Smoothie Challenge Reviews
What past challengers say after a week of smoothies.
The BEST part of this happened Wednesday when I picked up my library hold —Jen’s cookbook! My old boss (I retired from there) said he was thrilled when he pulled the book (which I’ll buy now to have forever) for me because for 10 years my smoothies at work were notoriously awful-tasting (I’d put ANYTHING in lol) and was so happy I’d have delicious ones! Man he was right. I’ve been texting him pictures of the week’s smoothies! I think I saw the challenge on Facebook and jumped onto it. It’s changed my whole smoothie game and I am enormously grateful. THANK YOU
Almost anything thing that says the word “challenge” I’m all in. I liked the variety of recipes. I have been satiated w the smoothies. The amount they make is perfect? I would make them more seasonal like autumn/winter and spring/summer.
I enjoy the encouragement
I wanted to try some new smoothie combinations. I would rather use your tried and true recipes than experiment on my own and get a yucky result! I learned new stuff and will use some of the ingredients in my future blending. This challenge came at a good time for me as I had some healing to do from a skin cancer surgery. I’m hoping it will help speed my new skin growth! I can’t think of anything that you would need to change. You cover it all! I enjoy the encouragement and support you offer. I enjoy seeing the pictures and posts from the other participants. You make it easy and all we have to do is put in a little effort to make the recipes. It’s a great plan!! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and passions!
I joined the challenge to see if I could change my lifestyle a bit, adding more plant based food into my diet and busy lifestyle. I really enjoyed the recipes- they were so easy to follow, and tasted fantastic. I had never tried cauliflower or carrots in a smoothie before and was so surprised at how I enjoyed the taste. I definitely would do this type of challenge again.
I joined this challenge to get back to eating clean. Returning to the habit of a starting my day with a smoothie has helped me do that. I eat better all day and have more energy! I’m looking forward to doing a Plant-Based Cleanse next! Thank you for sponsoring this challenge and reminding me to take a small step each day to be a healthier version of myself!
I joined this challenge to reset my breakfast program with healthy options post the holiday. The recipes were very different each day and offered variety in taste and health benefits. I noticed fewer sugar cravings more energy and definitely little to no bloating during the challenge. I even list 2.3lbs! I’m really proud of myself for sticking with this program and participating fully each day in the community. I’d love to see a longer challenge or option to continue with perhaps another 6 days of recipes as I don’t want this to end! I’m super grateful. This has restored my confidence in knowing I do have discipline to complete a challenge! Bonus was the low cost of food for this challenge: less than $40 USD for a weeks worth of smoothie ingredients with food to spare! Can’t beat the economics of this program.
I needed a way to jump start a more healthy eating routine. This was the way to go. I found the recipes easy to make and delicious. This process is helping me control my cravings and eat much healthier food. I am a Rawk star member and find the menus grocery lists and recipes a fantastic tool. My favorite find in this challenge was the chocolate peanut butter smoothie. It filled me up and satisfied my nasty chocolate craving.
I loved this challenge. It really helped me dial in how to make a single serving smoothie with great taste and great texture. In the past I have struggled with too many ingredients resulting in too many calories too much to drink flavors not great and some just plain old ugly smoothies. I feel like I now have a good foundation to make some tasty smoothies. I also like reading about other participants experience. I loved all the “food stylists” photographs. Jen’s approach of “perfection isn’t the goal” makes you really feel like you can do this! I highly recommend and look forward to participating in any future challenges.
I love the challenges because it motivates me to try new recipes and flavors. I also enjoy reading everyone else’s comments and learn lots. Every recipe was wonderful. It’s amazing how many different flavors there are. I wouldn’t change anything.
I want to be healthy. This gave me more options and made me want a smoothie everyday.
I’m a little behind and will be doing my smoothies this week. 🤪 Is there still time for me to do a 14 day free trial of Rawk the Year?
I joined for the accountability and to jumpstart some better food choices in the new year. I loved most of the recipes along with the support comments and suggestions from Jen and others. I’m going to need to continue a bit longer for real changes and results. I’m proud of something that has nothing to do with the actual recipes or the challenge itself. Full disclosure I’m cell phone challenged and I managed to photograph and post the pics every single day. (Somedays I forgot to include ‘#challenge’) But I did it. Jen you and your team have done a great job and I have no ideas for improvement. You guys nailed it! Thank you.
I think it is too early to tell but it helped get me out of my breakfast routine rut.
I joined this challenge because I wanted to start the year off on a healthy path. I wanted to fuel my body with more raw foods and wasn’t sure where to begin. This challenge was so helpful giving me ideas and getting support from community with similar goals. I find myself snacking less and have more energy. I had never done a challenge before and felt very brave jumping in. 🙂 I am so glad I made the commitment and now I have no fear of cauliflower.
I noticed I wasn’t feeling tired . I feel more energetic. I’m proud that I completed the challenge. I would keep on drinking the shakes as an alternative to eating anything else
