This challenge is for you if…
Ten days, ten salads, and the shopping already worked out. Here’s who it’s really for.
Your salads have gone boring
The same leaves and bottled dressing every time. Ten days of recipes that taste like you meant it.
You want a real meal, not a side
Pasta salads, grain bowls, roasted vegetables — hearty enough to be lunch and dinner.
You want more vegetables in your day
The easiest way to eat a lot of them, without turning the oven on most nights.
You hate wasting produce
One grocery list for the whole ten days, so the greens get used before they turn.
Lunch is the meal you skip
Something ready in the fridge beats whatever is quickest at one o’clock.
You like doing it with other people
A challenge with a start date, daily emails, and a crowd doing it alongside you.
What’s inside the challenge
Ten days of salads worth looking forward to, with the thinking already done.

Menu
10-day salad menu
A new one every day — Healthy Taco, Vegan Potato, Kale Caesar, Bright Berry. Each serves two, so dinner leaves lunch behind.

Groceries
One grocery list
Split across two trips, days 1–5 and 6–10, so the spinach never turns before you reach it.

Prep
A salad prep guide
Dressings made ahead in little jars, vegetables chopped and waiting. Then it is grab, toss and eat.

Emails
Motivation emails
Encouragement, quick tips and reminders from me, start to finish. We’re in this together.

Fuel your passion
It started with one green smoothie. That was the whole plan — one a day, every day, and let it add up. I was exhausted, stressed out and frustrated with my body, and a smoothie was the one thing I could manage.
Smoothies turned into soups, soups turned into salads, and eventually it turned into this. Somewhere along the way I stopped surviving each day and started living it — a backyard family farm, running across the Grand Canyon twice in a single day, hiking to the top of the tallest waterfall in North America with my kids.
What I’ve learned from all of it is that repetition and focus are what make results happen. So ten days of salads, one after another, will get you good at this — confident making salads that are filling, full of flavor, and that actually taste good.

FAQs
Two. Enjoy one for dinner and the other as lunch leftovers the next day, or do the challenge with someone and have exactly the right amount each day. The shopping list is worked out on that basis.
So your produce doesn’t go bad. You buy only what you need for the first five days, then shop again for days six to ten. There’s nothing enjoyable about opening a bag of rancid spinach.
Both, and that’s deliberate. Fruit salads, potato salads, garden salads — some are filling enough to be dinner on their own, others are better alongside something. It’s up to you which way you take each one.
Yes, and I’d recommend it. Make the dressings ahead and keep them in small airtight containers, and chop most of the vegetables and fruit in advance — just wait to wash until you’re ready to eat. Three recipes want nuts soaked the night before, so set a phone reminder.
Not at all. Keep drinking one right through the challenge — I will. The more plants, the merrier.
A ten-day salad menu, a done-for-you grocery list split across the two shopping trips, a salad prep guide, a full-colour interactive PDF, and a motivation email from me each day. It’s yours to keep and cook from again.

Renewed Love for Salads
I enjoyed this challenge. My favorite was the taco salad. I’m going to try to continue eating one salad a day!
Seriously Salads
I liked the challenge ok. Some of the items were hard for me to find. I also don’t like many foods so if I couldn’t find something or didn’t like what was on the recipe I substituted.
Yummo Salad Challenge
I am a salad gal, but definitely got out of my comfort zone with these 10 salads! The Healthy Taco Salad was my favorite, but I loved the Lemon Arugula and the Sweet and Crunchy were close runners up! I definitely have 10 new salads in my rotation, helping me eat more veggies!
It changed my mind
I am definitely not a salad person, but I am training for a hundred mile race at 52 and I need everything to be in my favor. I joined this sceptically but now. I am glad I joined. The healthy dressings and ways of adding protein and fat to make them more of a complete meal are very helpful. I will definitely be referencing the recipes in the future. Thanks for organizing this.
More and more like a spring chicken!
I am loving the salads… and the thought of the salads to come. Thank you for opening up my mind to all that is possible. I look forward to bringing a salad to work for lunch every day.
Salads galore
I loved this challenge, I have bee looking for new salads to try and I now have 10! they were all amazing I will be using them all regularly.
So much fun!
I loved this challenge!! It gave me the opportunity to try ingredients in combinations I never would have considered otherwise. My family enjoyed it so much that my son asked if we could find more salad recipes to try to keep going!! A lot of these salads are going to be staples in our meal rotation. I also liked the pairing with fitness as that is just as important as our food we ingest.
Running on plants
I can’t live a day without a salad, so although this challenge didn’t convince me to eat more salads, it definitely brought a refresh to my daily salad routine. For example, I normally don’t add fresh berries to my salads, I was also challenged to use more fresh herbs and use lemon juice more often (instead of vinegar.) The kale Caesar salad is my favorite and is definitely a winner in this challenge, so good even non vegans would fall for it.
Never Boring!!
I signed up through Run the Year before I realized it conflicted with a trip out of town! Instead of scrapping it altogether, I started the 1st week early so as to complete it before I went for a long girls weekend. I’ve started week 2 when I got home, and I’ll go back and repeat week one so it’s a full two weeks in a row. The salad & dressing recipes are AMAZING! My husband loves salads, but I’ve always made basic type – romaine, tomato, cucumber, broccoli, onion, mushrooms. Getting him to try these was not hard and he loved them!! So much so that he made sure I kept the recipes. I look forward to doing this again and again and also incorporating them into our regular routine.
Healthy Eating!
I really enjoyed doing the 10-day challenge. I loved the recipes. Not all of them came out how I wanted, but I at least got a taste of what they should be like and am able to vary thump in the future to suit my own tastes and needs. I know that I ate healthier during this challenge than I usually do despite the fact that I eat plant-based all the time. I am looking forward to making the recipes I received a part of my regular diet from now on and it helps me to have more salad dishes to use.
Great challenge
I really enjoyed participating in this challenge. I found some new recipes that I really liked and where I really excelled was with the fitness portion of the challenge. I got motivated to do extra exercise and feel better for my efforts. I am really grateful for these challenges – I have done a few of them now. They are fun and motivating. Thank you so much!!
Amazing awareness
I really enjoyed the challenge of preparing different salads every day. It gave me the opportunity to try vegetables that I have never eaten before. I didn’t think that I would like the taco salad because I don’t enjoy Mexican food, it’s too spicy for me. But the taco salad was filling delicious and not too spicy. The only challenge I didn’t like, was what to do with my extra herbs. I made some tabouli which it helped with the mint and parsley. Thanks for giving me an opportunity for trying new foods. I will enjoy these salads in the future.
