- Discard the rind and cut the lemon into quarters. This fleshy part of the lemon contains the fiber, and adding this to your smoothie will keep you feeling full longer.

Ingredients

- 1 tbsp raw honey
- ยฝ inch ginger root fresh
- 1 cup peach frozen
- ยฝ tsp ground turmeric
- 1 serving homemade protein powder optional

I would drink this to remedy a cold not an every day smoothie for me.
I skipped the ginger since Iโm not a fan. This one is tart so I added half of an apple. Itโs a nice break from the sweeter smoothies.
This one was just okay for me. I think I’ve just come to realize I’m not a fan of ginger and turmeric together. But if you are, I’d give this a go. If you like those flavors this would be right up your alley.

I am sorry, this was not a great one for me. It has a very strong and vibrant taste, but for me the ginger seems to come through so strong. I did drink it all and it was not terrible, but I will not be making this one again.
I was hopeful about this one but it didn’t work for me. I think the quality of the lemon I used was subpar. The overall texture was grainy and I could only taste pith.

Wow was that tart! Not sure if I did anything wrong. Maybe my lemons were too large? I now the honey was slightly light but not much. I forgot to add the ginger so I threw a couple of slices in after I tasted it. I think I would have liked it more with a banana added. I may try it another time & experiment…

Tangy and tart. This smoothie would be great refresher in a hot summer day. Mine was thick enough yo make smoothie bowl topped the blueberries, coconut flakes and chia seeds
