Banana Peach Smoothie Ingredients

This smoothie uses a small handful of ingredients that blend into a smooth, lightly sweet drink with a soft, creamy texture.

  • Spinach blends easily and adds a mild leafy green vegetable boost without changing the flavor much.
  • Water helps everything blend smoothly while keeping the smoothie light and refreshing
  • Peaches bring natural sweetness and a soft, juicy flavor that makes this smoothie bright and refreshing. Using frozen peaches also helps create a thicker texture.
  • Banana adds natural creaminess and rounds out the fruit flavors. Using half a banana keeps the smoothie balanced while still smooth and freeze bananas for future smoothies while you’re at it.

I made this smoothie and it was just eh okay. Doesn’t matter though because I’m glad that I am trying new things and they are healthy, so yay me!

    1. You are so right Michelle! Trying new healthy things is the such an awesome step! Next time, def give the recipe a tweak to make it more to your taste. Better to add a bit more peach or banana if that works for you than to not blend greens at all. 🙂

    1. Totally makes eating your veggies way easier, right Karen? Yay!!! Way to rawk it! 🙂

  2. Day 1 smoothie was delicious. I added plant protein powder to it as well as coconut oil and chia seeds. Off to a great start.

  3. Well, this was interesting! So yummy with the addition of a slice of ginger and a tablespoon of almond butter. Awesome and creamy!

    1. Love that you added some ginger here Dianna. Pro move!

I used avocado instead of banana, as I prefer my smoothies less sweet – and with the addition of ginger I found this a very pleasant smoothie

This is my first smoothie from the 10-day challenge so I’ve got nothing else to compare it to hence my 3/5 rating. It’s definitely a pass, light and refreshing doesn’t taste like you’re eating spinach.

    1. Can’t wait for you to try rawkin some more green smoothies, Liz! Bet you’ll love them all! 🙂

Maybe I’m making it not quite right, but I find the spinach taste a little too obvious, and not enough peach. Maybe adding more then a cup of peach?

    1. You can totally adjust the recipe to your preferences. To avoid more natural sugar by adding more peach, try backing down the spinach a bit and adding more as you become more accustomed to it.

It’s OK on its own, I used frozen fruit but think it needs more peach as it was very light flavor, added vanilla protein & chia seed. The vanilla helped hide the spinach taste

    1. The recipes are great because you can tweak them to your tastes. 🙂

  7. I didn’t have peaches but I had mango. It is a simple smoothie but had great flavor.

Great start to the smoothie challenge! Glad to read this combination is low on the glycemic scale, yet still tastes delicious. I did not have enough ripe or frozen peaches so I added some frozen cantaloupe, as well as black chia seeds and pea protein powder. Cheers to health!
