This peach spinach smoothie screams summer and is the ultimate in refreshing green smoothies. It’s loaded up with heart-healthy dietary fiber and relies on refreshing fruits for its mildly sweet flavor. Peach Spinach Smoothie Ingredients
This is such a fun smoothie to make + sip! It’s the perfect post workout drink because it’s easy to make, with just 4 rawkstar ingredients:
- Spinach– a superfood leafy green packed with iron.
- Grapes– loaded with vitamins C and K, as well as nutrients that help keep the heart healthy.
- Peaches– rich in antioxidants, which help fight chronic disease and cancer.
- Coconut water– contains electrolytes, which aid in workout recovery.
Basically, this peach spinach smoothie is a powerhouse of wellness… plus it tastes delicious.
Green vs red grapes
Is there really a difference in nutrition between green and red grapes? The easy answer is… not really. If there’s one variety you like best, then go for it. Yet the darker in color the grape is, the more antioxidants it contains. So if that’s why your popping grapes, then aim for the darker red varieties.
I think green grapes are more tart, and pair well with the sweet peaches + tangy coconut water in this smoothie, so I typically blend those.

To peel or not to peel peaches
Depending on the type of blender you have, you may want to peel your peaches. Yet if your blender can handle the skin, then I def recommend keeping it. Green Smoothie Ingredient Swaps
As with any green smoothie, I want you to get all the benefits you can. If that means swapping out an ingredient for one you can more easily find, ingest, or grow, then go for it! Spinach can be swapped out for Swiss chard or baby kale. Peaches can be swapped for almost any other stone fruit (apricots, nectarines, plums), or mango. Swap coconut water out for plain water, or even brewed tea. Obviously the flavor + consistency will change based on the swaps you make, so if the blend doesn’t feel right, don’t be afraid to add in extra fruit or liquid for the perfect drink.

Freezing Ingredients for Smoothies
Peaches are great smoothie ingredients, yet they have such a short growing season. Honestly, I buy them by the crate at Costco and Trader Joe’s, then slice them up and freeze. This way I can use them throughout the year, and I know they were super ripe + fresh when frozen. When freezing, I slice peaches into wedges, then lay them out on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Freeze for 1 hour, then toss the wedges into a freezer-safe container for storage.
Did you know grapes are also great frozen? My kids love to eat frozen grapes for snacks in the summer, yet freezing them also makes them the perfect ‘fruit cube’ for smoothies. Just lay grapes out on a tray lined with parchment, freeze for 1 hour, then store in a freezer safe container.
If using frozen grapes in this smoothie, make sure to up the liquid to 3/4 a cup instead of 1/2. This is because grapes act as a liquid and a fruit in smoothies, but not when frozen.

Peach Spinach Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 cup spinach
- ยฝ cup coconut water
- 1 cup grapes frozen
- ยฝ cup peach frozen
- 1 serving homemade protein powder optional
Instructions
- Blend spinach, grapes and coconut water until smooth.
- Addย the remaining fruits and blend again.
Notes
- Freeze at least one of these fruits to make the smoothie cold.
- Other stone fruits can be used in place of the peaches, if needed. Grapes can be substituted with cubed melon. Plain water may be used in place of the coconut water, if needed.
- You can use either green or red grapes.
- Swap spinach for the leafy greens of your choice.
It tasted better than I thought it would. I added the coconut milk smoothie cube into the mix and it was yummy..

I substituted the grapes for blueberries and it was incredible. I’m loving the simplicity of these smoothie recipes. They’re easy to prep in advance and take minutes to blend and serve.
Absolutely loved this one!!! So I am not a huge fan of coconut water so I used almond milk. But I might give the coconut water another try when I do these again! I also substituted pineapple for the grapes and it is so so good. This one is definitely one of my favorites!!!!
It was god but yesterdayโs was better. Think I may try peach – pineapple next time.
I can’t give this recipe an honest review as I didn’t have peaches so I used mangos, and from past experience I’m not a fan of grapes so I substituted with strawberries, but I have to say my blend was uber thick, creamy and delicious. Side note, I added some vanilla why protein and it complimented the blend well.
Not my fav. I think I would have liked it without the coconut water. It seems to add a bitter taste to smoothies.

Not my favorite. I was expecting more of a peach flavor but I tasted more of the spinach.
Very good taste. I missed the creaminess, without the avocado or a banana it wasnโt quite as creamy as the rest. But other than that it was great.
Since I did not have any peaches, I used 3 pieces of dried apricots (soaked) instead. To adjust for the sweetness, I put in about 3/4 cups of grapes and only 1/4 cup of coconut water, but it was still way too sweet for my taste. Adding lime and more water helped a bit, but what this smoothie really needed was a little fat. I want to try this again with the peaches and maybe some almond milk and protein powder, which I forgot to add today.
Out of habit, I used 1 cup of liquid rather than 1/2 cup, so I add chia to thicken. I like a thick smoothie. It was still delicious.
Didnโt like this one as much as others. Too…sweet? Grape-y? Admittedly, we only had red grapes so maybe that was the problem?
Steph, I prefer this one with green grapes. Try making it again with green instead of red and see if you like it better. I also like this smoothie much better with frozen grapes so if you’re using fresh, try freezing them first. ๐
Today’s recipe was pretty good! I had to substitute pineapples because I couldn’t find any decent looking grapes. This one will be added to my rotation.
This was refreshing and sweet! I added some collagen powder for extra protein and had it for breakfast!
