Smoothie Challenge Reviews
What past challengers say after a week of smoothies.
Training energy
The challenge was great. It gave me the energy to get through 40 hours of behavior training. Plus it gave me an opportunity to share where my energy came from. Today’s smoothie was just what I needed. Thank you.
The Best!!
I loved finding a delicious chocolate smoothie recipe that can satisfy my sweet tooth.
Chocolate!!!! Do I need to say anymore?
Love the tropical bowl one! So delicious with all the different fruits! Just brings me back to Hawaii☀️
Smoothie love!!!
This challenge has been fabulous, as expected!! For 2 years I have enjoyed your challenges which has further lead me to enjoy your recipes and guidance. I have not been disappointed! This round I have taken away several smoothie options (watermelon, pineapple mint, chocolate protein) that I know I will use on a regular basis, as I continue to work toward the cleanest eating possible. Growing up in the land of plenty generally means that we are exposed to plenty of things that taste good but are not good for us. I am so grateful for recipes that are GOOD substitutes for many of the traditional treats that I work hard to resist. Thank you for your servants heart in sharing health with your community at large!! ❤️❤️❤️
Fun way to try new smoothie recipes
My favorite was day 1 smoothie, always trying to get extra vegetables in diet.
No, the smoothie challenge Cannot Be Over!!!
More, more, more. I have several favorites. I put stars by the following: Strawberry Smoothie w/the Cherries; Cinnamon Date – like a holiday breakfast; Orange Julius; Pineapple Mint. My husband is very very picky. He never complained about any of them. When he came home from the gym, the first thing he asked is what type of smoothie were we having today. Strange, but he asked me yesterday if they had any meal challenges. I said they do. I may look into the meals. This Florida girl thanks you for a wonderful experience.
Each day a new treat
I have been a smoothie gal for many years. I’m not one for frizzed popsicles but I did do the frozen watermelon/strawberry and it was surprisingly good the days were hot so it tasted quite good and helped to cool things off. There were so many that were delicious that it is difficult to say which was best. It was fun to see how others did theirs. It’s always fun being in a group to share nutritional passions like this. Not everyone has the same passions. Having some mobility limitations I have other thing that I pursue paying the piano painting baking ,sewing and many other things. I’ll never be able to do some things but what I can do I can do well and enjoy and share.
Scrumptious Smoothies
My favorite smoothie to make was the tropical smoothie bowl. It was a beautiful smoothie and it tasted very tropical. I love decorating my smoothies and the bright smoothie was the perfect background.
Delicious satisfying safe cleanse
I thoroughly loved the challenge my favorite we’re the popsicles as well as the smooth bowl!!! It’s was so pretty my mom loved it too!!! It made her smile a rarety as we have been fighting cancer since January follicular lymphoma. They were both so beautiful refreshing satisfying and delicious. I always felt satisfy and I feel a lot better going back to my smoothie a day despite what my doctor said. I’m going back to my Rawkstar meals and lifestyle I felt better last year. I would love the Ascend from vitamix!!! Thanks Jen and everyone for a all your hardwork and great challenge!!! I look forward too what’s coming in the future.
OMG,Healthy and Delicious
MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE IS THE CHOCOLATE PROTEIN SHAKE. I’M SO USED TO DRINKING VERY AVERAGE CHALKY SHAKES. THIS ONE WAS RICH, CREAMY ,DECADENT AND WILL REMAIN A STAPLE IN MY BOOK YEARS TO COME. I TRUELY BELIEVE THEY SAVED THE BEST RECIPE FOR LAST. THANK YOU FOR ALL THE RECIPES ALONG THIS TEN DAY CHALLENGE, BUT BEING THE TRUE CHOCOLATE LOVER THAT I’M, THIS ONE STOLE MY 💘
Love Love LOVE!
This challenge gave me new smoothie recipes that not only taste amazing, but make me feel better from the inside out! Since starting that challenge, I have had more energy and focus throughout my day. Glad to have found this challenge and added so many great options to my daily breakfast routine.
Smoothie a day
My favorite smoothie was the strawberry smoothie. Always looking for ways make strawberry smoothie without banana. Loved the creamy nuttiness cashew gave this drink. Addition of cashew also kept me full. Loved the final chocolate protein smoothie too for when I am craving a chocolate dessert!
Smoothie Sensations to Spice Up Your Life!
The smoothie challenge reconfirmed that “variety is the spice of life”! I definitely can say that it was a new and exciting experience that made my life more interesting and gave me something to look forward to each morning. My favorite smoothie was the chocolate protein shake as who doesn’t want to start their day off with all things chocolate and decadent! I learned that by prepping the smoothie variations in advance it was such a smart way to ensure I would have more time in the morning to enjoy my breakfast because it saved time in chopping up the ingredients. That 5-10 minutes extra to my morning ritual of mediation were greatly appreciated to help set the tone to the busy day ahead. I also learned how to properly make smoothie bowls which were fun because I got creative with the toppings to make it look beautiful for visual aesthetics. This challenge also helped me to explore important ingredients such as antioxidants and other forms of milk proteins and fats to incorporate into my smoothies and ensure a nutritious and wholesome breakfast since it is one of the most important meals of the day. Cheers to smoothies!
Delicious jump into summer
Except for the popsicles, I started the day off with fruits and vegetables and it just made me feel lighter and ready what the day would bring. The final chocolate one was good and I liked the strawberry and cashew milk one but the one that really surprised me was the spinach, pineapple and mint. It was so refreshing. Will make most of them again no again
Chocolate for breakfast? YES!!
I always love Jen’s smoothie challenges because they get me back on track, adding a smoothie to my daily routine. I like the variety of ingredients and formats but if I can have chocolate for breakfast, I am always down for that! The Chocolate Protein Smoothie is rich, creamy, and tastes like you are having dessert for breakfast! I enjoyed the toppings on this one (cacao nibs, almond butter, and hemp seeds). It made me feel like a smoothie barista putting it all together! Thank you Jen for another fun challenge and so many delicious smoothie options!
