Smoothie Challenge Reviews
What past challengers say after a week of smoothies.
I joined for the accountability weight loss to support my mental and gut health etc. I liked all of the recipes. I have more energy I am craving less sweets and I lost 3 lbs. I was replacing my lunch or dinner eith a smoothie and I was fasting + No sugar low carb diet. I will continue to do the same. I am proud of myself because I managed to start a healthy lifestyle. Without this challenge I know that I was going to keep postponing the start date for a healthier life. I would need to push myself to start exercising to add to the healthy lifestyle. That is a change I must make.
I joined to get a better blend on my smoothies with many options. Loved all the recipes. My body does not hurt with the many anti-inflammatory additions of Turmeric and Ginger to each smoothie. The week made me choose my meals wisely.
I wanted to try different smoothies. I make smoothies between 4-6 times per week but they are usually very similar (ingredient wise). This made me branch out of my comfort zone with different ingredients (veggies fruit ginger yogurt etc). I loved it. I loved some of the recipes more than others but I made and drank them ALL! This is me first challenge and I wasn’t expecting sooo many people to be in the challenge. Wow! I will definitely try these recipes again and I may vary a few that I thought were a bit difficult to swallow. Thank you for hosting this challenge and for sharing your recipes!
I wanted to try new smoothies…I liked 6 out of 7 of them I want to win a new blender!!! Here I am taking a cat nap in the sunshine…too cold to go outside!!!
I wanted to see what these smoothies were all about! Yes I liked the recipes. They were pretty easy. I was surprised how filling they truly are.
I joined because I have traveled this road for quite some time; I Love how I feel incorporating smoothies in my life!
I joined to push myself to make daily and try new smoothies. It was nice to give the recipes a try, however only found a couple I truly liked a lot. I think it encourages me to eat healthier and think about my food choices more. No change.
I joined because I love simple green smoothies challenges that she does. I also had gotten out of the habit of making a smoothie everyday and this challenge was a great way for me to start making them again. I loved trying all the recipes and will be making some of them again. This challenge has made me feel great..more energy and not wanting any sugary stuff. I am proud of myself for getting up every morning and making a smoothie even though it has been freezing cold here. I wouldn’t change anything with this challenge and look forward to doing another one!!!
Jen, it was a great week of spending just a little bit of time with you and your community that you have created. What a wonderful experience to get people on track to a healthier new year. Thank you.
My wife is going through chemotherapy and at times a smoothie is more palatable. I wanted some ideas to make a variety of drinks. Let’s do it again!
This challenge was my kickstart to get back to healthy eating and habits. It was fun and the recipes were delicious.
I really liked most of the smoothies. The challenge pushed me to try some smoothies that I wouldn’t normally.
I enjoy the smoothie challenge and have joined several times now. I love how the recipes help me introduce new foods that I might not try and teaches me how to create smoothies. This year was the best year for me I made few modifications to the recipes – except always adding spinach. I’m going to use more turmeric and ginger in my life and continue with vegetables. I haven’t purchased any of the deals mostly because I’m wintering away from my regular home and can’t transport back extra stuff.
I always love to find new smoothie recipes. I did not deviate from the recipe as posted but, going forward I can adjust them for my taste. It was really nice to meet other smoothie lovers and the community was very welcoming and friendly.
I needed to get back to making smoothies a regular part of my routine. This also helps me try new and different combinations. I really enjoyed all the recipes and feel like I’m back on track! The seven day duration is great for me, I tend to get distracted with longer challenges.
