- For the rim: Dip the glass rim into lime juice and coat with coconut sugar to add a subtle caramel-like sweetness to the rim. Completely optional, but fun!

How to Make a Probiotic Smoothie
- Start by blending the spinach and kombucha together until completely smooth. This step helps avoid leafy chunks and creates a smooth base. Explore my how to make smoothie guide to become a smoothie pro.
- Add the frozen peaches and blend again on high until thick and creamy.
- Add in collagen peptides and blend on low.
- On a small shallow plate, pour the lime juice and coconut sugar. Dip the rim of your glass into the lime juice, then into the sugar to coat the edge.

Peach Probiotic Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 cup spinach
- 8 oz kombucha
- 1 ½ cup peach frozen
- 1 serving collagen peptides
Topping
- 1 tbsp lime optional
- 1 tbsp coconut sugar optional
Instructions
- Blend spinach and kombucha together until no more leafy chunks.
- Add in the frozen peaches and blend again until creamy. Add in collagen and blend on low.
- For rim: Squeeze lime juice and coconut sugar onto small shallow tray/bowl. Dip rim of cup into lime juice and then into sugar to coat the edge of the glass.
- Fill glass with probiotic smoothie and enjoy!

- Feel free to swap out the peaches for another fruit such as frozen pineapple, mango, or strawberries. Switch things up by using another flavor of kombucha.
- You can also blend the lime right into the smoothie and use water to line the glass.

Made this with nectarines instead of peaches, as that’s what we had on hand. Delicious! Used ginger kombucha because it’s yummy, and this was a lot of fun.

I really enjoyed this yummy flavour combination! I used a cup of Gingerade kombucha (which added a nice zing!), 1/2 peeled small lime, 1/2 cup fresh nectarine, 1 cup frozen peaches, and a block of frozen spinach. I always add a bit of water to clean out my blender container and thin out the smoothie consistency. I drank half as described, and then added hemp protein powder to the other half, which was not as good. The protein powder I have definitely changes the flavour and is a bit gritty. I wonder how this would be with chia & flax seeds and hemp hearts, or the SGS protein powder. Fun end to wonderful 10-day challenge – thanks SGS team!
I used ginger kombucha and omitted the coconut sugar rim. I really liked this recipe. Definitely a make again. and will be trying new combinations. I’m hooked!
This was not as bad as I thought it would be. I’ve never had Kombucha. The coconut sugar on the rim helped with the taste. The recipe in the Challenge pdf did not state to juice the lime, so I added 1/2 lime without the peel.
I had to use a substitute for kombucha so I used water and a little leftover coconut water. Peaches and limes are 2 fruits that I really like so that was good for the taste. I could’ve made the smoothie a little sweeter. I will definitely try this again and make some adjustments.
I blended the entire lime into the smoothie…peel and all. Smoothie was very tangy, but refreshing. I used ginger kombucha and frozen peaches. Will try other combinations as this would be a great mocktail! Would not suggest this for a morning smoothie though–a bit too tart for first thing! It was fun to serve with the sugar rim in fancy glasses!

This is another great recipe to add to my must make again list. For the 10 day smoothie challenge this is a tie for the #1 slot. Your choice of flavors for the kombucha can change up the flavors. I have a case of Ginger-lemonade Kombucha from Costco and it paired extremely well with the fruits and lime. Yum, yum, more please!
This smoothie introduced me to kombucha. I used organic kiwi strawberry kombucha with a kale and spinach combo. I also used turbinado cane sugar instead.. It was good ! I will try this again.
Definitely not my favorite out of the 10 day challenge. I really think this would be better with the kombucha substituted for something else. The recipe also did not specify what flavor of kombucha in the challenge guidebook, so I chose a pineapple peach figuring it is close to the recipe. FYI- if you have a blender that seals while it blends, it will go everywhere once you open it because of the carbonated kombucha.
I wasn’t able to get kombucha, so I used coconut milk for the liquid. It was cool and refreshing.
I made this smoothie with a couple of tweaks…I didn’t have Kombucha so I used Almond Milk & I also added plant based protein powder & I thought it needed a little more something, so I added a couple of ice cubes of Pomegranate juice (from my pomegranate tree!). Delicious!

I would have never thought to blend with kombucha. I used a lemon ginger flavour and made this as a smoothie bowl with mostly frozen peaches but some frozen mango and kale instead of spinach. Also added oats, matcha, flax seeds, and chia seeds. Topped with coconut sugar, shredded coconut, hemp hearts, and granola. Made a very tasty breakfast!
