There is something refreshing about green tea. And sometimes, you just want to take your green smoothie to the next level or give it that extra kick. This simple green tea smoothie is just the thing to brighten your day. Adding green tea to your smoothie can give it that extra kick you want and what a great way to get some added antioxidants into our bodies. I love using organic matcha green tea powder to make my green tea. I like DoMatcha and Republic of Tea. There are many other great green teas out there to choose from, so choose what’s best for you (and please share in comments below!). You can definitely use bagged tea as well.
Below is the recipe for Simple Green Tea Smoothie… I really love the combination of these ingredients in this smoothie. Super delicious! We are on the cusp of something great and wonderful by spreading the word about green smoothies and raw food.
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1 cup green tea (brewed)
- 1 1/2 cups green grapes
- 1 banana (frozen)
- 1 cup mango
- Freeze your banana overnight
- Blend all the ingredients together in a high speed blender until smooth and enjoy.
