Grad stories
I'm sleeping better, I'm happier and have more energy.
I've been walking every day with my dog or by myself with a book and doing strength training, which feels great. I've lost 7 pounds and have a better outlook because I don't have as much inflammation and fatigue.

Grad stories
It has recruited my husband (big win).
I'm not a natural cook and it takes a lot of my energy to plan and prep… BUT when I prep several meals and have healthy options at the ready it feels so nice. Did I complete this cleanse? Heck no! It fell in a month where we had multiple kids home sick, snow days, and a trip. HOWEVER…

Grad stories
I feel like the best version of myself.
I got so many compliments about how I looked… not just about the weight-loss but about glowing skin. I feel like the best version of myself when I'm eating plant-based… and have this 21-day cleanse to thank for that!

Grad stories
I wish I had known about this in my 40's.
I am 69, and I can honestly say adopting this lifestyle would have saved years of misery and expense due to medical issues.

Grad stories
I've been changed for the better.
Now, I know what foods make me feel great and give me tons of energy. It's like I was a caterpillar that emerged from its cocoon and turned into a beautiful butterfly. I'm not looking back.
A note from Jen
If you’re on the fence, I was too
Would the recipes actually be good? Would I just bounce right back to my old habits? Was it worth eating 100% plant-based for three weeks? Then about eight days in, I was hooked. Less bloated. Sleeping like a rock. Energy through the roof.
Most cleanses end and leave you exactly where you started — or worse, hooked on a product you have to rebuy. This one is different on purpose: you learn to cook real food, so you walk away with skills that don’t run out when the box is empty.
And if you’re nervous about the food? Remember — this is literally what I do. I make plant-based food that’s so good you forget it’s “healthy.” Because healthy should be tasty.

Not likely. The recipe portions are deliberately generous to accommodate even the largest appetites. This is not a starvation diet, it is a celebration of food, flavor, and abundance. We are not counting calories. You will be eating three to five times each day (breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, and dinner, if you choose to.) This cleanse is not designed to starve you, and you’re not limited in the number of times you eat, or the amount you eat – only in what you eat. If you do get hunger pangs, make sure that you’re really hungry, and not just bored or thirsty. If it’s a case of real hunger, go for one of the bonus snack recipes, a piece of fruit, or a small handful of nuts, or seeds. One tip to avoid hunger is to chew your green smoothie. This may sound silly, but the chewing action signals your body that food is on the way, and triggers the digestive processes.
Nope — and that’s the whole point. This cleanse runs entirely on real food you buy at your regular grocery store. No proprietary box, no capsules, no subscription. You’ll learn to cook with whole ingredients so your results actually last once the 21 days are up.
You may have many of the staple ingredients in your kitchen already (avocado oil, raw cashews, maple syrup, ground cumin, nutritional yeast, coconut oil, etc). If you do not, the first shop typically costs about $150. Then, once your kitchen is set up, we estimate the cost of the produce to be between $100 per week. If you choose to supplement the plant-based recipes with high quality animal protein like organic chicken breast or cage free eggs, your grocery bill will be higher.
And remember — you’re buying real groceries, not a $400+ box of powders you’ll run out of. Most of this is food you’d be shopping for anyway, just put to much better use.
If you struggle with getting quality sleep, we advise omitting coffee throughout the cleanse. You will get the best results and many cleanse grads choose to stay off coffee after the cleanse because they feel so great. If you and coffee aren’t ready to break up, we suggest having just one cup in the morning to support quality rest and sleep.
If you want the full benefit of cleansing your body, stick with the plan as close as possible. Our detox meals are crafted by our holistic nutritionist for optimal cleansing. This is not a vacation, it’s a cleanse. Yet of course if you truly cannot stand cilantro, turmeric or fennel, you can substitute them out for something you do enjoy, or choose another meal.
Of course— life must go on! The 21-Day Cleanse is a flexible program that you can follow while living your life with family and friends. Using the weekly meal plans and recipes will help you get great results. But, you can still get good results by sticking to the recommended foods lists. You can eat “off meal plan”, eat out, and travel during the program— feel free to ask for tips inside the community to help you the most.
You may experience short-term symptoms like: headaches, bloating, muscle cramps, skin irritations, fatigue, irritability, mood swings, or change in bowel frequency. These symptoms are completely normal and expected.
It usually takes between 2-5 days to complete the withdrawal phase of the 21-Day Cleanse, yet it’s absolutely worth it. Giving your body a break from stimulants will allow your organs to heal and your body to recharge fully. Remember, these symptoms are proof that the cleanse is working and your body is getting the care it needs.
You’ll definitely spend more time in the kitchen throughout the cleanse. In some ways, this is like a crash course plant-based cooking school. I highly suggest following our prep guide to make most of the smoothies, snacks and meals over the weekend. Breakfast is a smoothie (10 minutes), lunch is a reheated soup or quick salad (15 minutes) and dinners will range from 15 minutes – 1 hour to prepare. The good news is, the dinners repeat so you make once and reheat for another evening to give you a break in the kitchen.
We know all about busy schedules here, which is why we’ve provided a weekend prep guide that saves you tons of time during the week. If you’re working and have a full schedule, expect to spend 3-4 hours shopping and prepping on the weekends to make each cleanse week stress-free and enjoyable. The cleanse gives you a wonderful opportunity to really listen to your body. It’s an individual experience that differs for everyone. Depending on the level of toxicity in your body, there may be some less- than-amazing symptoms in the first 3–5 days, such as headaches, nausea, fatigue, skin irritations, etc. Once you hit day five, these should only be distant memories, and you’ll be well on your way to greatness. But some people sail through the entire cleansing period with no side effects at all. You may feel amazing throughout the entire cleanse, or your energy may wax and wane a little.
This cleanse is great for most people, yet you should avoid cleansing in the following situations: advanced cancer, under 16 years of age, if you have an eating disorder, kidney or liver disease, and if you’re underweight. If you have a blood sugar regulation issue (diabetes, hyperglycemia, hypoglycemia) or any other medical condition, you should seek your doctor’s advice before undertaking a cleanse. If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, you can absolutely do the cleanse with some modifications. If this is you, let us know and we can give you specific tweaks to the program to make sure you’re benefitting your baby and body.
You may find that you have more energy than normal—and more motivation! Why waste it? Get moving! Be mindful that you may need to take it down a notch though as your body adjust to the new way of eating. If you normally exercise fairly intensely, reduce your output until you feel strong and energized.
If you don’t normally work out, you would do well to include some regular walking, yoga, swimming or gardening during this time. Try to sneak in some incidental exercise, such as getting off the train or bus one or two stops early and walking the rest of the way. Or park further away from the entrance to the grocery store and walk.
Absolutely. My husband loves our cleanses — the clear plans, the tasty recipes, and how good he feels by the end. Just double the grocery list and recipes so there’s enough for you both.
We offer a 7-day money back guarantee. Enroll now and get 7 days to go through the Week 1 Nutrition Plan, share it with your doctor, try a recipe or three, and say hello to your fellow cleansers in the private support group. If you decide it’s not for you, send us an email within 7 days of purchase and I’ll refund you. I’m that confident that when you commit to this cleanse, you’ll see results… and keep them going. You have nothing to lose but so much to gain when you go plant-based for 21 days.
Reviews
What grads say after 21 days of real food.
The cleanse was great. Recipes were a good change from steamed veggies. I wasn’t hungry and I have better digestion.
I loved the structure! I am inefficient in the kitchen, but it did seem to get better. I just need more practice. the weekly prep was definitely helpful and I did watch all of the recorded coaching calls. I work full-time and was unable to attend them live. During the cleanse, I was never hungry. I’m definitely more confident in the kitchen, have more energy, slept better, lost weight and felt great!
I did this cleanse because I really needed a the cleanse. I needed to change my way of eating, and to experience what it felt like to eat clean. I enjoyed everything about this cleanse. The meals were amazing, the soups and sauces, oh the sauces! Woke up feeling light with more energy. There was no morning back pain. I was never hungry. It was just amazing. So far, I lost some inches from my waist, stomach feels less bloated. Believe I have lost a few pounds. Did not go on the scale because I plan to continue the cleanse for two more weeks.
I did the cleanse to get a quick deep dive into eating plant based. I wanted the strong cleanse start to test whether my inflammation would improve with this lifestyle change. I started all in and my stomach was overwhelmed. I had to back off, choose favorites and repeat those. I enjoyed tips on how it was ok to swap iIngredients and even add protein if needed (hard boiled egg, salmon). I was not hungry- was satisfied with volume and variety. I’m down 5 lbs since my last doctor check in and joint pain in hands has improved!
My sleep is amazing. I taste more flavors. My gut feels great. I’ve done many of your cleaned in the past, and I love the way I feel when I do them. And it always takes off a few pounds. I was a week behind and didn’t use the calls and check-ins as much as I would have liked. The prep guide always helps. It was nice having 2 smoothies a day rather than having to cook twice a day, but then I had leftover veggies like half of a spaghetti squash to use. So I’m making that again before post cleanse. I love the interactive pdf. I know some said they didn’t like the pictures for the meal plan because of their printers but I liked the pictures better.
I joined the cleanse to reduce inflammation. It was tough, but repeated recipes worked for me. I felt really good after cleanse week and have less pain in my hands.
This cleanse was my jumpstart to eat more REAL foods, whole food plant based is my goal. The days I could do the cleanse I did feel better. And as I said, there was a lot of chaos going on in my world at the time. I have to say I gave the cleanse a 4 instead of 5 ONLY because I had to stop and start several times; so that was on me. I didn’t utilize the plan 100%. I was going back and forth between houses and helping move my daughter and it really cut in to my time so I only did a few of the meals. I’m sure if I had done all the meals I would have given it a 5!
I try to eat like this once a month for about 10 days and loved the simplicity of having the meal plans and grocery list. There were some recipes that weren’t my favorite but I loved trying to recipes! I’m feeling better overall after cleaning up diet.
I joined to gain control over the poor, reckless eating habits I had recently picked up after suffering a personal loss six months ago. The recipes were absolutely delicious and I repeatedly looked forward to each meal. I even ate some things I’ve never card for but found that I did given the various seasonings incorporated. I can honestly say I never felt hungry or as if I were really missing anything. The snacks were definitely helpful in satisfying me throughout the day. The prep made the week that followed easier to stick to as I didn’t have to think twice about what I was having for each meal. Had I not had and done a lot of that, I probably would have talked myself into grabbing something on the go reasoning that it would be simpler and quicker. The information and support from the group check-ins and recorded coaching calls were invaluable. I learned a lot of different ways to make really tasteful meals from what I have in my fridge in less time than it would take me to order and pickup takeout which really surprised me. I began paying more attention to how my body felt. I have arthritis in a few places but one in particular, the base of one of my thumbs, definitely showed improvement during the cleanse. I noticed when I eat “right” that same area isn’t as painful or visibly swollen, reason enough to continue to incorporate what I’ve learned into my daily meals!
I feel like the cleanse is a master cooking class. I’ve learned to prepare and cook foods that I really hadn’t done before. Green smoothies really have become a constant for me as they are easy to prepare for 1. I first did a cleanse in 2020 and the weekly prep tips get better with each cleanse, and the way the shopping list is organized is very helpful. I was never really hungry and would often skip a snack.
I love learning new recipes! Everything went well. Making the tonic ice cubes is such a great idea! I feel less intimidated in the kitchen with trying new things.
The cleanse after the holidays and change my gut bacteria. I actually think I have a reaction to kale. By the end of the cleanse week, I was having diarrhea and nausea after every meal with kale. I found there was too much food overall, so I just ate smaller portions and had leftovers for the post-cleanse week. The early prep was helpful. My schedule did not allow participation in the check-in and calls. I did notice that I have less cravings for chocolate and increased my commitment to a daily green smoothie.
I felt fine, except for the protein deficiency. I had a few hours of moderate headache due to caffeine, 1st day only. Hair was falling out 2nd day, subsequent brain strain, & brain fatigue – I did the pre cleanse as well. Bolstered with protein cookies daughter made in keeping with guidelines, avocado, nut butter-almond. The plan structure was fine. When menu planning for a diverse group it has to be broadly inclusive, so elderly have to tailor accordingly! My comfort/happy zone was the cleanse week; confirmed my 1-2+yrs ago observation that if I could just drink my 1st 2 meals, then eat later, I could manage my day better with less stress & weight gain bc I was actually eating Before 7-10pm. Food was ok. Learned how to roast cut veg. Useful. Found myself asking why I was spending hours(!!) putting recipes together when I am perfectly happy just eating each or all, raw, dipped in an Aldi’s hummus- the lesson in this cleanse is to make it yourself 😁- or TJ’s salad dressing, or salad. Saves Some time. Good to have recipes for fussier, creative times. Weekly prep was helpful! Improvements noted. Grocery list, also very helpful. Not hungry most of the time. Only hungry for a few days when I got too jammed up due to not receiving grocery list in timely manner for 2nd week, so missed discount day, which means going further out to bigger store. It’s “fine”, but Really jammed me up badly for several days due to Domino Effect. I wasn’t able to make several meals, had to make adjustments to recipes due to allergies, get the hang of what was being done, etc. took at least 2 days that week to adjust, get the food, & figure out what I was doing or not. So didn’t get food made for first 2-3 days of week. Ate a Florida avocado, which I keep on hand. But was hungry due to time(ing). I’m an advocate of the group coaching calls. Saves So much time Not typing!!! Talking is So much faster, that you get Much more info in less time, with less effort, stress & strain❣️ In 3 D you can also make things Infinitely clearer with less possibility of error or misunderstanding. 1000% better option. I personally, would be willing to pay more for the option of Not having to type anything, except Maybe a Super quick concrete type question. Confirmed that weight is likely cellular level issue, in addition to timely eating/ drinking. I have used my blender more. Had my 1st green smoothie. Learned that plain yogurt Can be used without messing up the smoothie. Minimally reduced sugar, due to yogurt. And will continue to evaluate the use(& when) of alternative milks, which heretofore has been a No. Cannot say that I have “excess” energy! No marathons. But my husband just told me that we will be going out for a mini grand tour, soon. That means- depending on conditions- Maybe getting to do the Narrows again! He wants Not One Single Thing to do with it & said so before I could get it out! So if y’all want to join me…I’m up. I Love water trails, Not so much earth trails. He’s the land trail guy. If we get to Brice again, I would Love to do the horse trail again. So worth it! Want to do 2-3 sections of the horseshoe bend area. And my favorite descent from the plateau to the valley on a 1 way “ranger” type road that is used both ways is out that way. Not on most peoples’ radar. Some people, like my husband, White Knuckle it the whole way.🤣 no rails, no space, views that 🤯 the whole way(IF you can get your eyes off the road). Dixie (Forest) is Really pretty, too. Have to watch your seasons. Lots of grazing land, but it’s fun to watch the cowboys run the herds either onto or off of the mountain grazing lands. Lots to see & do. Ever go up that way, I have several suggestions for places to stay & eat well.
I have previously done a cleanse and challenges with Jen and really feel awesome about them! I also have a couple of your books which I do love to use! During the cleanse, I felt good and was able to stick to it! Helps me to the cleanse! Everything is organized so clearly. I only did some of the weekly prep as I am retired and was able to do most meals as they came up. I definitely was not hungry! I felt the servings were too generous! I did make all but the last zoom calls but I am not really comfortable with taking pictures, posting, discussing on the computer so didn’t really get involved in the discussions. Some of my wins are feeling full on healthy choices is my biggest win but also knowing I can have some other foods in the week as well. I do like smoothies and you have so many delicious recipes so I am really going to try to continue with one smoothie a day! Not really craving the sweets as much at this point at least. Definitely more motivated to plan and prepare more plant based meals.
My healthy habits had fallen by the wayside since the holidays so I did the cleanse to help. I enjoyed the majority of recipes and hints for prep. I was hungry the first few days. I missed the group check ins and call bc of work. Got back to smoothies and healthier meals. Love how I can make them all over and over again. They’re just so good.
