This smoothie would be better if it had spinach in it. I get trying to rotate greens, but a whole thing of bok choy just doesn’t do it for me. This would be 5 stars with spinach!

    • SGS Rawkstar Jess says:

The best part about these recipes is that you can change them to suit your tastebuds. So def make this one with spinach if that’s what you like! 😀

  2. Heather G. says:

This one looks DELICIOUS and simple! I think I overcrowd my smoothie which makes it not taste fruity, what do you think?

    1/2 cup spinach
    1/2 cup argula
    1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
    1/2 cup water
    3/4 of a banana
    1 cup strawberries
    1/4 Avocado
1 tbsp organic rice protein nutribiotic
    stevia to sweeten
    1/4 cup chia seeds
    1 tbsp goji powder

PS. do I need Chia seeds or goji or flax or cacao powder or maca powder to get the energy in a smoothie? I feel as if i dont have these things everyday, (2 at a time at least) I do not feel energetic throughout the day. i start to feel tired mid day without them. but i haven’t tried a smoothie without these superfoods in fear of falling asleep. any info will help. i need to lose 40 lbs and want to be healthy and make smoothies a life choice. i just bought a vitamix, can’t wait for it to come to make better smoothies, just shipped 🙂 and plz reply to my email. Wish to become like friends, i have no one to help me. and am enjoying eating like this, I just had a salad i thought id never try in a million yrs 🙂

    Thank You,
    Heather

  3. sue says:

hi: Just made the strawberry refresher smoothie with spinach.
Taste was good, but it turned brown. I don’t think I can get my 11 year old daughter to drink a brown smoothie. Any suggestions??

  4. Sharon says:

Can I use a mix of baby kale, chard and spinach instead of just 2 cups of spinach or bok choy?

  5. Sarah says:

Can I replace the bok choy with spinach?

    • SGS Rawkstar says:

Even my 13 year old son likes this smoothie. Lovely flavour.

  7. Nikki says:

For this recipe, do you use just the green leafy parts of the bok choy, or the whole thing including the white parts?

    • SGS Rawkstar says:

      HI Nikki,

Thank you so much for reaching out! We love blending the entire bok choy, both the green leaves + white stem.
