Smoothie Challenge Reviews
What past challengers say after a week of smoothies.
New Flavors, New Yum!
I have wanted to try cacao powder for quite some time now, but wasn’t sure what I would do with it if I purchased some. This challenge helped me take that leap and that chocolate protein smoothie was just yum! It is a win for my husband and me! I also got to try cacao nibs; another lovely first! We’re adding a little peanut butter for part of the protein in our next batch. 🙂 All in all, it was an easy-going challenge that has added some new flavors to our smoothies lineup. Thank you!
Easiest challenge ever!
My favorite recipe was the avocado banana on day one. I was able to use fruit from our garden, so the flavor was wonderful. I have to say, though, that it’s a close call—there were so many ones I liked. Mostly, I appreciated having some new ideas for smoothies (and popsicles and bowls!). Thanks for a great challenge!
Looking forward to breakfast again!
My favorites smoothie from the Challenge is a toss-up between the avocado banana smoothie and the watermelon smoothie. The first one introduced me to using avocado in smoothies, whuch I’ve fallen in love with, and the second one is just a luscious, indulgent-tasting refresher which uses lime—my favorite way to tang up a sweet smoothie. They are easy to fix, and will make a great start to the day, or a mid-day pick-me-up.
super smoothies!
I loved the strawberry one – it was so refreshing! Thanks so much!
LOVED the Smoothie Challenge!
Surprisingly my favorite was the Pineapple Mint! I will definately be adding smoothies to my day on a regular basis. I order the SG Protein and looking forward to trying it as well. AND I’ve lost 5 pounds!
FUN + TASTY SMOOTHIES
Love the flavorful summer smoothies in this challenge. I enjoyed blending something different each day and using information new ingredients. Rawkin’ awesome!!
Blueberries for Sal
Being a part of this community has helped me think “smoothie” every day. My favorite recipe is Blueberry Spinach from day 3. I really like how creamy the smoothie is, and using blueberries is a win for a girl born and brought up in Maine! I’m amazed every day with the varied ingredient list. I have been loving the tastes so much!
Treat of the week.
Now this really was a treat. The chocolate flavors were so satisfying.
Yum!
Love the fresh smoothie ideas! Pops, what a bonus for the summer!!
Smooth journey to sweet health!
Loving this FUN AND DELICIOUS adventure! Thank you!
Delicious to the last drop
This smoothie challenge is a great and delicious way to add more plants to your diet. Over the last 10 days I had more energy in the mornings after I drank my smoothies. Usually I wake up groggy and not fully alert until about 3 hours after I get up. With these smoothies I felt alert as soon as I started drinking them. I am torn between day two’s watermelon smoothie (or what I call the sour patch smoothie) and day tends chocolate protien shake as my favorites. I have a sweet tooth so both of these smoothies hit the spot for me. The watermelon smoothie had a good balance of tart and was a little sweet but refreshing. The chocolate protien smoothie…what can I say it has chocolate!!! This one was rich and decadent just as described. I topped it with the cocoa nibs and blended the almond butter in the smoothie instead of as a drizzle on top. Great challenge. Thanks for all the delicious recipes.
Yum
All things chocolate. So easy & tastes great.
Delicious Smoothies
Loved all of them. But the ultimate beat one is today’s chocolate protein shake!
fun and helpful
chocolate protein shake – like a dessert and healthy
Get more fruit in your diet
This Smoothie Challenge taught me how easy it is to incorporate more fruit into my diet. I usually don’t eat enough fruit, but now I know I can get a couple servings in every day by blending them up. Which helps to increase my daily hydration as well. I really appreciate the Simple Green Smoothie folks. They take the time to make this whole experience top notch, and they are always so positive. It is contagious. My favorite recipe during this challenge was the Cinnamon Smoothie. It surprised me, and will become a regular for me. I like that it keeps you full longer than a fruit-only smoothie does. The Agua Fresca popsicles were a great experiment for me – how easy. And, the Watermellon Smoothie will help in the future when I have lots of watermellon in the house and looking for an easy way to finish it. Thanks so much SGS, I’m looking forward to the next challenge!
