Beauty Smoothie time: SPA Skin Cleanser

I can’t count the number of battles I’ve had with my skin over the years. From acne, to dry skin to oily skin to sunburns… I can go every which way. I’ve learned a few constants over the years to keep my luscious skin between the ups and downs: hydration, fiber and healthy fats. Yep— those three things are the magic ingredients to beautiful luscious skin.

Wanna know why? Your skin is the largest organ on your body. And like your other organs, it’s affected by what you feed it and how other organs are functioning around it. I’m gonna be blunt here: if you’re having plumbing problems, there’s a good chance it’ll show on your skin. If foods are moving through you and leaving the body at a healthy pace, then the toxins will make it out via bowel movements. Yet if you’re clogged up, the toxins will find another way out… and the skin is the next avenue (and it isn’t pretty).

The Beauty Smoothie

To help keep my skin healthy, I rely in this beauty smoothie — SPA Skin Cleanser. It’s loaded with fiber, hydrating coconut water and healthy fats. It’s a gem of goodness and the taste is amazing too. Blend it, and let me know what you think by leaving a comment below.

Spa Skin Cleanser for healthy, glowing skin

SPA Skin Cleanser Green Smoothie

  • Yield: 2 1x


Avocado has a significant portion of healthy fats and vitamin E, while the coconut water is like nature’s gatorade, hydrating and regenerating your tissue. By gulping natural skin boosting ingredients and applying external moisturizer, your skin should be glowing in no time. This beauty smoothie will become your go-to skin booster. 



  • 2 cups spinach, (fresh)
  • 2 cups coconut water, (unsweetened)
  • 2 cups pineapple, (frozen)
  • 1 avocado


  1. Blend spinach and coconut water until smooth.
  2. Add remaining ingredients, and blend until smooth. Enjoy!


*Use frozen pineapple to make smoothie cold.

    I’ve noticed the post on this recipe mentions coconut oil, but I only see coconut water in this recipe… am I missing something…?

    You can replace the pineapple with mango, peaches, or papaya!

    Do you recommend to drink this right away or can it be in the fridge overnight? Thanks!

    Hey Aaron,

    Great question! Our smoothie can last in the fridge up to two days in a sealed air-tight container. Just give it a little shake and you are good to go. If you don’t want the color to fade at all, add some lemon juice to it.

    Hey Esperanza,

    We recommend adding one smoothie to your daily diet! You can have it in the morning or as a afternoon pick-me-up. Whatever works best for you!!
