    OK – I reviewed the recipe and realised I missed the almonds! I think this would have improved the taste for me.. Maybe the blueberries weren’t flavourful – they were fresh that I’d had in the fridge for a few days – so maybe not the best either.. I’d try again – but it was a little bland for me..

    This smoothie was different than I expected. It was filling, but my smoothie came out a little too watery and was a very dark unappetizing color. It may not have been the blueberries that I used. In terms of the taste, it was good. I enjoyed the natural sweetness.

    Don’t let the color put you off. It is incredibly dark. I am a tubie and thought I would be fighting the texture to get it through the tubes, but I did not have to fight it at all (I was relieved). If you have reservations about odd colors, probably don’t start with this one. It is a very filling smoothie.
