If you’re not a fan of bananas, feel free to swap the banana for 1/2 avocado. You’ll get a creamy smoothie AND boost it with some healthy fats and vitamin E, which is wonderful for your skin. Sometimes I’ll half a banana and 1/4 avocado to the recipe to change it up and get the best of both worlds. The beauty of a green smoothie is, as long as you follow the Rawkstar Formula, you’ll get a tasty green smoothie every time.

This looks like the mango madness for day 5 so this is where I’m commenting. This smoothie was great. I’m not usually a coconut water fan but the flavors blend well in this one. And this is just what I needed. I keep getting pregnancy leg craps so this was perfect. It comes out a little thin so I added chia seeds. Perfect smoothie to add chia seeds to.

  2. Carol Simpson says:

This is delicious! I used plain water, and I don’t like coconut water. Of course, one of the lovely things about Jen’s recipes is that they are easy to adapt for personal tastes.
