Grad stories
I'm sleeping better, I'm happier and have more energy.
I've been walking every day with my dog or by myself with a book and doing strength training, which feels great. I've lost 7 pounds and have a better outlook because I don't have as much inflammation and fatigue.

Grad stories
It has recruited my husband (big win).
I'm not a natural cook and it takes a lot of my energy to plan and prep… BUT when I prep several meals and have healthy options at the ready it feels so nice. Did I complete this cleanse? Heck no! It fell in a month where we had multiple kids home sick, snow days, and a trip. HOWEVER…

Grad stories
I feel like the best version of myself.
I got so many compliments about how I looked… not just about the weight-loss but about glowing skin. I feel like the best version of myself when I'm eating plant-based… and have this 21-day cleanse to thank for that!

Grad stories
I wish I had known about this in my 40's.
I am 69, and I can honestly say adopting this lifestyle would have saved years of misery and expense due to medical issues.

Grad stories
I've been changed for the better.
Now, I know what foods make me feel great and give me tons of energy. It's like I was a caterpillar that emerged from its cocoon and turned into a beautiful butterfly. I'm not looking back.
A note from Jen
If you’re on the fence, I was too
Would the recipes actually be good? Would I just bounce right back to my old habits? Was it worth eating 100% plant-based for three weeks? Then about eight days in, I was hooked. Less bloated. Sleeping like a rock. Energy through the roof.
Most cleanses end and leave you exactly where you started — or worse, hooked on a product you have to rebuy. This one is different on purpose: you learn to cook real food, so you walk away with skills that don’t run out when the box is empty.
And if you’re nervous about the food? Remember — this is literally what I do. I make plant-based food that’s so good you forget it’s “healthy.” Because healthy should be tasty.

Not likely. The recipe portions are deliberately generous to accommodate even the largest appetites. This is not a starvation diet, it is a celebration of food, flavor, and abundance. We are not counting calories. You will be eating three to five times each day (breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, and dinner, if you choose to.) This cleanse is not designed to starve you, and you’re not limited in the number of times you eat, or the amount you eat – only in what you eat. If you do get hunger pangs, make sure that you’re really hungry, and not just bored or thirsty. If it’s a case of real hunger, go for one of the bonus snack recipes, a piece of fruit, or a small handful of nuts, or seeds. One tip to avoid hunger is to chew your green smoothie. This may sound silly, but the chewing action signals your body that food is on the way, and triggers the digestive processes.
Nope — and that’s the whole point. This cleanse runs entirely on real food you buy at your regular grocery store. No proprietary box, no capsules, no subscription. You’ll learn to cook with whole ingredients so your results actually last once the 21 days are up.
You may have many of the staple ingredients in your kitchen already (avocado oil, raw cashews, maple syrup, ground cumin, nutritional yeast, coconut oil, etc). If you do not, the first shop typically costs about $150. Then, once your kitchen is set up, we estimate the cost of the produce to be between $100 per week. If you choose to supplement the plant-based recipes with high quality animal protein like organic chicken breast or cage free eggs, your grocery bill will be higher.
And remember — you’re buying real groceries, not a $400+ box of powders you’ll run out of. Most of this is food you’d be shopping for anyway, just put to much better use.
If you struggle with getting quality sleep, we advise omitting coffee throughout the cleanse. You will get the best results and many cleanse grads choose to stay off coffee after the cleanse because they feel so great. If you and coffee aren’t ready to break up, we suggest having just one cup in the morning to support quality rest and sleep.
If you want the full benefit of cleansing your body, stick with the plan as close as possible. Our detox meals are crafted by our holistic nutritionist for optimal cleansing. This is not a vacation, it’s a cleanse. Yet of course if you truly cannot stand cilantro, turmeric or fennel, you can substitute them out for something you do enjoy, or choose another meal.
Of course— life must go on! The 21-Day Cleanse is a flexible program that you can follow while living your life with family and friends. Using the weekly meal plans and recipes will help you get great results. But, you can still get good results by sticking to the recommended foods lists. You can eat “off meal plan”, eat out, and travel during the program— feel free to ask for tips inside the community to help you the most.
You may experience short-term symptoms like: headaches, bloating, muscle cramps, skin irritations, fatigue, irritability, mood swings, or change in bowel frequency. These symptoms are completely normal and expected.
It usually takes between 2-5 days to complete the withdrawal phase of the 21-Day Cleanse, yet it’s absolutely worth it. Giving your body a break from stimulants will allow your organs to heal and your body to recharge fully. Remember, these symptoms are proof that the cleanse is working and your body is getting the care it needs.
You’ll definitely spend more time in the kitchen throughout the cleanse. In some ways, this is like a crash course plant-based cooking school. I highly suggest following our prep guide to make most of the smoothies, snacks and meals over the weekend. Breakfast is a smoothie (10 minutes), lunch is a reheated soup or quick salad (15 minutes) and dinners will range from 15 minutes – 1 hour to prepare. The good news is, the dinners repeat so you make once and reheat for another evening to give you a break in the kitchen.
We know all about busy schedules here, which is why we’ve provided a weekend prep guide that saves you tons of time during the week. If you’re working and have a full schedule, expect to spend 3-4 hours shopping and prepping on the weekends to make each cleanse week stress-free and enjoyable. The cleanse gives you a wonderful opportunity to really listen to your body. It’s an individual experience that differs for everyone. Depending on the level of toxicity in your body, there may be some less- than-amazing symptoms in the first 3–5 days, such as headaches, nausea, fatigue, skin irritations, etc. Once you hit day five, these should only be distant memories, and you’ll be well on your way to greatness. But some people sail through the entire cleansing period with no side effects at all. You may feel amazing throughout the entire cleanse, or your energy may wax and wane a little.
This cleanse is great for most people, yet you should avoid cleansing in the following situations: advanced cancer, under 16 years of age, if you have an eating disorder, kidney or liver disease, and if you’re underweight. If you have a blood sugar regulation issue (diabetes, hyperglycemia, hypoglycemia) or any other medical condition, you should seek your doctor’s advice before undertaking a cleanse. If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, you can absolutely do the cleanse with some modifications. If this is you, let us know and we can give you specific tweaks to the program to make sure you’re benefitting your baby and body.
You may find that you have more energy than normal—and more motivation! Why waste it? Get moving! Be mindful that you may need to take it down a notch though as your body adjust to the new way of eating. If you normally exercise fairly intensely, reduce your output until you feel strong and energized.
If you don’t normally work out, you would do well to include some regular walking, yoga, swimming or gardening during this time. Try to sneak in some incidental exercise, such as getting off the train or bus one or two stops early and walking the rest of the way. Or park further away from the entrance to the grocery store and walk.
Absolutely. My husband loves our cleanses — the clear plans, the tasty recipes, and how good he feels by the end. Just double the grocery list and recipes so there’s enough for you both.
We offer a 7-day money back guarantee. Enroll now and get 7 days to go through the Week 1 Nutrition Plan, share it with your doctor, try a recipe or three, and say hello to your fellow cleansers in the private support group. If you decide it’s not for you, send us an email within 7 days of purchase and I’ll refund you. I’m that confident that when you commit to this cleanse, you’ll see results… and keep them going. You have nothing to lose but so much to gain when you go plant-based for 21 days.
Reviews
What grads say after 21 days of real food.
I joined to get clean after the holidays. Have only managed the precleanse week so far, yet my body functioning is more efficient.
I signed up and did the cleanse to evaluate and revise my eating habits for better health. The cleanse went very well. I had already began to make changes at the beginning of year. I had completed the Twenty-one Day Daniel Fast and the Winter Cleanse was a great follow on. I felt great, enjoyed the prep, and I was never hungry. Actually, the only difficulty I experienced was trying to eat all the wonderful dishes. I appreciated the group check-ins and coaching calls. Sharing with others and receiving encouragement, as well as the experience advice from Jen was beneficial. I feel great! I have lost several pounds and I believe my cholesterol levels have gone down. I also have increased my physical activity. I am walking at least 5 days a weeks with a goal to change that to running.
I wanted to clean up my diet and flood my body with plants. I felt great on the cleanse, my energy was consistent, slept better, not hungry. The prep advice was very helpful, it was definitely a lot of prep work. I’ve just felt so much better and feel that I can really tune into my body. I can recognize how certain foods affect me.
I wanted to try a plant based diet to see if I liked it. I had never done one before. I eat pretty healthy and have already been doing quarterly based liver detox’s. I get 7-9 cups of fruits and veggies per day with the majority being vegetables and I drink 80-100 oz’s of water per day. The cleanse went well for me. It actually was a lot more food than I am used to eating. It also was 10 times more fruit than I am used to since I’ve always been taught the majority of my fruit and veggie intake daily should primarily be vegetables. I loved having the weekly plan ahead of time so I could review the food and have plenty of time to grocery shop. I enjoyed all the recipes. The prep was helpful during the week but man it took up the better part of my Sunday to get it all done. Not sure that is realistic for me to have time to do that much prep every Sunday. But I did enjoy less time preparing for meals during the week because of the prep work. The check in calls were slightly helpful but would love it if you could add some additional education in addition to the Q & A. For example I’ve been trying to “eat the rainbow” to have a healthier gut micro biome. Experts suggest you start by getting at least 30 different types of food weekly (including herbs and spices). I would also like more info on eating timeframes. I have learned that you want at least 3 hours between meals to allow your blood sugar to come completely down before you eat again and the best way to do that is to cut out snacking. Be sure to eat enough at each meal to be satiated to make it to the next meal. If you are hungry and have a snack between meals then that means you didn’t get enough at the previous meal so you know the next day to make adjustments. Lastly I’ve been doing intermittent fasting and would love more info on how to incorporate that into your plan. I know that it’s most impt to start your fast earlier in the evening and not to skip breakfast while getting in at least 12 hours overnight to give your digestive system a break/rest. I try to be done eating dinner by 6:30 PM and I don’t eat anything in the morning until 8-8:30 AM. This way it’s a 12-14 hour fast. Nothing too crazy! I feel great and am doing lab testing in the next couple weeks. Hoping cholesterol comes down a bunch since that is something I personally need to work on. I learned that I don’t crave animal protein as much as I thought I would and the recipes taste great. I also don’t miss red wine! Loved how easy it was to follow and I didn’t struggle trying to meal plan for the week since you did all that work for me.:)
I wanted to be free of caffeine, gluten, meat and sugar for awhile. With the cleanse, I feel lighter although I didn’t lose any weight. I was pretty much eating clean already. I got hungry but the snacks were great. My Vitamix has gotten a workout, so glad I got one. I definitely feel better and am enjoying cooking more.
My MIL recently started a plant based diet and has seen good results. I wanted to try it as well but needed a meal plan so I joined the cleanse. I was surprised that I wasn’t hungry. I should have compared the recipes more thoroughly with what my family schedule was because I ended up falling off the meal plan/prep wagon by week 2. I definitely slept better.
The only reason the winter cleanse gets 4 stars from me is because it is difficult to accommodate a lunch smoothie at work. I preferred the Autumn Plant-Based Cleanse, in which the dinner makes 2 servings, one of which is lunch the next day. It made the process much easier. Thank you so much for this, I love your recipes and the inspiration of the cleanses. I found this difficult due to the time it took to prep, having to make 2 smoothies in the morning to take to work, feeling unsatisfied with drinking my lunch. I was hungry, but attributed it to still doing my usual workouts and just needing more calories. The weekly prep is always helpful but I didn’t participate in group check ins or coaching calls. Definitely decreases my sugar cravings and back to using my blender more. I love the meal recipes and will be incorporating many of them in to my regular rotations. Thank you!
I joined to the cleanse my attitude and commitment to mindful eating. I enjoyed participating in the cleanse. I’d like the idea of breaking into three units and appreciated the coaching sessions that kept me on track following the Plan I discovered and repeat several of the recipes that were included in the food plans during the cleanse. Weekly prep guides were extremely helpful and also let me know. It was OK to modify as long as I stayed within the framework of the cleanse. I was never hungry. In fact I had to be careful not to o eat. What I learn was I could eat properly within the framework of the cleanse and this morning when I went to add something that wasn’t on the list for this week I comfortably stated myself not this week My hope is that I continue to use what I learned to eat healthier. I lost 5 1/2 pounds and created and reinforced better eating patterns I am committing to try to drink more water. Somehow that gets pushed to the back burner and to exercise more I feel much better knowing that I succeeded in my commitment to the plan for the cleanse. A bonus for me is my doctor removed another medication. I am more confident in my ability to eat healthier
I am turning 76 this year. My mother’s side of the family is prone to developing Alzheimer’s. I started yoga classes at age 62 and am now a 500 hour yoga teacher. I want to do everything I can to age gracefully, in a healthy manner. I want to stay strong, vibrant and aware. The first week of this cleanse showed me how much more energy I could have, just from eating healthy foods, I was eating a lot of food, and losing weight. I was never hungry. I love the way this program is put together. I started with the grocery list, and gathered as many ingredients as I could find. I studied the prepping section and made my Detox Tea for the week. I peeled and chopped and prepped and froze as many things as possible. After that the week went easier and the meals easier to prepare. My husband and I both ate from one recipe and it was enough to feed both of us. This was well worth the money I paid to join. I want to continue with this healthy lifestyle as much as it fits into my daily schedule. The extra energy is worth it. I have signed up for the maintenance program.
I joined the cleanse because I wanted to learn some healthy recipes and how to incorporate them…and lose weight 🙂 While going through the cleanse, I was amazed at how good the food tasted and all the different flavors I have been missing! The food was excellent and the information on how to prep and incorporate this into my life was incredible. I couldn’t do the whole cleanse because of a vacation with my siblings, but I still learned an incredible amount and everything exceeded my expectations. The support of Jen, the staff and the community was truly unbelievable. Being able to ask questions and seeing what others were doing with the same recipes was fantastic. I am eagerly anticipating doing the next cleanse! And using Rawk the Year until then… I am happy that even though I wasn’t able to do the whole cleanse this time, I did lots of it, learned lots, have some wonderful new healthy recipes that I love. I have been a vegetarian for more than 30 years, but knew little about vegetables! I am thrilled that now I have a sound base for becoming a healthy plant eater. Thanks over and over again!
This is my second cleanse and I absolutely love it/them. The ease of shopping, the delicious meals, the weight loss and how I feel doing it. Couldn’t be better! I’m 74 and have found it’s difficult to lose weight until Rawk… The weight loss has helped my knees so I’m not looking at surgery now 👏 Just so impressed with everything about the cleanse.
I have done the 7-day cleanse previously, but never the 21-day cleanse. I am borderline diabetic, so I wanted to try a cleanse and then get back on track with my Rawkstar menus. I did end up with a slight headache almost the entire first 2 weeks, but nothing too terrible. I really enjoyed the majority of the recipes and typically found there was too much food for me to consume. Feeling great now and have already prepped for this weeks meal plan. I had quite a number of temptations throughout the three weeks, but I didn’t cave until the Halloween Party this past Saturday (and it certainly could have been worse), so I am proud of that.
I have IBS. My gut can swing out of balance and my IBS acts up. I did this cleanse mainly for my gut health. Hoped to lose a few pounds. Which I’m pretty sure I did but I’m not one to get on the scale, just makes me angry most of the time. Rather I go by how my clothes are fitting and how I feel. I felt great within a couple days of starting this. I eat pretty healthy most of the time, so it wasn’t too big an adjustment for me.. What I missed most was salmon and mixed alcoholic drinks. Especially socializing with friends. I plan to limit my alcohol going forward to 2-4 drinks in a weekend. I do find I bloat and my gut retaliates if I have too many cocktails in a weekend. Otherwise I plan to continue to eat mostly plant based from now on.
I did this cleanse to have a bit of a reset. I’ve had a really tough first half of the year and I have been put under some very testing circumstances that made me question my strength and my mental agility. Not to mention the effect it had on my personal wellbeing – both mentally and physically. I was not in a good place and this cleanse came into my life at the right point. I truly needed it. When I was going through the 21 day cleanse I felt ready, determined and most of all supported (I was glad to say I was never hungry either!) I could really see the results by week 2 which just kept me on the path to completion. I never really found that I was missing much, aside from maybe one or two days here and there. Now at the end of week 3 I feel incredible. I genuinely have changed some habits as a result of this cleanse. I am really so much happier and stronger and more energised. I feel so healthy again. I’m so proud for not cheating throughout. I stuck to it. I gave it my all and even when out with friends I didn’t falter from my goal. I’m so proud of that because that is usually an area I struggle in.
I joined the cleanse to feel better. A extended summer vacation left me feeling sluggish and bloated. Last year’s autumn cleanse was my motivation to get an annual membership. Some of the recipes like the potato soup, healing beet soup, and Thai curry were exciting to look forward to. They were favorites from last year. I made extra and froze meals for my family and I to enjoy next month. I dropped a few pounds and the bloat is gone. I’m proud for sticking to the program until a family member’s hospital stay derailed my plans a bit. Still, I did not crave unhealthy choices or sugar so I did pretty well adhering to the guidelines when making takeout choices. I am grateful that I came across this plant based lifestyle program.
