This challenge is for you if…
Ten days, ten salads, and the shopping already worked out. Here’s who it’s really for.
Your salads have gone boring
The same leaves and bottled dressing every time. Ten days of recipes that taste like you meant it.
You want a real meal, not a side
Pasta salads, grain bowls, roasted vegetables — hearty enough to be lunch and dinner.
You want more vegetables in your day
The easiest way to eat a lot of them, without turning the oven on most nights.
You hate wasting produce
One grocery list for the whole ten days, so the greens get used before they turn.
Lunch is the meal you skip
Something ready in the fridge beats whatever is quickest at one o’clock.
You like doing it with other people
A challenge with a start date, daily emails, and a crowd doing it alongside you.
What’s inside the challenge
Ten days of salads worth looking forward to, with the thinking already done.

Menu
10-day salad menu
A new one every day — Healthy Taco, Vegan Potato, Kale Caesar, Bright Berry. Each serves two, so dinner leaves lunch behind.

Groceries
One grocery list
Split across two trips, days 1–5 and 6–10, so the spinach never turns before you reach it.

Prep
A salad prep guide
Dressings made ahead in little jars, vegetables chopped and waiting. Then it is grab, toss and eat.

Emails
Motivation emails
Encouragement, quick tips and reminders from me, start to finish. We’re in this together.

Fuel your passion
It started with one green smoothie. That was the whole plan — one a day, every day, and let it add up. I was exhausted, stressed out and frustrated with my body, and a smoothie was the one thing I could manage.
Smoothies turned into soups, soups turned into salads, and eventually it turned into this. Somewhere along the way I stopped surviving each day and started living it — a backyard family farm, running across the Grand Canyon twice in a single day, hiking to the top of the tallest waterfall in North America with my kids.
What I’ve learned from all of it is that repetition and focus are what make results happen. So ten days of salads, one after another, will get you good at this — confident making salads that are filling, full of flavor, and that actually taste good.

FAQs
Two. Enjoy one for dinner and the other as lunch leftovers the next day, or do the challenge with someone and have exactly the right amount each day. The shopping list is worked out on that basis.
So your produce doesn’t go bad. You buy only what you need for the first five days, then shop again for days six to ten. There’s nothing enjoyable about opening a bag of rancid spinach.
Both, and that’s deliberate. Fruit salads, potato salads, garden salads — some are filling enough to be dinner on their own, others are better alongside something. It’s up to you which way you take each one.
Yes, and I’d recommend it. Make the dressings ahead and keep them in small airtight containers, and chop most of the vegetables and fruit in advance — just wait to wash until you’re ready to eat. Three recipes want nuts soaked the night before, so set a phone reminder.
Not at all. Keep drinking one right through the challenge — I will. The more plants, the merrier.
A ten-day salad menu, a done-for-you grocery list split across the two shopping trips, a salad prep guide, a full-colour interactive PDF, and a motivation email from me each day. It’s yours to keep and cook from again.

What people say after ten days of salads.
Delicious healthiness
Liked the variety of salads and was surprised at how good they tasted.
ALL the salad fixins!
One of the greatest things about this 10-Day Challenge has been the diversity of the salad recipes! It allowed me to learn new salads to incorporate into our dinner/lunch rotation. Though I did adapt a few of the recipes (I don’t eat dairy), and did have one evening where I replaced that day’s salad with a salad at a restaurant (Ginger Chicken salad), the rest of the days were easy breezy! Thank you!
Awesome
Really enjoyed trying new recipes for my vitamix! Thanks for putting this together and opening it up to the public!
Run for the Salad
Love, love love!! this challenge. First, I love most any salad, but have been hesitant to try some ingredients in the past. I pushed myself, and found I could have a taco salad without meat. The Vegan Taco Salad was my favorite overall, but the Potato Salad came in a very close second. By reading other comments from fellow Rawkers, I have added new variations to many of the salads for future use. Oh, the commitment to move 1 mile a day was big for me. I even joined a swim class and feel the need to move all day long. I do better at all things in life when being challenged. This 10-Day Salad Challenge, along with the Run the Edge Challenge gave me the fire I needed to get active and stay active. Although a grocery bill may be higher for a challenge such as this if you don’t have many ingredients on hand, I saved quite a bit of money not eating out for lunch. Plus, my lunch was healthier and tastier.
great challenge
The challenge helped me to get healthier and feel better.
Rockin’ with smoothies!!
Started out feeling a bit sluggish and less than motivated. Gave it a try and each day got better and better! Highly recommend! Finished up rockin’ it and feeling great!
Tried new things & loved it
It was great to try new things with recipes that were easy to follow – I’ll definitely be making some of these recipes again!
A clean start
The program was a good way to learn to eat different veggies. I would not thought of pairing fruit with arugula. It was fun to make your own dressings and I will continue to make my own. Cashews are now a great way to make cream based recipes.
Salad Champion
This challenge was the best I have ever tried. The salads were so different and the dressings were tasty and not high in calories. I love it and I will make these salads again for sure.
Finally having my family agree to try avocados in salads.
My family agreed to at least try the salads I made every night. I wrote down their comments, and made notes about what their favorites were. The two girls liked avocados in the salads. I liked/loved all the salads.
I feel like a bunny!
This really delivered the energy, mental clarity and delicious pleasure that I needed to get through dreary March in Quebec.
Rawking salads
This 10 day salad challenge was a great boost for me on my journey to add more fruits and veggies to my diet. Since a member of my household can’t eat raw greens, I rarely make green salads. This challenge encouraged me to incorporate them into regular lunches for myself. My favorite salads in this challenge are the Sweet & Crunchy Salad and the Bright Berry Salad. Thank you for developing this challenge!
Salads for Days
This was a great opportunity to try new flavours and new dishes. I would recommend taking part in this challenge. Go with an open mind and you will be rewarded!
Saladtacular
This challenge was a nice incentive to get out everyday, even when it was cold. The salad recipes are unique and add variety to the usual meals I normally have.
A wonderful variety for a newbie salad seeker
This challenge came at a perfect time. I have been wanting to eat more wholesome, nutritious foods in my diet, but I’ve never found that gratification in salads. My problem has been not knowing what ingredients to mix in and put together, especially when it comes to dressings. I have avoided salads because I like fattening dressings and have missed out because of it. My favorite salads were the sweet and crunchy, the pasta salad, and the taco salad. None of them tasted alike, which was nice. The only problem I had was that I live in a very small town and we do not get all of the ingredients at our local store to make all of these salads. Some of the salads I had to leave ingredients out and don’t feel I got the full experience, but I did incorporate more healthy foods and got several recipes I will keep for future delicious choices. Thank you for this awesome challenge!
