Fall Smorgasbord of Smoothies (Challenge)
Just when I think I have tasted and tried every kind of smoothie, Jen Hansard surprises me. Over the past seven days, I have blended things in my smoothies that I would have NEVER thought of putting in a smoothie. Not one smoothie was undrinkable. Every smoothie has been added to my rotation list. This list is getting longer each time I do one of these challenges. Every smoothie is balanced, tastes amazing, and is easy enough for someone to manipulate the ingredients to their needs. I added powdered protein to some of the smoothies when extra heavy on spinach, or added additional seasonings if I felt like it. I prepped each smoothie the weekend before we started, and it was so easy pulling out my baggie and blending. Just what I need, quick and easy. Each smoothie is so full of nutrition and minerals I struggle to get. I love how Jen Hansard plans smoothies and meals through the season. I’m eating foods that are in their prime and best for nutrition and gut health. By drinking these smoothies and following her meal plan, I have noticed so many changes in my physical and mental health that I am cutting out the expense of some vitamins/supplements that I no longer need because I am getting more than enough of these nutrients through whole foods. I can’t say enough about her programs. Start with her smoothies, and you will thank yourself.
Autumn Smoothie Challange
The smoothie challenge is always fun! Jen introduced new ingredients to the smoothies and made them interesting and tasty. I like to have a smoothie in the morning, it makes me feel I’m nourishing my body with simple and healthy ingredients and as a result my days are bright and happy!
Best experience ever
I did the spring cleanse and loved it! It was exactly what I needed to lose this last few pounds, but more than that I felt amazing, in control and a part of a community. I can’t wait to do it again and be a part of the group. It makes a big difference from trying to do it on your own.
Awesome Autumn Smoothie Fun!
I had tons of fun blending new recipes and trying ones I wouldn’t have otherwise. YUM
My favorite was Cinnamon date smoothie
The Swap that worked Persimmon smoothie (didn’t have persimmon so used the mango)
One I was surprised by Green pear smoothie
Thanks for the challenge. I really enjoyed it and look forward to more in the future!
I Learned What I’ve Been Missing!
I had a great time doing this challenged. I don’t have a lot of time to eat right and I often rely on store bought protein shakes and convenience foods. I’ve learned so much about different things to put in smoothies and I found out that with a properly stocked pantry, they were quick and easy! Now, instead of grabbing something processed, I just dump a few things in the blender and make a smoothie! I’m eating fresh foods, more fiber, and I’ve upped my protein game. I feel great!
Fell in love with my blender again
This was really a challenge for me, from the specific grocery list (huge help!), taking out my blender, incorporating a smoothie each day in my weekly meal plans, and sharing my reviews with family because I was so excited. I was reminded that I can eat healthier with real foods at house and not spend money on expensive pre-made “green juices or smoothies.” My surprising favorite was the cinnamon date and my top 3 are the sweet potato, chocolate cherry, and green pear. All the recipes were easy to follow, no extra prep time needed, and flexible to swap ingredients. I’m really glad I took on the challenge and feel more empowered to continue making smarter meal choices.
Autumn Smoothie Challenge
This challenge was a challenge for me because it introduced me to different ingredients that I don’t typically use: sweet potato which eas a delicious smoothie, I didn’t use the oats to make it lower carb, I used 1/4 avocado, I Didn’t use oat milk, I usually use skim milk, I did t use dates to lower the sugar content, I couldn’t find persimmons anywhere in any store so I used a fresh ripe mango, I didn’t use dates in the cinnamon roll smoothie, I used a peach , 1/4 avocado, I added protein powder and chia seeds and spinach to all The smoothies for my pre workout breakfast replacement. My favourites smoothie was the chocolate one, I only used 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder.
Good variety!
I normally get overwhelmed and stressed trying to keep up with daily challenges of any kind and since I find myself unable/unwilling to complete them I rarely even try them at all. That being said, I took a leap and signed up for the Autumn smoothie challenge and truly enjoyed it! I actually found myself looking forward to what new smoothie I was going to try next and made space on my counter for my Vitamix instead of keeping it hidden away in the cabinet. I am so proud of myself that I was able to complete every day with the exception of day 6 due to persimmon fruit that I couldn’t get to ripen fast enough. I found several new recipes that will go into rotation and learned a few things too. For instance, I never knew how to know when a pear was ripe until reading through how to make the Green Pear Smoothie. I have always stayed away from pears because the ones I chose were always gritty and didn’t taste good, but now I can pick pears with confidence! Thank you Jen for your beautiful website, thoughtful instruction, your commitment to this community and encouragement that inspires us all.
Loved the whole week of smoothies!
My absolute favorite smoothie was the chocolate cherry, although the apple pie one was a close second. I rarely have warm smoothies, and that one really hit the mark on a cold, rainy morning.
Autumn Smoothie Challenge
All of the smoothies were delicious! I think my favorite was the chia fruit and the chocolate cherry! The challenge was easy to follow with a daily email with the recipe for that day! Plus easy substitutions/addins! Love it!
So Many New Favorites
This smoothie challenge was the best! Very innovative and delish recipes. Thank you!
2026 Autumn Smoothie Challenge Review
This challenge got me in a rhythm of making daily smoothies. Just the push I needed! My husband and I tried all seven smoothies.
My favorite smoothie – a tie between the Chocolate Cherry Smoothie and the Pear Smoothie. My husband’s favorite was the Persimmon Smoothie.
Our least favorite was the Sweet Potato Smoothie
I was most surprised by the Chia Fruit Smoothie. I don’t like “bits” in my drinks. My blender took care of all that, making a smooth, creamy, delicious smoothie.
The one smoothie I made substitutions in was the Persimmon Smoothie. I could not find fresh or frozen persimmons in my local grocery stores, so I used frozen peaches (as per Google’s suggestion). I also didn’t have enough yogurt on hand, so I added enough banana to make a full cup. Surprisingly, this was the smoothie my husband ended up liking the best.
Thank you for helping me get on the road to a healthier diet!

Inspiring Wellness
I Am in my 70’s and still going like the energizer bunny. I have been doing Yoga for over 50 years and when I met my wife late in life, she was the wellness teacher I so look for. We have been inspired to keep from dating doctors as we age.
These smoothies give US and many others guidance to walk the walk.
Thank you
Smoothie challenge
I was only able to try one smoothie, but, I am very interested in your programs. I am going through a difficult time right now. But, when I get back into the routine of things, I would like to try again. Thank you for your awesome website!
