Hey Diane, some great banana/avocado substitutes are mango, papaya, pear, chia seeds, fresh dates, and nut butters. Some of these might be better suited for some recipes than others, depending on the other ingredients. 🙂

Does it matter what kind of apples I use? I don’t normally like green apples, so I was thinking of swapping them for gala but wasn’t sure if it would work.
