Soup Challenge Reviews
Participants say they’re more excited to cook, discovered new family favorites, and even batch-cooked to freeze meals for months. With simple prep and flexible recipes, you’ll see that healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated.
The vegan potato soup was very tasty. I was worried because my family usually prefers a very hearty meal and they all enjoyed this very much.
So very good!
New ingredients. New tastes. Thanks for offering me a fun way to break out of my usual soup recipes.
A souper tasty challenge
When this Autumn Soup Challenge popped up it was great timing! I had just retired and this challenge kept me busy and focused and I had plenty of time to work through the recipes. I loved the shopping lists so I had all the ingredients on hand with no stress of last minute shopping. The recipes were so easy and I loved reading the extra notes and comments online. I will definitely join another challenge in the future. My favorite was the Vegan Tomato Soup! Enjoying my new kitchen this year and I’m getting used to where everything is located!
Souper Douper Challenge!
Picking a favorite is impossible — they were all delish!
Having ten new soup recipes is fabulous! Being all plant-based, huge BONUS!
Sharing photos with family and friends was fun. Some are choosing more plant-based meals. I love it!
Doing this challenge with the community RAWKED! Seeing daily posts of bowls of yummy soups, the many tips and ideas, kept me motivated and connected to the community. AWESOME!
Looking forward to the next challenge. Thank you Rawkstar Team!
Soup-er Fun!
Thank you for a great challenge. I enjoyed the variety and motivation to try new recipes. The bonus was filling my freezer with leftovers! I realize that I’m not a big fan of coconut based soup. The minestrone was a surprise favourite. Thanks again!
Soup-er delicious challenge!
I livres trying new recipes with ingredients I wouldn’t think of like peas of lentils. This is perfect to get ideas for fall and winter!
Fun way to try recipes
This challenge was fantastic. It pushes your cooking boundaries by giving you new flavor combinations and ingredients you might not normally use in your kitchen. The soups were easy to prepare and fun to eat. The ideas from other participants were the best part. Being a part of something healthy and challenging and ending up with some great meals is the way to keep life interesting.
Daily fun with soup
The soup challenge exceeded my expectations. Not only did I get really delicious recipes to test out, but my level of confidence in the kitchen increased. Especially when my family would ask, “what are you making tomorrow?” I quickly learned that I needed to make larger batches to sustain their appetites. It was such a delight to cook for the family and watch them enjoy and savour the different flavours that they were not accustomed to. This opportunity was so much fun and I look forward to other challenges in the near future. You can never go wrong when you use wonderful and healthy ingredients.
A Soup a Day Does The Body Good
I love soups and great fun healthy new soups is a huge hit for me. Due to harvest season of combining corn & beans, I was unable to review like I would’ve liked, but looking forward to slower winter days with one of these new delicious soups, a fireplace, and a cozy winter.
Thanks for all the great recipes!
Soup. Winter. Fireplace. Cozy.
I loved all the soups. It’s really hard to pick a favorite but I will be making them all again. Just not for 10 days in a row!!! LOL
I have a freezer full of healthy soups for the fall/winter and that is something that I’m very happy about. I appreciate the recipes and the support in the challenge.
thanks!!!!!!
This was a Souper (Super) Challenge
I loved the soup challenge. So many delicious recipes, even the soups which weren’t my favorites tasted very good. Many of the soups will be keepers for sure.It wasn’t really a challenge for me because it was soooo delicious.
A very delicious challenge
I made them all! I have plenty of leftovers in the freezer for lunches and a few dinners. I loved all of them, but the best part was watching my husband eat all of them. He even said don’t lose the recipes so I can make them again. They were all so easy to adapt to your own taste.
Thanks for the recipes and challenge!
SOUPER SPECIAL WEEK
I really enjoyed this challenge. Recipes were delicious, different and easy. Love the simplicity: grocery lists and straight-forward recipes with easy to find ingredients and simple instructions. Lots of new soups to fill my freezer for those days I don’t feel like cooking.
Bieler’s Broth was the biggest surprise. I didn’t expect to like it, but it’s one I would happily come back to over and over, especially after vacation or holidays when you need something light and easy after days of heavy meals and treats.
Soup’s On: Fun Fall Whole Food Challenge
I was excited to participate in this challenge. I shop in a bunch of different markets and used them all + my pantry to get the challenge done. I learned where a lot of new ingredients are located! My family got a kick out of me making all the soups and was (mostly) delighted to give them a try. I love that I had left overs to freeze making busy nights more pleasant. Most of all I loved upping my game using plant based ingredients. Congratulations to those who put this challenge together.
Supermarket Challenge for the Soup Challenge
I made it through all ten days of the challenge. The benefits were/are numerous. They include the following:
– I now have a very nice new soup pot and utensils.
– I have tried and now know how to use new (to me) foods and spices.
– I have learned new cooking skills and gained confidence in my kitchen.
– I had my first success using my crockpot.
– I learned how and why to make my own vegetable stock.
– I have consumed a lot of good nutrition and feel more energy.
– I have found ways to improve my husband’s nutrition and health – challenging and important.
– I have enough frozen soups to feed me well for a month.
– I am confident that I can make good soups from scratch and will enjoy going creative with all of
the fresh vegetables left over from this challenge.
Thank you so much for all of the above!
Educational, nutritional and tasty fun!
My absolute 100% number One favorite soup is the Hearty Red Lentil soup. The depth of flavors in that soup is unbelievable. For my first time cooking with red lentils – mind blown. I can’t thank you enough!!
It for me is a winner. I loved it so much. I was telling everyone about it. It’s my new favorite soup. I’m adding it to my Christmas Eve dinner menu.
This whole entire experience was Amazing and fun. I’m sad it’s over. I wish there were some more soups to make. I will look at all of the other recipes on the site and try them as well.
I grew up with my Grandmother making soups out of anything and everything. Leftovers go in the pot and we make a soup. You can be so versatile and bring so much flavor and make healthy choices. With fresh vegetables and flavorful broths. Soup is also a great comfort food.
It brings family and friends together.
During this ten day challenge I shared these recipes with family and coworkers. I listed it on my Facebook page to share and inspire others. It’s fun exciting and good food makes people happy. We eat food to live and we should love what we are eating. I am a very visual eater. All of the soups were vibrant in color and beautiful when plated. I enjoy cooking if you have another challenge I would love to do this again. Thank you for sharing your recipes with me and sharing your joy of cooking from your family to ours.
Soup Trooper
Always love the challenges. All of them. Since I was the only one eating the soups (hubby won’t touch em) my freezer is loaded with containers of soup.I could share with my girls…….Nah. It’ll be soup and salad for lunches at work. Thank you for helping to keep us on track with these challenges.
Soup till Spring!
Great new ideas to make soups in a Vitamix. All the recipes are easy to make, modify and create in a Vitamix. The challenge has given me a new lease on life, instead of the same old meals everyday, I can have an easy to prepare soup.
Super Soupy new Ideas
Love the 10 day challenges! My husbands favorite soup is Split Pea and this was a super easy, awesome recipe. Had to add smoked paprika!
My husbands favorite!
