Banana Peach Smoothie Ingredients

This smoothie uses a small handful of ingredients that blend into a smooth, lightly sweet drink with a soft, creamy texture.

  • Spinach blends easily and adds a mild leafy green vegetable boost without changing the flavor much.
  • Water helps everything blend smoothly while keeping the smoothie light and refreshing
  • Peaches bring natural sweetness and a soft, juicy flavor that makes this smoothie bright and refreshing. Using frozen peaches also helps create a thicker texture.
  • Banana adds natural creaminess and rounds out the fruit flavors. Using half a banana keeps the smoothie balanced while still smooth and freeze bananas for future smoothies while you’re at it.

How to Make Banana Peach Smoothie

Making this smoothie is quick and easy, and blending in two steps helps create the smoothest texture. For more in-depth tips on blending it all perfectly, check out my guide on how to make a smoothie. If you need a new blender, check out these blenders for smoothies.

  1. Blend spinach and water until completely smooth. This helps break down the leafy greens and creates a smoother final drink.
  2. Add frozen peaches and banana, then blend again until creamy and smooth.
  3. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately for the best texture and flavor.

Recipe Notes

  • Lower Sugar: Swap the banana for 1/2 avocado for a creamy, less sweet smoothie.
  • Greens Tip: If your spinach wilts before you use it, freeze it. Frozen spinach blends right in and makes the smoothie colder.
  • Milk Swaps: Unsweetened almond or oat milk in place of the water makes a creamier smoothie.
  • Storing: Best fresh, but it keeps in a sealed jar in the fridge for up to 24 hours; shake before drinking. To prep ahead, portion the spinach, peach and banana into frozen smoothie packs, then add water and blend.

This is PERFECT green smoothie for beginners to do! I have been doing green smoothies for about a year now and I personally found it to be a bit to sweet for me. That being said, I still loved it! I also added extra things like chia see, flax seed, and hemp hearts .

This smoothie was very easy to make and was refreshing and light. I used frozen peaches and a frozen banana. It is a pretty green color from the spinach, but I could only taste the fruit. I’m looking forward to trying this again, adding some chia sees, nut butter, yogurt or protein powder.
