Smoothie Challenge Reviews
What past challengers say after a week of smoothies.
I really enjoyed making the different types of smoothies. And now I have more recipes to follow. All of the smoothie recipes are very healthy and are a good way to start the day. Surprisingly I have been sleeping better which is an added bonus.
I like all the recipes except the leman smoothie. Next time I will reduce the amount of lemon used
I joined because I am always looking for ways to eat better without complicated recipes that will help reduce my joint pain (I’ve had arthritis since childhood and it really has affected my elbows strength & range of motion) lose weight (a 20 lb challenge) and increase my energy/motivation to include daily “exercise”. The recipes were well presented with so many suggestions to adapt them to personal tastes. I really enjoyed hearing how everyone else made them too. I loved how easy you made it to prep with the lists & video! I’m really proud of myself for sticking with the program! If I changed anything it would be perhaps to reduce the fruit and increase the veggies (veggies spoil the pretty colors sometimes). I’m sure you’ve heard it before but you RAWK!😊💪🏻
I joined this challenge because I wanted to try some simple yet tried and true new recipes. I liked every single one!! I can’t say I noticed much physical/mental change as I was already in an almost daily smoothie habit. But I was so happy to try these new recipes and get out of my “rut”!
I love smoothies. I wanted to see if I could learn new ways to make them and get different ideas. I didn’t know that I have done other challenges with you. I have your cookbooks and I did a challenge a few years back. I use your cookbook all the time.
I love doing your challenge as I make smoothies daily and always get great ideas from Rawkstar and the community. I always feel great after drinking a smoothie knowing that it’s healthy and a way to get nutrients that I need. It does take a bit of planning but so worth it and it also helps those of us who are on the go. I never did have success doing the discussion on my iPhone so I had to always use my computer in order to participate in that. One or two days I wasn’t able to do that so I lost out on posting and entries into the challenge for the Vitamin so that was a little disappointing. Hope that can be corrected for next challenge. CHEEERS!
I did not follow it well this week (work stress) but plan to work on trying all the recipes this next week!
I enjoyed trying new recipes and learning how to incorporate veggies into smoothies.
With the challenge deals it wasn’t I did not like them I just watching the budget. I have a Vitamix high speed blender already. Watching the budget for. buying the greens and the 14 day trail wouldn’t let me join because. I have all ready did that a couple years ago. It says looks like you trail is up and shows your. the prices and like I said budgeting. I enjoyed this challenge very much I have a real good time and it. made me feel as though I was taking better care of myself. I joined because I thought I would get new recipes for smoothies. and I did. I liked the idea of using ginger and turmeric because at this time of year it is very beneficial for me as. far as colds and flu go. The only thing I would change is new smoothies I liked the ones this time but I. am always looking for new recipes. Ah Saluté #Challenge Day 7
I’ve joined the challenges in the past and loved them. Honestly I needed a reboot and luck had it that I went to my email that day and there was an announcement of a challenge starting so I joined in. I always feel better when I’m conscious of what I’m putting in my body. Smoothies help that feeling and dedication all day when done in the morning. I have a tendency to expand my smoothie ingredients, typically to make them more green, or just use what I have on hand. This time I pretty much stuck to the recipes or suggestions in the emails. It was a nice treat for myself in so many ways. I got the reboot I needed and am ready to keep it going again. I just feel so much more energy and my body feels happier even though life’s demands on it have remained consistent. Thanks so much! Oh, and the emails each day with additional info about the ingredients, suggested alternatives, etc. were great.
I joined to find new ways to add more fruit and veg to my day. The recipes selected for the challenge were delicious and able to be customised to add extra ingredients. The daily emails with other recipe suggestions are going to help me continue making my daily smoothies beyond the challenge. Great resources.
❤️ the recipes going to repeat this week! Let’s go 🌱💪
I joined because I needed a jump start, and was in a rut. I lost 3 lbs. and confirmed that I need to inject more protein in my diet early in the day. I added powdered protein to each smoothie and it was great. I would have preferred to have your powdered protein recipe earlier in the challenge; 1 week before so I could prepare.
It was amazing! The recipes were easy to follow and the weekly ingredients were budget friendly!
I joined to find smoothie recipes with ingredients that I normally do not include in my smoothies. I did enjoy the smoothie recipes, especially the green and cacao recipes as they included ingredients I normally do not include in my smoothies and each smoothie tasted great! I was happy that I was able to complete the challenge each day. I may have to try the anti-inflammatory smoothies for a longer period as I did not notice any physical changes in my symptoms.
