and more greens. I loved the flavor that the orange added to this.

    I enjoyed this smoothie, but my kids weren’t huge fans (probably for the lack of banana, their all time favorite fruit lol!)

    i made this smoothie as written and it was light, refreshing, and green. then i added protein powder and 1/4t each of wheat grass powder, kale powder, and spirulina powder. not surprisingly, it lost its light and refreshing taste, even though i added another 1/2c of grapes. i feel good about the nutrients, but i may make it as written again in the heat of the summer for a light and refreshing treat.

    Much better flavor than the first day. Blended beautifully. I did use ice rather than water to help make a cooler drink.

  12. I was pleasantly surprised by the green grapes! I wasn’t sure with the whole orange and the grape peels but my blender did it and it was light and perfect for a morning start!
